The Cave

For the money it’s not worth it one bit. The new instructor for the toddler class don’t seem to be very interested in the kids. They do the same thing over and over again.

My daughter has been going for almost a year now and the is a great place for kids to learn, perfect or compete in gymnastics. Staff is very knowledgable and friendly. The grouping of kids is working well with age/​experience.
I would recommend it to anyone who want to get their kids into gymnastic

I love this spot. After my son has his gymnastics class, I get to do adult gymnastics, which allows me to be a kid all over again. I have looked for a work out place for a while here in Marin and I just LOVE the cave.
The instructors are so amazing, detailed, caring and devoted. You can tell that they all really love what they do here. My 4 year old literally never wants to leave and neither do I. :)

I love this place for the toddler program they have! If my son is still interested in gymnastics as he gets older they have programs for older kids too. I have tried quite a few kiddie gymnastics classes around Marin (especially closer to my home in Mill Valley), but this place is the best in my opinion. Hannah is fantastic with the toddlers also. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because sometimes their reservations and class schedules are not the most smoothly run, but they have been improving a bit more lately.

Apparently they have enough business so they don’t bother to return phone calls. Called Monday morning and Wednesday morning and left messages both times. It’s Thursday afternoon and no call back still. Huge pet peeve of mine when businesses don’t call back. Wanted to enroll my pre-​k daughter in gymnastics. I ended up looking at MegaGym’s schedule online this afternoon and five minutes later she’s enrolled in a class there.

Owners Russ and Roger are gymnasts themselves and design the adult gymnastics classes to work with each student’s abilities: from beginners to more skilled athletes. The classes are challenging and structured while also being relaxed and fun. I am in now in better shape than I have been in years and continue to enjoy developing new skills.
I have also taken the cross-​fit and yoga classes and found them good for improving strength and flexibility. The instructors are all highly skilled and helpful.
My 7 year old daughter also takes the youth classes. She also enjoys learning new skills while having fun and gaining strength, balance, and better coordination. The staff is friendly and approachable; great with kids and parents too.

The CAVE is a great community, I’ve been going for over 2 years, I travel a ton, I have been to Crossfit Classes in Monaco, Vail, Miami ‘s SoBeach, Cancun, Minn, Penna, Whistler and more, but I can’t wait to get back to The Cave
It’s not a spit shine outfit, its a community of caring people who are dedicated to Crossfit and more… there are kids gymnastic classes the same time as adult CF classes, so you see a lot of parents here.
I love this place and recommend it to all my friends… they think I’m a little over the top…

The idea is great as is the location. The classes are not bad. However, the business itself is run very poorly and unprofessionally. There’s no communication around billing, holidays, changes in staff and coaches, events, class options etc. Calls are never answered directly and messages not always returned. If they could run this like an actual small business it would improve the experience quite a bit.

Take all the positive energy and mix… the tiny ones learning to do somersaults… those brave and admired souls doing squats (especially those who were already on the planet in 1968)…the teens running and flipping and smiling… add some enthusiastic trainers and mix in a killer view of Mt. Tam… and you have a gym that inspires even a sleepy teen boy to rise on Saturday morning to not miss parkour. Love it.

We came here for a birthday party for a 5 year old. The introductory safety warnings were all impressive, as we’re the two male coaches. However there was very little structure during the 90 minutes, leaving parents to pitch in and monitor. At one point during a swinging session, a young boy walked in front of the swing which was being pushed by a coach, and he was run in to quite hard. We were surprised that the walk way in front of the swing wasn’t monitored by a coach.
A good place though we have been to better. I would recommend more structured activities and more monitoring,

This gym offers gymnastics, parkour, cross fit, and now American Ninja Warrior training and more! The coaches and trainers are very knowledgeable and friendly.
I attend the adult gymnastics classes and I can’t get enough. Russ and Roger, coaches and co-​owners, are both ex-​competitive gymnasts and their classes are very scalable, good for ALL skill levels. I, myself, am an ex-​competitive gymnast but it is inspiring to see people of all ages come out to give it a try! It’s definitely a good workout, structured yet flexible in a motivating and fun atmosphere.
The 2 hour gymnastics class starts with a 30 minute warm-​up with light conditioning to get the muscles going, the group then rotates between 2 30-​minute events. Focus events are suggested but you are free to work on what you prefer. The class closes out with a pretty intense conditioning circuit and finishes with stretching.
This is a great gym, not to mention the view of mt tam while you’re working out is a bonus.

This gym is awesome. Great children’s gymnastics. The staff/​trainers are professional, yet very friendly and approachable, and good with children.
