Since you can’t give no stars.… My mother’s heat went out over the weekend and she decided to pay triple the money to get a 24 hour heating service company to come out and look at her furnace. THEYNEVERSHOWED. When they had not showed during her time frame alloted she called them and was told they were running behind. 30 minutes pass and she calls again, they assure her that the technician is on his way. I began calling them off and on from 7:30 that night until the wee hours of the morning when I finally passed out wearing three pairs of sox, two pairs of pants, two shirts a hoodie and a huge scarf without them ever having answered the phone once. So this morning I call and ask to speak to a manager who of course never calls me back. Around 11:30 today while a prompt technician from Downing Heating and Air has arrived and is working on the furnace I call again and ask to speak to a manager. I explain my situation to the operator, and while she was polite and offered to send out another technician I declined and asked if there was a Manager there yet. And there was. Jose. Jose begins our conversation by barely listening to me tell him what had happened before he cut me off and replied«So, what do you want me to do fire him?» Did he seriously just say that to me? At that point I was seriously pissed and I told him that I would have at least liked an explanation as to what had possibly happened and maybe, just maybe, an apology rather then a flippant remark. He then went on to say something that barely resembled a sentence, something about«we don’t do outside, we just do inside, mumble, mumble, mumble. When I responded that whatever he just said was not even a sentence he offered to have a sales rep manager call me which I am sure is not going to happen. I did not expect flowers and candy with an apology but what I got sent me to Unilocal. So at the end of this little tale I guess all I can say is Glen from Downing Heating and Air showed up on time, was polite and gave us back our heat!
