Stopped for late lunch, not busy. Large restaurant with plenty of seating. Boyfriend had a one enchilada plate & I had a cup of tortilla soup with a small queso. Enchilada plate was nothing special, small portions. Salsa ramekins were unusually small & had to request salsa repeatedly. The first refill I had a tostada chip in my mouth but moved my empty salsa bowl toward the waiter, who fills my boyfriends & then turns away to greet another table. I was the one who requested the refill ?? I asked the waiter again for more, after five minutes I asked again from a busboy, who finally brought more. Terrible service. .Tortilla soup was so salty I wouldn’t eat any of it. By the time the waiter checked back my boyfriend was completely done with his lunch. I did tell the waiter to let the cook know it wasn’t edible. He asked if I would like more, Ummm, no thanks. Manager wasn’t told, or if so, didn’t care to ask about it or deduct it from our check. I don’t mind $ 20-$ 25 lunch, especially for good food, but I do mind paying it for something I can’t eat & poor service I would not go back

Service was good, the chimichanga OK. The queso was very strange, I was glad that I asked for the sauce on the side as the salsa was a much better way to dress the chimi. I will go again if I am in Corsicana.

Tasty and LOTS of food for the money. Enchiladas and fries could be better, but quesadillas were awesome! And a free sopapilla with the meal! We don’t live in Corsicana, but if we did, we’d be regulars.

Wow, I feel so freaky! I have never had a bad dish at La Pradera in Corsicana. As a matter of fact I recommend the Fajita’s all the time if someone tells me they are going that way. My family has ordered large servings to bring home when we get together. To see such awful reviews makes me feel so… what’s the word for it? Alien, that’s it. Like I’ve never had Tex-mex, or meat, or margaritas, or beer, or used silver wear. I gotta go to the Doctor and get checked out, cuz I love this place, oh, wait, I’m a sissy alien cuz my feelings are a little hurt from all the negativity. LaP. Take these negative comments to heart, and improve so e’rrybody don’t stop visiting, and so you can get some good reviews!

Friendly service. Clean. Strangely small bathroom. The hot chips in the spot, but we were really hungry. The food was majorly mediocre. My daughter gave the toast a 10. Not even her fries and chicken strips got full marks. Beans had weird fake cheese on top. Guac was ok. Rice was parboiled. Lettuce was fresh. Felt like every thing came out of a can. They dumped red sauce on top of the shrimp fajitas… Weird. No plans to come back to Corsicana. And even less likely to eat here again.

Beef fajitas were tasty, tender and grilled to perfection. Wait staff was considerate of our children and went above and beyond their service duties. Would recommend if you’re looking for tasty tex mex while passing through.

We had the ultimate fajitas for two. Awesome flavor. We were stuffed and left with a doggy bag for a snack later. Great service and food for a reasonable price.

DONTDOIT! You’ve been properly warned. The POOREST quality food for FIVESTAR prices. I personally made the mistake of not checking Unilocal before walking in to this establishment and suffered the inexcusable consequences. The most expensive meal of the poorest quality I’ve ever had to pay for. They charge extreme prices for tiny ramekins of condiments. The tortilla soup is seemingly nothing more than frozen vegetables, identical to their grilled vegetables, boiled in tap water to translucency. I think I saw something resembling cheese lurking at the bottom covering tentacles of what I can only assume was what they considered chicken. I was not able to power through to verify the the true contents. I’m fairly sure I wouldn’t, in sound conscience, be able confidently verify the later. I could go on but I’ll just keep it short. I spent $ 50 for lower quality Mexican food than Taco Bell, and substantially less food.

Lousy food. Even worse service! Dirty silverware, Dirty glasses. Very unappetizing. Eat there at your own risk. Don’t waste your hard earned money. I certainly agree with Brandi. Stay away from this place.

There is nothing like some of the worst service to cap off a day that starts with a funeral. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but seriously. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and there were some guests leaving, and maybe one other table there. The place was dead for a Saturday, but after our experience, I’m not surprised. I’m just going to break it down: Atmosphere: Country-crap? Boring, nothing too exciting. A fake fireplace and an empty buffet area. Food & Drink: My ‘top shelf’ margarita was watery and had no salt like I ordered. Bad margaritas make me a sad panda. There was truly only one vegetarian safe thing on the entire menu, which was a cheese quesadilla. I thought it was ‘okay’. Not bad, and not great. Service: This is the reason I am giving this place one star. The service was pretty wretched. The waitress seemed annoyed/pissed off at us the whole time. Perhaps she’s just completely devoid of personality but we were all totally nice and polite, and I even made a point to be very clear with my thank you’s and smile at her and she just glared. Even if you’re having a bad day, if someone is pointedly being nice to you, don’t you think you’d lighten up a little bit? Our drink orders took FOREVER to come out. Seriously, nobody else is in this restaurant. Did you have to go pick some fresh fruit from a tree and make everything from scratch? Plus, as I mentioned, no salt on my margarita. We had to ask three times to get silverware and she, of course, seemed annoyed by that. The food seemed to come out at a more reasonable pace but once it was out, our waitress was nowhere to be seen. I think she checked on us once? The service was SO bad, that my husband, who always tips very generously(he worked as a waiter for years in his youth) only tipped her a little over 10%. That might have been too much. Boring, bland food and horrible service. Stay away!

La Pradera may be pretty good for Corsicana, and they might even have some great dishes, but one thing is for certain… I didn’t have one of them. I am always on the hunt for a better enchilada. I tried the Sour Cream chicken enchiladas and I didn’t even get close to finishing them. Subpar. I might try it one more time, but only after I’ve tried the other Mexican in Corsicana first.
