This place never disappoints. Everything is delicious. I don’t like mushrooms but let me tell you, they have an amazing mushroom soup! Can’t go wrong with the lasagna or anything for that matter!

I’ve always here amazing things about this place but to me it was the worst experience I have ever had. I ordered a pizza just simple pepperoni and although it came to our table fast it was burnt tasteless and definitely the worst pizza I have ever had it was like they got a frozen pizza from the grocery store and heated it up. My boyfriend got the spaghetti which he also hated. It looked like noodles you can get at heb with a jar of spaghetti sauce.(No meatballs either) not to mention they forgot to my boyfriend his garlic bread… The wine is overpriced and it took 30 mins for server to acknowledge that I needed a refill for my soft drink. Overall I would not be going back to this place.

We were looking for a good place to eat our first night in CC. I opened up Unilocal to find a local place to eat. I was pleased to see great reviews for Franks and since I’m a lover of Italian food and it was less than 2 miles from where we were staying we decided Frank’s was it! I Ordered the Chicken San Marino and a dinner salad. The salad was very fresh and the dressing(ranch) was amazing. I asked and YES they make all their own dressings except for Honey Mustard. And my chicken? Wow! Melt in your mouth rich & creamy succulent chicken! My hubby ordered EVERYTHING! Salad, Lasagna, a side of Italian, sausage, anti pasta … ALL exceptional! I was struck by the amount of anti pasta! They don’t skimp! My grandson ordered a pepperoni pizza. Again, no skimping on toppings. Excellent! I would definitely recommend Frank’s and will definitely be back the next time we’re in CC!

Great little spot off the main street grid, food is tasty fresh and overall authentic. Best part is the bowl of fresh Parmesan cheese placed on the table for you to pile on your plate. Atmosphere is a nice combination of low light and and displays with a warm cozy feeling. I’ll be back! Already have lol..

Super impressed with this little italian restaurant. We were greeted by a wonderful aroma. It had a quaint atmosphere, staff were efficient and food was absolutely superb. Really blown away considering the location is on Leopard. A must try! Cant wait to go back.

We found this place when we were visiting CC. We’d already eaten Mexican and Mediterranean recently, so we thought Italian sounded good since I don’t eat meat and my co-worker is allergic to seafood. When we drove up, this place looked sketchy since the house is SO old looking and not in the best part of town. Once we were seated, I was able to look around. The house has so much character! I love old houses like this. I ordered half spaghetti and half cheese ravioli. The ravioli was the best I have ever had! And the marinara sauce that came with my spaghetti was amazing, and also the spiciest I have ever had! It had quite the kick. We loved our food, and my chianti was fantastic. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a local Italian establishment. The place had lots of flare and it is a family owned and run business.

Visiting the beach and the family was craving Italian food. I am glad they were and that we found Frank’s Spaghetti House. It was delicious. Dad, mom and all three kids loved it. Highly recommend.

This place is great Italian. I overhead one of the servers saying that his grandmother bought the place and the recipes are handed down and have not been altered. That’s great because they are onto something wonderful. The marinara was very flavorful. The place is an old house I believe but don’t let that deter you. Must try!

This place rules! Originally a home from the 1920s, Frank converted it into a restaurant in the 1940s. Eventually Frank sold the restaurant to Mama Moody in 1976 and they have been continuing Frank’s recipes ever since. You can taste the true Italian character of the food with a beautiful Tuscan ambiance that completes the experience. Make no mistake– this place is in the absolute ghetto of Corpus Christi, but is minutes from the downtown Boardwalk. My only complaint is that the bread is definitely not homemade. Management should look into seeing if this would be possible. Will be coming back, an authentic Italian experience for a family of five for under $ 100 can not be beat.

Amazing food and a great authentic feel. I find that often the«hole in the wall’ places turn out to be the best and the rules definitely apply here. Service is awesome and portions are big. Over all awesome!!!

Frank’s is the best Italian food that we have found in Corpus. It has a long history here & you can feel it every time you walk through the doors. I usually order the chicken parm with fettuccine pasta… delicious flavors, perfectly cooked. The lasagna isn’t my favorite, but there are plenty of other options to choose from. Ravioli are yummy, stuffed pastas are good as well. Wait staff is always friendly.

Always delicious. I love this place. It’s the best Italian food in corpus. The workers are so nice. The chianti is delicious. Love the atmosphere. I always get eggplant, but everything is delicious. Especially the cannolis!!!

I’m between 2 and 3 stars on this one. Yes, it’s an old house but the ambiance is fine with h me. But the food… Let’s start with the salad — small enough to eat in 3 bites and composed of day old bagged and wilted lettuce with WAY too much dressing(probably used to hide the condition of the lettuce-seriously) what you could see was turning color. No place that’s supposed to take you«back to Italy» should serve that. I ordered the ½ spaghetti and ½ ravioli. It wasn’t spaghetti but more of a fettuccini. And too al dente for me. Really undercooked or cooked much earlier in the day. Sauce flavoring was ok, and my hubby loved the meatballs. Now, let’s talk about the garlic bread. OMG the garlic bread. Fantastic!!! Best I’ve ever eaten!!! Go for just the bread!!!(but indict think I’ll be back)

Came here again with coworkers and had the veal piccata. Maybe it is just me but I have had other piccata dishes and this was not what I was expecting. The sauce seemed really sour. Which I know it is a tart dish but this sauce seemed sour. Also the veal looked more like it was pan boiled instead of seared, as the veal did not have any breading on it at all. The cream of mushroom soup was good however. Overall the meal was just ok but it is a bit overpriced, so I have to say this is probably the last time I will be going here. I do think that the owner could turn this place around if they would improve their food a bit and maybe brighten up the place. The prices seem high but its because the food is not good. If the food was good the prices would be on par with others. Overall impression I get is that this would be a good candidate for Restaurant Impossible.

Every since I gotten into Corpus Christi I pulled out my Unilocal App because I’m new to this area. Of course I came across Frank’s Spaghetti mainly of all the great reviews and the four stars they had. So of course if you’re a Unilocaler this is a must try place. I finally had a chance to give it a try since they closed at 2, I’ve decided to take my staff there. We got there confuse on where the front door was because nothing was label and it looks like an old house. As we got in we sat down. The atmosphere seems very very old. After the waiter rushed to take our order our food came out within 10 mins. I ordered Chicken w Spaghetti… Talking about a tasteless sauce. The sauce was so bland and there was no type if flavoring to it. Next the chicken was over cooked and super dry. Of course over cooked chicken can’t be good, it was so hard to chew on and so dry to swallow. My staff also wasn’t impress with their dish either …

One of our favorite places to eat when we’re on town. It’s one of our«will get on a plane and fly there» to eat places. Frank’s fancy or overly unique in it’s food. What you can expect is excellent service; everything is delicious and you can expect your food to be very delicious. The HOUSE special salad dressing is one thing on the menu that does help Frank’s to stand out. It’s not just good on salad… it’s good on EVERYTHING. The atmosphere is comformtable… feels like home.
