Ok seriously, I stay at a lot of hotels. The service here was great. Not the best neighborhood but not the worst. It’s not like you’re planning to hang out in the parking lot for your stay. Quality is suitable for the price.

My family stayed for 3 nights, and I guess we got what we paid for. Our room was $ 59.99 per night with two queen beds. On our second night my husband found a very large bed bug in the bed closest to the door. That was really freaky! The paint was peeling in multiple places, and the carpet was coming up in multiple places too. My favorite aspect were the pillows. The pillows in our room were half the size of normal pillows! Luckily my husband brought two from home. The chairs were stained with I don’t know what, and there was some food spilled on top of the mini fridge. As far as the breakfast goes, bland bland bland. I tried to eat a bagel, while my husband and child had cereal. Not a good selection. The area is a little seedy, so I took all valuables every time we left our room. The positive aspects are it’s in a decent location to get to downtown, and the aquarium. We did most of our dining off of Staples, which isn’t too far either. Checking in was simple, and it was quiet at night. I won’t return though, because Choice Privileges offers much nicer hotels for just a little more money.

Nice little hotel for the price! I waited until the last minute to make reservations for our beach vacation and this hotel popped up. All of the other hotels were $ 159 – 259 for the Rockport area and we got this, during peak travel season for $ 99. It’s nothing fancy, so don’t expect magnificent. However, if you’re looking for a good room, good bed, awesome a/c, good location and overall solid value — then this is your place. The breakfast setup is unique: free breakfast for each person staying. You get a choice of 3 items from a list, per person. Bacon, sausages, cereal, eggs, French toast, pancakes, oatmeal, etc most cooked to order in their kitchen. Pool is on the small side but works for the kids. Service is friendly, location is convenient and not a bad deal.

It’s ok. Stayed here on a whim as the kids wanted to go 4 wheeling on the beach but my normal chains were sold out. There were several problems with my room but nothing major there made me want to leave. Ill add pics. In the bathroom upon check in the toilet would not flush. I was able to fix it myself by taking the lid off and unsticking the little bobber thing. Also in the bathroom the door stop was not in the wall, instead it was laying on the floor. Also the toilet paper holder was not screwed into the wall so whenever you would pull out toilet paper it would come out of the wall. In the king suite there is a lack of power outlets near the bed. For someone that travels with a bunch of electronics this was not fun. There are plenty of outlets in the room, I just like to work in bed. On day two we were not provided a floor may for the bathroom. Instead we used a towel. The shower never drained correctly it always had 3 inches of water in it and finally the window does not have a privacy type curtain, only the regular curtain so you cannot open the main curtain to get light in without letting everyone see directly into your room. As I said all in all it’s ok. I feel it’s a little over priced for what you get. I travel 300 nights a year for work so I may be a little more picky than you!

My family and I were visiting and decided on this hotel because of the rates offered. We were expecting less than quality for the price but pleasantly surprised. Booking the hotel in advance was great and the lady that helped me was very friendly. I appreciated the courtesy call received the day of our reservation verifying what time we were going to show up. When we pulled up to the hotel, it actually looks like the pictures advertised on the internet, unlike other hotels we have stayed at in Corpus Christi. The lady remembered booking me via phone and sent me and my family on the way. ROOMS: The rooms were clean, no bugs, quiet neighbors, nice shower/bath combo and loved the fridge and micro for the late night snacks for the kiddos. AREA The area was a little surprising but not overwhelming. We walked to a great burger joint adjacent to the hotel which was awesome. The view is of a highway but the hotel is very appealing as far as look. LOCATION Less than 2 miles from beaches. It is a great location if you can’t afford the expensive hotels downtown. You are close enough to everything without spending more money. AMENITIES The amenities were standard: free WiFi, gym, pool, spa, and continental breakfast. The pool is a little small size. Great value and great quality. I will return to book again.

My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights. Our room was clean, service was nice. The breakfast buffet was lacking a bit. The rooms were affordable. I would go back again. I would pay up to $ 75/night.

Good room for the price. Spent three nights here. Wanted to give it 4 stars, but I expect this level of quality for the price. It’s worth paying $ 65 – 70 for the room, maybe even $ 80. It’s not a great deal, but it is priced fairly. Not a Marriott, but not a roach-infested hell hole. You get what you pay for. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in Corpus Christ. The motel has a small pool, WiFi, and fridge. It might have a microwave too(don’t remember). The beds are decent. The furniture is clean. I wasn’t crazy about the shower, but have no real complaints. No bugs, crickets, roaches like I’ve read about in other hotel reviews for other places that are less expensive in the area. No bad neighbors making you wish you paid more to stay somewhere else. Although a homeless person did ask me for money in the parking lot one night. The hotel is not in the greatest area, but it was overall quiet with quick access to the highway. About 10 minutes south on Port is a good Mexican restaurant called Taqueria Jalisco(also reviewed on Unilocal). Good tacos and other authentic mexican food(not Tex-Mex). Ate there twice during my stay for lunch.

Easy to find. Free internet, free parking and free breakfast. All bonuses! Person at the front desk was friendly and everything was laid out ready for us to check in(including internet code etc). Good facilities. Each suite is pretty self contained and our room was clean. Large room — though criticisms include poor television, shower wasn’t great, carpet was sticky, décor dated but the rooms were pretty well sound-proofed, we didn’t hear much noise. Price isn’t great, at $ 80+ a night I’d probably have wanted something more, but we used credit card points and it certainly did the job we wanted it to as an in-transit. Also, definitely worth noting is that this place had the best AC unit of any of the hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Normally my husband spends the night fighting with the AC unit trying to make it cooler, this one cooled the HUGE room, with ease. We’d both stay here again :)
