Pancakes were delicious and so was the Coronado sandwich. Really enjoyed the caramel macchiato too. Liked that it had a homey vibe and was ran by a family. Glad to support those establishments, they deserve it. Great views and great food… good place to stop at in the Cays.

We have lived in Coronado for about a year now and have yet to try a local hole in the walk breakfast joint. My sister found this place through Unilocal and seemed like a good place to eat at due to the positive feedbacks from others. Well I wish I can say the same. The service was pathetic and the server had no idea what was in the menu let alone how to communicate with customers. The manager was rude and hated criticism about her food(more on that later). The place it self looked disgusting(despite the view). The cups were dusty. The utensils were rusty and had dried up food stuck in it. The tables weren’t cleaned. The coffee was cold. The presentation on the food could be a lot better instead of slapping the food on the plate, show a little class. You’re feeding the people and tourist of Coronado after all! Back to why I’m writing this in the first place. We had ordered a two big plates, a breakfast burrito, a breakfast sandwich and a side of pancakes. Pancakes were delish, so fluffy that even my picky toddler who never eats pancakes ate it! The breakfast sandwich was okay according to my Step Father, but ordering it was a pain. The server didn’t even ask us if we wanted it on a bagel or toast and how we liked our egg. We ended up having to go back to the cashier and making sure she got our order right(for the third time). The big plates we ordered came with cold bland ‘house potatoes’ and NO toast. The burrito I had ordered was pretty good, but towards the end I saw a black hair squished between potatoes and the tortilla. I felt sick to my stomach and wanted to puke knowing I had eaten a majority of my food and someone else’s hair was chillin in my food! When we paid for our bill, we had brought the burrito to show the manager and she was in denial and not apologetic at all. She kept saying this has never happened and the hair wasn’t there. By the time she toon apart the burrito in her hair .it would’ve fallen out no doubt. She claims it was OUR hair and mind you we all colored our hair brown and blonde so there’s no way that black hair was ours! And like I said, it was squished between the potatoes. She threatened my family that she’d call the security after she made a scene. She made sure no one knew as she waited till all her customers were outside and out of ear shot to hear what we had to say. After eating here and having bad exoerience, I read previous Unilocal reviews and there are several ones regarding management and how rude, unapologettic and not willing to please customers or solve problems that happen in her establishme. Welcome to the only restaurant where the customers are not always right… according to the manager! To anyone who decides to come here .make sure you check your food first no matter how good it looks!

This place don’t deserve even a single star, but I guess I don’t have a choice to put one. The owner is so rude, pointing finger on us after we tell her there’s a black hair in my daughter Burrito, she was insisting their is a hair but, is our hair. To think our hair is blonde! Are you serious? She not even bother to apologize! She was so mad and rude to us! This lady should not running a business if she don’t know how to handle a situation like this! Suggestion to her, let her employee wear a hair net to avoid this happen again. So disgusting to find out their a hair in your food! And she need to take a anger management too! If we’re not in hurry to go back home I will wait till he call the security, so they can find out how disgusting their place. Utensil hella dirty fork is rusty. The mug you can tell is not wash good! This is a bad day to start!

The food was simply perfection!!! Overall the breakfast food was flavorful and delicious! Would come back here for the breakfast and service. The owner came and personally greeted us and was very personable! The view overlooking the marina was icing on the cake.

Great place for breakfast. Menu not overwhelming at all… not like the others. Love the ambience and the view of the beach. Its literally next to us. We ordered the Islander and Meat omellete. The islander could use more seasoning or salt. Was a tad bland but great food. The manager is an amazing owner. Full on customer service from her. The bus or waiter is great as well. Rating this place 10 out of 10. Keep it up. Love the customer service, food and location. Thanks you.

Came here with my wife this morning. Had a simple breakfast and coffee. Lady up front which I will assume is the owner was nice and told us of the special she had for the morning. We declined and had other menu dishes instead. Portions were just right, and food was good. Couldn’t help and buy the peanut butter frosted brownie that was on display… sweet tooth took over. Only reason I wouldn’t rate it 5 stars was the coffee they had in the self serve decanters… it was awful. Maybe I got some hipster flavored joe, no idea! Used to my Blue Horse Kona; should of known better honestly but I digress. Brownie was delish though

Not the greatest but limited choices on the cays makes this really your only option. Food is average as well as service and definitely overpriced. Nothing to get excited about.

They aren’t on the menu(yet) but make sure to get the bacon, chocolate chip, cayenne pancakes. Without question, it was the best pancake I have ever had. This is a perfect place to stop for brunch while biking the bay shore bikeway! Great service and super friendly!

I really don’t understand how this place possibly has 4⁄5 stars. Everything we ordered ranged from terrible to mediocre. The coffee tasted like folgers, mocha was terrible, pancake was soggy on one side, scrambled eggs were runny and mushy and the fruit bowl still had parts of the rind on the fruit. Definitely would recommend finding somewhere else to eat breakfast if you are in the area.

this place feels gives me the ma and pop shop vibe! we were greeted with a friendly waitress and the food came out in a timely manner and tasted great as well(: there aren’t much cafes around that feel super homey and have a great view of the dock just a few feet out the back door of the café. must try! only thing i didn’t like was how it’s a bit hard to find and my gps told me it was on a different side. but it’s located towards the end of the street. café has everything from breakfast lunch dinner items alcohol candy ice cream and so on ! it’s like a mini mart

This place is a local gem. Let me repeat — local. It’s a community thing. This is where locals come to get their morning coffee, say hi to each other, go back to their yachts. Food was decent, décor fine, service was friendly. Don’t expect this to be a date night restaurant, and you won’t be disappointed coming here.

I am so over this place. I WILLNEVERCOMEBACKANDBRINGANYOFMYFRIENDSHERE. I wanted to take my friend out of town to try their breakfast because I actually like the view and eggs Benedict. I didn’t realize the menu changed with the eggs Benedict and it went from $ 12 something to $ 6 something and when I got rung up I just thought I got the usual eggs Benedict plate I always get. The server comes out and gives me my plate and there’s only one eggs Benedict and I asked him if it comes with the potatoes and another Benedict. And he tells me no there is only one and it has ALWAYS been like that. really? Because the last time I ordered and every time I order it comes with two and potatoes because I didn’t know the menu changed. I go in and talk to the owner and she tells me that their menu has changed and she didn’t even want to make me what I actually wanted. Who does that? If you’re running a business wouldn’t you want to satisfy your costumers. Even if she asked me «can we charge you a couple bucks extra to make it the plate you want» I would have RATHERPREFERHERCHARGEMEFORWHAT I WANTED then be rude about it. She DIDNOTWANT to give me my refund because she kept saying«I gave you what you wanted, you wanted the eggs Benedict and that’s what I gave you» NO. I WANTEDTHEEGGSBENEDICTPLATE I ALWAYSGET. I WANTTWOEGGSBENEDICTWITHPOTATOES. Not one. She couldn’t even be like«oh sorry our menu changed i will make an exception this time». The only costumers this place is getting, is costumers that the restaurant has befriended and built relationships with. I will never ever return here because ONE, rude costumer service, TWO, their lasagna tastes like canned tomato sauce, THREE, indecisive menu changes and not EVEN taking the time to tell their costumers that it has changed. What if you have costumers that love to come back because they always get the SAME thing? Well obviously it does not matter.

Food is overall pretty decent. Incredible soft drink selection of old fashioned sodas and lemonades. Prices are too high. I paid $ 12 for a simple bbq pulled pork sub to go with no sides. The meat was average. Bonus point for friendly staff, great location and soft drinks. Otherwise would be a 3 star establishment.

These people go out of their way to please you. They will totally take care of you. They accept vegan needs. Such a huge selection to choose from. In two days, I’ve ordered The Islander Omelette and their Huevos Rancheros. Pleasantly full and very satisfied. Very small place but nice view of the bay.

Ok, well, let’s see… I called ahead to make sure that they accepted pets in their restaurant and said that they they did. Perfect! We said we are on our way. Now when we got there, a lady said«can I help you?!». I said yes, but we have a dog and I called to let you know that I was bringing him with us. She said just go around the building to the back we have a covered patio. Perfect! When we got to the back patio, to our surprise, there was a small umbrella and all seats were wet… no one came out to serve us and so we just left. Ruined morning… thank you…

Absolutely £0¥€ this place!!! My first time there tonight. My friends had been there many times and suggested we go. The owner was a real sweetheart. Felt like I knew her a long time. So kind and hospitable. The food was fantastic and large portions. Fresh and special care to detail. I highly recommend this place. Casual and relaxing atmosphere

It’s okay, I ordered an egg benedict sandwich. The fried was oily, but the ham was good. 6.95 for the sandwich, and it’s not filling. I didn’t get full nor satisfied, and I’m only 117lb. The caramel machiatto has a cardboard after taste, it doesn’t taste like coffee, I can’t even dentify the flavor. I can’t even taste the caramel. I’m very dissapointed in this place actually, it’s definitely over rated. The service wasn’t that great, when I showed up the lady was outside the cashier and she was having a conversation with the customer’s and I was standing in front of the cashier for a while before she actually asked if I was ready. My caramel machiatto and my egg benedict sandwich was $ 13 total. You make your own judgement.

Friendly and welcoming neighborhood restaurant. Hanan the owner, does a good job with a lot of unusual menu items on the menu. Located adjacent to our yacht club, it’s right on the Bay in a great place for breakfast lunch and dinner I highly recommend it.

Looking for a hole in the wall restaurant, family run, with the best huevos rancheros, and a vanilla latte that will literally bring the biggest smile??? Go no further! Delightful experience! Anna(owner) and Gina(Anna’s daughter) really seem to love what they do. Huge smiles and genuine interest in their customers.

3.5-Stars. I rounded up, because of my beverage(see below.) They are located in The Cays on Coronado Island. There’s plenty of free parking in the lot around the restaurant. The SERVICEWASPRETTYGOOD. Seeing as we were two out of the three customers, there was ample seating inside and outside. The outside seating area has a LOVELYVIEWOFTHEMARINA. I went in looking to order their Eggs Benedict that I saw on Unilocal, but they changed their menu. The woman at the register said that they could make it though. They made a kind of messy variation with raw spinach added. Maybe they were trying for Eggs Florentine. It was good. It also came with a side of house potatoes. My friend ordered the Breakfast Burrito, which had 2 eggs, ham, house salsa, and cheese inside, and a side dish of the house salsa as well. I tried it and it was okay. They have a cooler that includes a LARGESELECTIONOFBEERANDUNIQUESODAS. I knew what I wanted as soon as I saw it, Wild Elderflower Bubbly. I fell in love with it in England, but haven’t found any back home. My friend got a sparkling apple cider. We were staying at the Loews Coronado Bay and didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for breakfast. Since we had a car, I decided to Unilocal it. Unfortunately, I still ended up paying just short of $ 20 after tax and tip and my friend paid the same.

I Was looking for a breakfast spot in Coronado and this restaurant popped up on Unilocal. When we showed up we were greeted and ordered at the front counter. We were the only ones in the restaurant. It was so beautiful outside we decided to sit in the patio area. The restaurant is cute, small with unique décor. The food was average, we ordered eggs Benedict and an egg muffin. My Overall experience was good will stop by again only if I am in the area. Pros: friendly staff, fast service, amazing location, Cons: Not many menu options,
