My laptop’s hard drive died. I took it here based on other Unilocal reviews which were spot on. Michael did an excellent job repairing my laptop — he replaced the hard drive and was able to recover my old files. I had my computer back in no time at all. Professional, friendly service and a quick turnaround makes for a great recommendation of this business.

This is a great business. You know that feeling of the floor falling out from under you when your hard drive crashes and you get the dreaded Blue Screen of Oblivion. Michael had my MacBook up and running in a very short time, calmed me down, explained how to take better care of my Mac (never, *ever* leave your laptop on hibernate or sleep, it wears down the disk), and brought it back to life for a very reasonable price.
Take your computer here, and you’ll be treated with great courtesy; they’ll listen to your questions, explain every step of the repair process, and work very, very hard to restore your computer to its original state. I see from their website that they also do computer builds, networking and graphic design — I am sure that they do the same fine job, with the same attention to customer service and detail, that they did with my Mac.
I would give them 10 stars if I could. Worth a trip to Coronado (they’re in the California plaza building, at the corner of 10^th and B). I would definitely take a computer here for any sort of refurbishment, or if I wanted a custom build.
