$ 5.75 for a huge sandwich AND potato salad. THAT’S what i’m talking about! The turkey is always fresh and the potato salad. OH the potato salad. you just won’t find a better value. The staff treats me like an officer even though i’m just a civilian. They’re always stoked to see you, and if you like your sandwich a certain way it’s ALL goooooood.

This place is one of the best kept secrets on the base. It can be a bit pricey for us the enlisted who aren’t TAD, and eat out on a daily basis, however it’s daaaaaaamn good!
The 2 ladies that work there remind me of John Stockton and Karl «The Mailman» Malone; because they have the ultimate «give and go» system. Their suggestions on the sandwiches, salads and soup are immeasurable.
When you’re ready to get rid of your McDonald’s and start eating a bit healthier, then this is the place to be.

If your looking for a reasonably priced place to eat on NAB then BAyside Deli is the place. The soups and the sandwichs are outstanding. The chili and the clam chowder are by far my favorites.

The Bayside Deli has been part of my weekly lunch routine since I have been stationed on the Naval Amphibious Base for the last two years, and for good reason. Fantastic sandwiches with many different choices of bread and great soup at affordable prices keeps it very busy during lunch but the two friendly women who work there make it a truly memorable experience. Each sandwich also comes with potato chips, but it should be noted they do not have a large selection and no baked lays or pretzels if you are trying be a little healthier. The drink selection includes Pepsi products, Snapple, and bottled water. Although it is off the main street it is well worth taking the time to find.
