Definitely enjoyed the food and experience here. I will definitely be going back! Keep up the good job guys! Oh and great décor

The tamales were dry, not a good thing to be. The service also has much to be desired. The servers are polite, but not professional. The food took forever and came in drips and drabs. My husband and daughter got their food and my mother and me waited another 20 mins before we got our food. Did I mention my mother ordered a soup. It should not take 30 mins to get a soup, when people who got there after us got their soup and entrée way before us. Oddly enough I got a vibe of reverse racism. If you are Anglo they seem to serve quickly, but if you are Latino the pace seems really laissez-faire. Seem to have forgotten where they are located. This was not a first time or only visit. I have gone here for years and this vibe has always been there, but today it was most pronounced. Won’t make the effort to go anymore.

Loved it. Individual pots of tasty goodness. Contains all you need to create your soft shell taco. Loved the mango margarita. Small place so prepare to wait a bit for seating. Good service.

Pretty average and by no means a destination restaurant. The tortillas may be fresh but they’re nothing special — too healthy-tasting(a bit of oil would be nice) and lacking in strong corn flavor(although it comes across more in the chilaquiles than the tacos). Proteins are fine but in need of salt. Hot sauces are mediocre. Service is very attentive so that’s a bright spot. Overall, you can get better Mexican food at a lower price in the same neighborhood(or many other neighborhoods).

Delicious. Vegetarianism has been hard on this once intrepid foodie. No longer can I walk into a place and randomly point to good-sounding yummies — now I need to inquire if the pie uses lard or butter, if the soup uses chicken stock, whether they’ll charge me extra to replace the bacon with some veg. Luckily, places like Tortilleria Nixtamal save us veggies the pain, and allow us to feast alongside our carnivorous buddies. I came on a beautiful summer day hoping they still had their outdoor seating(they don’t — but the windows easily slide open if you sit at the raised benches). I had tried their cactus(nopales) tacos before, so my heart was intent on that. Instead, I found virtually everything on the menu has vegetarian options: three kinds of tacos; the tostada; the quesadilla; two kinds of tamales. And it’s all marked as veggie! The décor of the place is great, with red and yellow tiling mixing with paper cut outs to give it a festive atmosphere. The employees are also great — friendly and helpful. The quesadilla was good — presentation was far better than any quesadilla I’ve had before, and the tortilla was delicious. I also tried one each of the three veggie tacos. Would go ahead and say avoid the bean and cheese taco(frijoles and aguacate). Try the nopales, but the taco that was really amazing was the tomato: smokey and jam-packed with flavor. I would go for the red sauce to go on it. The meal was finished with horchata, but naturally we had to bring something home for the other hungry mouths. Two tamales. Unwrap and fill the house with a delicious fragrance banned in 32 states for causing drooling. One savory, one sweet, both scrumptious. I will be returning more often!

OOOOOHHHHEEEEMMMGEEEEE SO I have been recommended to go to this place for some YEARS now, but being that I live in Brooklyn and it is DEEP in Queens this never happened. Finally a few weeks ago some friends and I drove out and my life became a little more whole. For anyone who know me, knows I LOVE Latin food, and Mexican is my favorite. Finding authentic and delicious Mexican food is harder then you would think in this melting pot of New York City. It’s often fused with some disgusting hip trend… like kale(Looking at you Chelsea and TriBeCa) . Tortilleria Nixtamal AMAZING and traditional all the way around, from food and drinks. I had the tacos, a combination of chicken and fish, absolutely delicious. My friend had the tostados which sh also enjoyed. All plates were damn near licked clean. for dessert we had tres lech cake. though it was not my favorite, it was still pretty good. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area or anyone is search of some great traditional Mexican food.

I have been to Nixtamal a few times so I now feel it’s time for my review. Tortilleria Nixtamal is a small taco restaurant /factory at the end of a nondescript residential block of private homes in Corona, Queens, NY. They have an authentic tortilla making machine and they make thousands of tortillas a day because they supply tortillas to many of NYC’s Mexican restaurants. One would never expect to find tortillas and tacos of this quality in a location like this. Parking is difficult in this residential area so be prepared to drive around the block a few times. I was there with my daughter for dinner at 8:00 on a Friday night and the wait for a table was an acceptable 20 minutes. Once we were seated the fun began. I ordered a beer and my daughter ordered the Horchata. The Horchata was delicious but way to sweet for my liking my daughter loved it. We ordered the homemade guacamole and chips and a steak tostada while we looked at the menu. The guacamole was some of the best we ever had, seasoned just right with plenty of chunks of fresh tomato. The chips are made from their tortillas and are perfectly fried. We ordered a second batch for scooping up the rice and beans we had ordered. The tostada was a delicious steak salad atop a toasted tortilla. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I ordered a couple of tacos al Pastor and a chorizo taco. My daughter ordered a steak taco, chicken taco and an al Pastor. We ordered some rice and beans to share because I wanted to try them. The rice and beans were OK, I’ve had better, but my curiosity had been satisfied. Next time I’ll just order more tacos instead. Now those tacos, man o’ man are they good. The chunks of pork in the al Pastor are seasoned just right and was not over powered by the onion and cilantro. The pineapple chunks just take the al Pastor over the top. An amazing flavor combination. The chorizo was very good and not very spicy. My daughter said her chicken and steak tacos were also very good. She was so blown away by the tacos al Pastor, that she ordered 2 more for desert. I had another chorizo and al Pastor for my desert. I also need to mention that on a previous visit with my wife we had shared a bowl of their Pozole, a house-made pozole in white pork broth, served w/lettuce, radish, onion, Mexican oregano & a tostada wow was that good. When the weather gets colder I’ll need to try their tortilla soup. I also tried their tamales. The tamales were good but try as I may I’m not a fan of tamales but I’ll keep giving them a try. Tortilleria Nixtamal is worth the trip and the hunt for a parking spot. Time to go on a taco adventure.

Located on a quiet street not far from the 7 stop, a little small but the inside is clean, bright and colorful. We shared the chicken nachos, with melted cheese and fresh avocado. I had the barbacoa and chorizo taco, clean flavors, not too loaded, and the tortillas stayed together until the last bite! For dessert we had the tres leches was the perfect sweet ending, but in the end I’m not sure if this cute joint would bring me back to corona just for a visit.

I love New York and all the little gems the great city has to offer. Most people don’t consider Queens to have anything as good as Manhattan has to offer but times are changing people and Queens is now a food scene. I came here years ago before a Mets game and remembered the great inexpensive food. I wanted to show my girlfriend this place for months now so the other weekend before the Mets game we parked nearby and walked through the neighborhood. If you didn’t use Unilocal of Google Maps, your probably would never had heard about this place. It’s in the middle of rows of homes with almost nothing else around. But walking down the block, the bright colors and smell of fresh masa and tortillas are perfuming the air and you know your headed in the right direction. We each started with a drink. A simple Corona for me and my girlfriend had one of their margaritas. I had a taste and wow it blew me away, not kidding one of the best I’v had in a long time. She is going to know after reading this review, but she turned and was watching TV or something and I stole a few more sips it was that good. So to the food: They have so many options and if you can’t decide on one of their platters or dishes, just pick and choose from the taco and tamale list. I had the chicken taco, the steak, and the chipotle tamale. The tamale was my favorite because its so rare for a restaurant to make their own; it was fresh, steaming, spicy goodness. The salsa’s on the side are perfect if the tacos are a little dry for your liking or if you want to kick things up a notch. The service is great, everyone is so attentive. You can tell the staff actually appreciates their customers and everywhere I look, the staff members were smiling and enjoying their job and proud of the food they serve. My advice is no matter what, try something with one of their tortilla shells. They are made there and chances are when your eating Mexican out, you are eating tortillas made here. No matter what you end up ordering for a meal, make sure you try their handmade and authentic tortillas. Can’t wait to come back again and try something new on the menu!

Gems like these are what makes NYC so great. This place is a hole in the wall in the middle of a residential area in Corona. They make their own taco shells here which are amazing! Corn tacos beat flour tacos all day. There were probably about 10 tables in the whole place but there’s a bench outside of you would like to dine al fresco. The service was quick and friendly and they came up to us minutes after we sat down. So if you’re pressed on time when you want to catch the mets game, this place is pretty good. For drinks my boyfriend ordered a corona and I went with the mango margarita which was heavenly. It was sweet and strong and it came with a chipotle spiced rim and it had a nice kick to it. I went with the carnitas and entrana tacos and a chicken tostada. The tacos came with a good amount of meat but the tostada could have had more chicken but they were all so delicious! The meat was fresh. I think next time I’m going to try the quesadilla I saw a couple of tables order them and they looked awesome!

Okay, so I have to start off with the fact that I recently moved from the taco capitol of the US, sunny San Diego! I’ve been spoiled with the best Mexican food you can dream of for the last 5 years. Anyway, I scoured Unilocal in search of a decent taco shop here in NY and I came across Tortilleria Nixtamal. After drooling over the pictures of tacos and tamales on this site, I finally decided to venture from Kew Gardens to check out the hype. The shop is located on a quiet street in Corona. It’s bright, cheery and very cute. Once I was seated, I ordered my drink and received a chilled mason jar and a bottle of coke. Already knowing I wanted the chips and guac, I ordered it right away. It was delicious by the way. Then I proceeded to order two chicken tacos and two entraña tacos with a rajas tamale. When my food arrived I dug in, first with the chicken tacos. They came with grilled onions, which in never put on my tacos back in SD, but oh well, I gave it a shot. They weren’t for me. The chicken was very juicy, so much that the tortilla was soaked through and kept falling apart. I shoveled them down, and went on to the steak. It wasn’t seasoned well at all, and a bit mushy, like maybe they cooked it at extremely low heat for entirely too long. After two bites, I gave up on the steak tacos and moved on to the tamale. For a rajas tamale, I expected there to be yummy, gooey cheese and peppers inside. What I got was a mouth full of masa and very little filling. There was hardly any cheese at all, and the peppers tasted dry. I so hate giving this place a less than fabulous review, but the expectations were high walking in to the place. Three stars is the best I can do, however, taking into account my previous residence in taco city. Perhaps I just came at a bad time of the day or ordered the wrong thing. I may come back to try some of their other dishes.

Let me clear up some things at Tortilleria Nixtamal — you are not the first person to journey from Brooklyn, Manhattan or even out of state to come here; most tortilla factories aren’t like this, and there are many in the City; and this isn’t the only place that offers this type of food in the area. I, like many people, had heard about the torilleria long before arriving. This is a place with hundreds more reviews than its surrounding restaurants, with plenty of good media coverage and long list of recommendations. With my father, best friend and his son in town, I wanted to make sure we got a meal after the Mets’ inevitable loss to the Phillies(they did lose). I originally planned to go somewhere else, but decided to switch it up after hearing that the tacos here are self-assembled from large plates of meat and vegetables. I figured the 4-year-old would enjoy this activity. I was wrong. By the time we had explored the upper and lower decks of Citi Field, it was pretty clear that what this child needed was a long nap, not tacos. Despite ordering a very plain taco of chicken and a tortilla, he would have no bites of food. Thankfully there were watermelon margaritas for the adults, with a spicy rim center and a fair amount of tequila inside. I had two. We also two of the platters, one with chicken tinga and the other served al pastor. There was plenty of food for the four of us, honestly we could have probably stuck to just one family sized platter. The tacos are not as heavenly as their reputation. I suspect that people from the West and Southwest might be slightly disappointed after journeying out this far, for meat more tender and more flavorful can be found on the street corners of most towns throughout the country. The presentation is solid but not mindblowing, and it seems odd that this something of a right of passage for liberal New Yorkers. Yes, these are better-than-average tacos, the interior is brightly decorated and the tortillas are made in house. But there are other restaurants in the neighborhood, and perhaps they deserve a few visitors as well?

The homemade tortillas, cozy ambiance, fun décor and super friendly service all come together nicely to make for a great experience. Those expecting hole in the wall or taco truck pricing will be disappointed, but overall for the tasty dishes they serve up I thought the prices were totally reasonable. My favorite of the tacos I had was the al pastor which was perfectly flavored and had nice fresh chunks of pineapple which are typically all mushy at most other shops. You can wash it all down with the typical assortment of beverages you’d expect. Seating is definitely limited, ideal size would be two for minimal waits otherwise I’d say a max of 4 if you don’t want to wait forever.

Absolutely amazing service. Granted we were the first, and only patrons at the time, but they were great. Everything for me needed a little more flavor. A little more salt, and some pepper at least. It just missed the mark. Too much tortilla flavor, not enough of the rest. I’m used to Mexican food from Calli so I have pretty high standards. It wasn’t the worse, it wasn’t the best. It was good but not great. I know most people reviewing this place won’t agree with me, but that’s the beauty of Unilocal :)

I really thought this place was going to be something special but as it turns out I was sorely mistaken. The tacos are a little over priced and at first I was okay with that because I saw that they made their own tortillas. Everything was sub-par and I have actually had better Mexican at Tex-mex places(totally not real Mexican). The horchata was watered down although it wasn’t terrible. I think that they should really pay more attention to the flavors of their meats. It was underwhelming and Mexican food should be super flavorful. Even though the tortillas were fresh it would have been nice if they were toasted, because it was super chewy and tough to get through. If I’m in the area and absolutely need Mexican food, I would come back. Is it a place that one should go out of their way to try? Absolutely not.

This spot is one I hope is around forever. I bring everyone here and I’m slightly obsessed. Guacamole is thick and served with house made corn chips from the tortilla factory on site! Perfect crunch to dip ratio. Tacos are small, but because there are varying types, you can use this to your benefit: mix and match! I haven’t had one taco I didn’t find amazing. I love the combo of three: pescado taco, cameron taco, and frijoles y aguacate taco, because they are on the lighter side and I can still make room for my elote tamale con crema!!! The tamale is wrapped in corn husk, so peel the wrapping open to find your gift! :D

Looking for some tacos and tamales in Corona? Why not drop by here? This edgy colorful themed restaurant serves pretty great quality food for a decent price. I was brought here by my friend since it was on his bookmark for a while. They have 2 doors where one is the main entrance and the other is to a window just for pick up or takeout. Don’t get confused liked me. As you approach the entrance, you can already smell the fried tortilla goodness. Yummm… We walked in and decided to sit in the booth with the big TV on the side. we had a hard time deciding what to get but we finally made the choice. We ordered the steak taco, carnita taco, fish taco, shrimp taco, Verde tamale and guac and chips for appetizer. For the tacos you have a choice to have it all put in for you or diy everything on the side. For drinks, of course we got sangria and horchata. All the tacos were great but my favorite one was the shrimp. The shrimp was grilled and mixed in some tangy mangos and cucumbers. The carnita was nice and soft topped with some cilantro and onions. The fish taco was filled with tomatoes, onion, cilantro and of course a piece of nicely fried fish. The steak taco was with some tender steak cubes topped with cilantro and onion. If you want spicy, they have 2 tubs of hot sauce, one green and one orange, for you to spice up. As for the tamale, it was a bit skimpy. By that I mean that there was barely any pork and all corn meal. The guac and chips here are amazingly good. You can never go wrong with guacomole but their guacomole has a nice kick of jalapeño and it’s just out of this world served with their self fried tortilla. The chip were a bit oily but it was so good paired with that guac. Sangria here is served in a cute glass Mason jar topped with bits of fruits. The sangria is tasted strong and was nice and sweet at the same time. The horchata is always a great choice at any Spanish restaurants. I don’t think they can ever go wrong with that. Overall, I really liked it here and would like to come back to try their entrée platters and of course their guac and chips, sangria, and tacos!

Someone recommended this place and insisted I try it. I am so happy I did! First of all, the atmosphere is casual and colorful, and there were big screen TVs playing soccer. You could smell the corn masa and see them making homemade tortillas out of it. I ordered the Chorizo bowl, which consist of finely chopped chorizo, rice, jalapeños, onion, cactus, and this amazing salty cheese, which was melting on the mortar bowl the fish came in. All the fresh tortillas you want to go with your meal, and incredibly warm and friendly staff! I will be going back to try other stuff on their menu. Go here!!!

I have no idea how this place made it on food network, the tacos are terrible. Coming from Arizona and being Mexican have eaten some really good tacos in the US and Mexico i can tell you these are terrible. And way over priced, i would have been better off spending 50 $ at the grocery store and making my own. This place reminds me of mexican restaurants that mexicans dont eat at.

Husband and I went here to celebrate my birthday recently. Once I found out this place supplies tortillas to one of my favorite restaurants, Rosa Mexicano, I knew we had to try it out! We arrived a little before 5pm, and there were only two tables taken. It was a pretty chilly night, and since the tables and seats are metal, they were a little cold. For starters, we ordered the Mexican Nachos with chicken, which we thought were a pretty good portion. It came with all the condiments — beans, cheese, avocado, etc. The chips are made fresh in house, and they were nice and crispy. My husband also ordered the shrimp soup, which he said was a little spicy but very good. For our entrees, my husband ordered the entrana(carne asada/skirt steak) in a molcajete with tortillas on the side to make your own tacos and a Sprite. I ordered one of each taco — chicken, al pastor, and carnitas, along with an horchata. The entrana in a molcajete was stuffed! It came with rice, beans, nopales, jalapeños, green onions, lime, and of course, the steak, which was cooked perfectly. My husband received seven tortillas with his meal. I’m not much for al pastor, but I have to admit that it was pretty tasty. I was worried it would be overpowered with the pineapple, but the pineapple made the meat sweet and was not strong at all. I loved the chicken and carnitas tacos. The chicken taco came with topped with an avocado/tomatillo salsa, which was so delicious. The carnitas were amazing as well. I ordered a second set of tacos — one chicken and one chorizo. I personally did not like the chorizo taco. I felt it didn’t have any flavor, and it seemed it was cooked too long that it was a little hard. For dessert, we shared an order of the flan, which is my husband’s dessert weakness. It was a good sharing size, and the flan was on the edge of being almost like cheesecake. It came with a good amount of caramel. We would definitely come back here again!

Okay so I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and finally got the chance to go in today. Overall it was a good place to go in Plate portions could have been better Taste is absolutely delicious Restaurant is spacious Great customer service This is one of those fancy Mexican restaurant that might not be very very typical and have that home made taste. Come at your own risk. I came in with my mom and we had the Chicken Nachos. They were great. Very cheesy! A good portion of beans and the nachos were still crunchy. There was NOT one soggy nacho on that plate. Afterwards we ordered the skirt steak tacos, individually 4 – 5 tacos come out of the order. The presentation was beautiful. They give you this big bowl with beans, rice, jalapeño, three strips of cheese, green onion(not chopped), cactus leaves, strips of the skirt steak and wrapped in aluminum foil was the tortillas. The taste was amazing! I have to say the tortillas was so fresh that as soon as they are about to enter your mouth you can already taste it beforehand. You make your own tacos of course. Like I said before it’s great.

If you are looking for a quick authentic Mexican meal, look no further. It’s a no frills place that you can be in and out in under an hour. The menu slightly changed and downsized which was disappointing to see. I usually order the enchiladas verdes, that comes with rice and beans(The green sauce has a slight kick to it). If I’m not as hungry I’ll order a bunch of different tacos(chorizo are my favorite). Homemade chips and salsa are a must. The guacamole is good(heavy handed on onion which I’m personally not a fan of). This is my go to Mexican place if I’m craving enchiladas or tacos.

This place was amazing! I tried the shrimp, skirt steak and grilled pork(al pastor) tacos and they were all tasty but my favorite was the pastor. Cute clean restaurant with a bunch of big screen tvs. Then afterwards I found out it was on Diners Drive-ins and Dives when I saw the framed plaque on the wall from Guy. The fresh corn tortillas were the best I’ve had in a while and now I know why! I also tried the sweet corn tamale at the waiter’s recommendation and it was also the best tamale I’ve ever had. Tender, slightly sweet, and very tasty. Looking forward to going back to try more items on the menu!

This is an awesome taqueria! When you enter you walk past the vat of corn that I assume is used to make tortillas. It shows the freshness of their ingredients. The restaurant is not large so isn’t recommended for large groups. My group and I shared the nachos and family sized al pastor tacos and ordered our own individual dishes. I felt the nachos were not large enough for the $ 9.25 cost but they were delicious! The al build your own al pastor tacos were amazing! All the components come together in a bowl for you to add on as you’d like. The meat was so juicy and flavorful! The family sized made 8 – 10 tacos but I felt as though there was enough meat left over to make at least 2 or 3 more tacos. I had the skirt steak tostada which was really good. I tried the shrimp taco which I liked but wasn’t in love with. To drink we all had a really tasty pineapple margarita. I didn’t taste much tequila in it but it’s also possible that it was just that good. If you want really good tacos, definitely try this spot.

Fun and festive décor along with the Guy Fieri tag on the wall set the tone for this mexican eatery located on an unassuming block way away from the happenings of 108th street. Having come on a taxing Friday night I was glad we beat the rush. The ambience was as chill as a Mexican joint splattered in motley tile could be(even with beisbol on the tele and the Mets in the playoffs!) The menu has a variety of choices to keep you interested on the regular. Our meal consisted of a sweet corn tamale, fish, shrimp and(lamb) barbecoa taco and a synchronizada. Firstly, the tamale wrap steamed the smoosh out of the corn leaving a tender, sweet polenta-like filling that was better on its own than with the bland mayo dip. The fish taco was forgettable and barbecoa could’ve benefitted from some acid element while the shrimp was a bright spot with its killer mango salsa. Overall the tacos were instantly tastier smothered in the red table sauce, but were on the lighter side of full. Though, I’m seeing this more commonly, the prices leave a little more to be desired. My favorite item of the night was a Chicken Tinga Synchronizada which is Mexican for Quesadilla conjoined twins. The chicken being shredded soaks up more marinade and brings it along as one of the binary layers(other being gooey Mexican cheese) while all of that is covered in shredded lettuce and crema. I also give a nod to the authentic and refreshing Horchata which I wish was offered by the pitcher! I could see myself coming back, but not before checking alternative local fare Corona, they offer a lunchtime taco happy hour or unless I need to explain to my kids where tortillas come from(see Tortilla machine in the window.)

Let me start off by saying that my bf said the food didn’t impress him during a visit years ago. He also doesn’t like Mexican food. I was so thrilled to try this place as I love everything on DDD. I was not impressed. I had the fish tacos and they were so spicy that I felt like something actually burned my tongue. My bf had the pork tacos and he loved them. I tried the margarita too, not traditional and not very delicious but I felt tipsy so that’s good. It had Tajin on the rim and I love that! Got the tres leches and it left much to be desired. Overly sweet but had a good texture. They should do a little tweaking and I’m sure it would improve. They’re on the right track.

Excellent but surprisingly expensive Mexican food tucked away in Corona, Queens. Conveniently they also serve Corona beer :-). No tradition of chips & tomato salsa here, alas. A plate of food to make 4 – 5 tacos is $ 17.50. Those tacos are fantastic! I tried the lamb(Barbacoa) and nopales(cactus): small corn tortillas with diced onions and fresh cilantro, no glop. You can add sauce from the jars of the table, but I missed a shot of fresh green salsa on top. My dining companion tried the enchiladas in molé, a deeply spicy dark yummy sauce on tortillas filled with queso fresco, no shredded Monterey Jack cheese here! Came with very good rice and refried beans, just$ 13. Vegetarian rating: solid 3 stars, try the elote(corn) tamales with fresh cream sauce or the cactus tacos. Also you can order the enchiladas with no animal protein. Very friendly service, English spoken here. But no a/c and those metal bench seats, well, they don’t exactly encourage lingering over your food lol. Be sure to take some fresh chips & corn tortillas with you, both sold by the pound.

Indiscriminately located on a local side street, if you’re not looking for it you would drive right by and not realize how much deliciousness you just passed. I have to note the pretty neat Mexican themed decoration with many cool looking statues and symbols throughout. Now for the food: — I had the Barbacoa and it was excellent and very flavorful. Served in a stone mortar like bowl the Barbacoa was so tasty as the shreds of lamb meat was generous in portion, seasoned well, and still had a slight lamb gaminess(which I like). Contained within the mortar was an assortment of other fresh delicious ingredients such as cactus(highly delicious and interesting in texture), a generous portion of shredded cliantro, huge stalks of green onion, a huge red pepper, a nicely sized chunk of cheese(queso fresco maybe?), and underneath it all a nice bed of rice. –My co-worker ordered the Chicken Enchiladas, and he remarked on how much he enjoyed the dish. It was quite evident as he finished the entire plate very quickly. Based off his comments he said the chicken and mole were really delicious and exposed him to flavors he has never experienced before. –My favorite part of the meal was the refreshing and smooth Horchata. The perfect drink to pair with the meal; slightly creamy, a little sweet, and just the right amount of cinnamon flavor really tamed some of the spicy elements of the Barbacoa. I’m a big fan of Horchata’s now! Good Mexican food is pretty plentiful in this area of Queens and just add in Tortilleria Nixtamal to that delicious mix!

Awesome tacos, yummy pozole, and brightly colored furniture, and TVs in the booths. Add in the fact they make the tortillas themselves? WIN. Price-wise, I have no complaints but then again I only ordered tacos, not full entrees. There are a ton of places to go for tacos in Queens, and I would never dare to call this place the best there is. But the atmosphere is worth checking out at least once.
