Tasteful Cakes

I’ve never been disappointed with tasteful cakes. They always deliver nothing but the best! I ordered a cake for my sister in laws baby shower. The cake well exceeded my expectations in all aspects. 1. It was gorgeous! 2. The cake itself just tasted amazing everyone ate more than 1 piece so they could try all the different flavors. We ordered a 2 tier cake and a separate cutter cake. The cutter cake was whipped cream frosting white cake with fresh strawberries and cream, we also ordered buttercream frosting marble cake with fresh bananas and cream and banana nut cake with chocolate milkshake mousse with fondant decorations. I won’t order cake from anywhere else ever again.

I ordered cupcakes for my daughters mermaid themed party and they turned out so wonderful! They matched the specific color I had given them perfectly and they tasted great and were super cute. Very reasonable pricing again. Great local bakery would recommend for special occasions!

I loved our wedding cake we got from here! The cake looked beautiful and exactly how I wanted it to look! We got the corona sunset and dulce de leche flavor and they both were amazing. Our guests loved it too! Their customer service is great and we had no problems!

I have been coming here for the last 3 years to purchase our family’s special event cakes & every time they have done a phenomenal job. Not only in presentation but in taste as well which is hard to find. I recently had my first baby and decided to do a nautical theme for his first birthday party. I went all out & needed a cake that would match a 150 guests party. Well everyone was impressed by the cake! It was gorgeous! Thank you for everything Tasteful Cakes! WOW!!! Our wedding cake was above and beyond our expectation! We can not say enough how beautiful it was! Perfectly textured buttercream, with burlap wrapped around each of our four tiers. We received so many compliments on the taste and how it looked! We highly recommend getting a cake for any occasion from Tasteful Cakes!

I am so pleased with this cake!!! My coworkers loved it. I gave a baby shower at work for one of the doctors and she fell in love instantly by the presentation of the cake. The colors were amazing the cake was beautiful. I said I pray this cake taste as good as it looks. And it met my expectations along with everyone else’s I got stopped by several coworkers and they said omg that cake was amazing, that cake was great, the cake was perfect. I am so pleased it was the best cake I have ever had. The customer service was amazing at tasteful as well. They live up to their name I’m impressed! By the way we had the Chocolate Dulce delicious!!! First cake from here it won’t be my last I can guarantee you that

Rude laughing over the phone? and Over Priced they gave me a $ 500 quote for an easy cake that could serve 24 guest?
I sent the same cake design to «Hansens» and I only paid $ 200 for a larger cake that serves up to 35 guest.

Great looking and tasting cake! I went into this bakery a week before the party I was hosting. I had a picture of a cake that was decorated in the chalkboard style and asked if they could do something like it. They did a great job. It was the smallest size cake they make– an 8 or 9 inch round cake. Everyone who received a piece at the party (it only fed 12 guests) said the cake tasted good. I gave a 4 star review because of the price. Even with the Unilocal first time customer discount, the cake was still $ 91 which I personally feel to be on the high end.

Yesterday was my Munster themed gender reveal party! Not only did the staff at the bakery kill it with the decoration of the cake, they killed it with the taste of it, too!!! Everyone absolutely loved the cake and not a single bite was left. They couldn’t believe it was vegan either! I never try and force my vegan ways on people, but if I’m throwing a party everyone knows that all the food will be vegan, and with the food and the cake being so delicious yesterday it left a great taste in people’s mouths about eating vegan! Thank you guys SO much for being so amazing at what you do! Definitely coming back for our baby shower and other events!!!

My mom got my baby shower cake from this bakery. It was adorable and delicious. It was such a beautiful centerpiece to our shower. The decorator was spot on and did exactly as we had wanted. Thank you!

This bakery is amazing! Can’t say enough about how wonderful the cakes are both inside and out. We ordered a cake for my daughters 1^st birthday and did everything via email, the cake was simply gorgeous and the smash cake was adorable and coordinated :).
Thanks to Patty for making this happen. The dulce de leche cake is so so good and the frosting is light and delicious – its not overly sweet and you can taste the butter as the frosting melts in your mouth. Note that all the shells on the cake are edible white chocolate.

I’m just one of those lucky souls that only get a birthday every 4 years. A Leap Year Baby! So, I just got to celebrate my real birthday this year. What a bash! (it has to be when you have to wait so long in between). Theme was Havana Nights with coffee marinated skirt steak, mojo chicken, empanadas, mojitos and plenty of cigars. An incredible celebration. Why do I bring this up … check out this cake! A definite piece of art. It was so real that people kept trying to open it for a stick. I have to tell you, the detail was spot on and the cake artist … amazing (and I went in to the store to tell her so). I’m jaded in my old age so not easily impressed but this cake blew me away! If you have something special to celebrate that warrants the best, you’ve gotta go to Tasteful Cakes in Corona. Thanks guys!

We always get our cakes/​cupcakes here for birthdays but we ordered custom cakes for the first time here for our daughter’s 12^th in November 2015 and our son’s 10^th in January 2016. The lady that helped us was very nice and listened to what our kids wanted for their cakes. They were both beautiful and tasted really good especially the Marble cake with the strawberry mousse filling. It actually has fresh strawberries in it! I forgot the combination of the other ones but I remember the mocha and dulce de leche fillings. Yum! We will definitely keep coming back here!

A small strawberry chocolate cheesecake and a large chocolate cake.
Both very pretty, decorated nicely and a lovely surprise!
Taste wise I did prefer the cheesecake, but both were very good, high quality and you can tell they put thought and detail into their products.
Perfect for last minute occasions, they can customize any cake and write on it for you on the spot, no need to pre order.

Ordered a custom cake for my mom’s 60^th birthday and they did a beautiful job! So much attention to detail and they really listened to what I requested. Very helpful and ready on time. The cake was beyond delicious! We ordered the Corona Sunset and it was a big hit! I highly recommend Tasteful Cakes

Purchased a cake with a groupon I purchased. I called 10 days before my event and was walked through the menu by a very helpful young lady. There are so many choices and I felt completely overwhelmed, she advised that their corona sunset was the best selling cake so I went ahead and ordered that.
I was able to order custom decorations for no extra charge which was nice. Day of pickup came and I had no problems. I recieved instructions (refrigerate and pull cake 1hr before eating). Cake was absolutely gorgeous, I was very impressed.

Now about the cake itself: the actual cake and filling was good. Was it the best I’ve ever had? No, it wasn’t, but it wasn’t bad either. My problem is with the buttercream, it was pretty bad. It tasted like pure butter, it didn’t seem to have any sugar or vanilla. It didn’t taste like typical buttercream to me, I even asked my husband if he liked it and he said no. Not sure if that’s their typical buttercream or if it was just off that day. Hopefully it’s the latter.
I did see that they offer whipped cream so if I order again I will most definitely have them use that.

I ordered my wedding cake from here I ordered an 8 inch and 210 cupcakes. We placed the order about a month before my wedding. We did a cake testing and it was an amazing experience. The gentleman that helped us out was very patient. We ended up getting 3 different flavors.
The week of my wedding we finally decided to get the cake and cupcake delivered and setup. The manager I spoke with was very nice and was able to set that up in such notice.
Everything turned out perfect and everyone loved the cupcakes. They added glitter to the frosting and it was just beautiful. All in all it was such a great experience. We already have a friend that had a friend put in an order for his bday!

Giving this place a low score… I have been here a few times and get the same results.
I do gotta say they make the most amazing Cute custom cakes BUT… The few last times the cakes have been Dry and the frosting is a little to sweet. Final results from Not coming back we found a piece of hair while cutting thru the cake. It was Gross! Sad thing a few people saw it. Last time we Ever buy from here. Not a Good Birthday cake disappointed

Personally, I don’t care too much for cake but Jesus fuggin Christ these cakes are super delish and super kawaii.
I came in here with my boyfriend to pick up a super last minute cake for my mother and they had so many great choices at the time. They had cakes from chocolate raspberry to strawberry cheesecake to lemon zest and raspberry. How cool!
The woman that was helping me decide did such a great job at describing each and every cake and also had written on my cake and surprisingly the writing was beautiful.
Went home with the lemon cake and was such a huge fan of the choices of filling it had. A slice of this cake reminded me of summer in a pastry. I really recommend getting a cake done here if you’re into aesthetics and quality. I know the cakes are kind of expensive but honesty they’re memorable.
