The food is great and the service is great it would be a great place to be if one of their employees hadn’t stolen my debit card information and racked up a 300 dollar charge to a Nordstroms in my name. Avoid at all costs. The man who stole my information was a hispanic waiter in his 20s or early 30s with tattoos. DONOTLETHIMRINGYOUUP!

It’s a Beautiful Day in Southern California, Breakfast at The Silver Dollar Pancake House, first time here, easy order although it’s busy. Baconand Egg’s w/Biscuit & Gravy. Prepared well, country style old school flavors.

Unilocal nails it again! Came here today with my Wife, Sister and BIL. We came here solely based on Unilocal reviewers and he rating. We knew it would be busy today on Fathers Day so we got here a little early and waited only 15 minutes. Food was great, service was great and we had a really good time. Stuffed our tummies and left. We had the Silver Dollar Special for 8.99 and you get almost everything with it. Totally worth the $ 9 and more! We will definitely return!

A great, old school breakfast spot! The service was superb and the food was delicious. Not much else you can ask for in a meal. Big portions and all of our food was tasty. We had the most awesome server who was attentive and personable. I had the silver dollar special …(I think) eggs, polish sausage and choice of pancakes. I chose the banana pancakes and asked her to add coconut and she was more than happy to accommodate. Mom had the same and my son had the chocolate pancakes which he LOVED! Great pricing for quality food!

Be prepared to wait. Even on weekday mornings. It is definitely worth the wait though. They have specials during the week, especially on breakfast and lunch items that are worth looking into when you’re there. It is a crowded little seating area and the service is a bit spotty, but the food is really good. I had the banana pancakes which were fantastic. The portions are big and two pancakes can easily be split between two people, so bring your appetite and patience. It’s worth the wait.

I loved the banana pancakes. They taste good and the portion is worth the price. I would have given a 5 star but it was a bit dirty and the hash brown was very very watery and the eggs flavorless. My husband had the blue berry pancakes but it also has blue berry syrup on top so it was very overpowering. We won’t be ordering that again for sure. Other than that good service and great pancakes.

Loved it!!! Amazing service, amazing food, amazing restaurant! We loved it! The owner was our waitress and even in the heart of Corona it felt small town. We were a party of 5 so our table and service had a bit of delay but we will definitely be back.

I seriously have been coming here for YEARS. I love this place. That’s an understatement… I am obsessed with this place. I’ve never had a complaint I always leave satisfied. I come here at least 2 – 3 times a month… Which is horrible haha. To all the people complaining about the space and they should relocate… Stop. That’s the one of the best things about this place!!! Been in the same place for over 30 years. Service is always great, food is always great. Their vanilla cappuccino is amazing. I just went this past Saturday and had French toast w scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. So simple and so good! For 3 people our total was $ 35. You cannot beat that!!! Give it a try!!!

If you visit Silver Dollar during weekend breakfast, prepare for a wait. Luckily, when my my husband and I recently visited Silver Dollar Pancake House there were two empty seats at the bar & we were quickly attended to. Our server was a older woman who was really nice and accommodating. We both ordered pancakes with the combo & the food was definitely tasty! Pancakes were huge & so were the sides. Coffee was hot and fresh & so was their hot cocoa. Our waitress didn’t skip a beat. This is the epitome of American diner food, which I love for breakfast. This is a place you have to visit if you’re in Corona during breakfast time. I love it here and look forward to future visits.

Best breakfast in Corona! We have been eating here for a decade now. Food quality is consistent and hasn’t changed in all the years. The staff is super friendly and always glad you came and happy to be of service. We feel like family every time we walk thru those doors. Know in advance, though, EVERYONE knows how good this place is, so expect a full house. I like going here on the weekdays mid-morning to avoid waits, but if you go on Saturday or Sunday you will be in a line. The breakfast burritos are bomb. The pancakes are awesome, tons of different flavors. Personally, I love the pineapple upside down pancakes. Those things are killer! My other half loves the corn beef hash and eggs. Our kids love everything they have eaten here. No doubt about it, great place, great food, great people! Stop by and check them out, you won’t regret it.

Came here for the first time. .Yummy! The selection of pancakes are awesome. .I wish I could try a little of each. AND. .they had thick bacon. .not that paper thin stuff you usually get at other places. Looks like I found a new breakfast spot.

The chili pancakes are made with a corn batter and came with onions. It was a heavy meal that I split between lunch and dinner. The banana pancakes were amazing, I ate off the plates of others. The Swedish pancakes are made from a heavy egg batter and by that I mean the pancake batter is more egg than flour. All in all, I’d come here again but the wait was 30 mins not bad. Unless, you’re hangry.

Visited in April 2015. After hearing my bf ramble on and on for months about the pancakes here, I finally had a chance to visit Corona to try them. The pancake selection is extensive with so many delicious-sounding and interesting options to choose. I left it to the pro and we ordered a short stack of pecan pancakes, veggie omelette, and hot chocolate. I couldn’t believe how large the«small» pancake plate is! Maybe I was overwhelmed and psyched myself out, because I usually have no problem finishing sweets, but these pancakes knocked me out! They were covered in pecans, warm and delicious caramel sauce, and heavy whipped cream. Each bite tasted like cake with the fluffy pancake base. The omelette was good too, and surprisingly large. It came with hashbrowns which I think was the perfect complement to the super sweet breakfast dessert. As the typical«greasy-spoon» breakfast joint, I should have expected portions to be huge, service a little slow, and over the top, excessive décor, but that’s what gives this place its charm. Even though the service was a bit slow, the server was super sweet. Parking is easy with a lot behind the restaurant.

Place is small and feel homey. It is always packed no matter what days or time but weekend is worse However seat at the bar is up for grab if you don’t want to wait for a table or booth. Place is also noisy and loud. Service isn’t the best. Waitress or waiter not that attentive to your need but you can always flag someone down and request. For a busy establishment there is only one stall toilet for each sex. Despite the service, the wait I have to say this place got awesome pancakes especially the banana walnuts drench with caramel sauce. Would recommend you split the pancake because it is huge and it comes with 3strips of bacon, 3 link of sausages and two eggs your way

The best breakfast I’ve had in a while. It was most of our first times there and they did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and fresh, and my coffee was never empty. We will definitely be going back. *there was a bit of a wait, but nothing major(about20 min) and completely worth it!

This recently just showed up on my radar because I was looking for a breakfast spot in Corona. Parking is easy and the restaurant seats a fair amount of people. I love the old diner feel and the aqua walls. My daughter thought it the retro touches were cute too. As most breakfast diners, the menu is overwhelming. Lots of things you want to try but didn’t bring enough people to go family style with. We ended up getting what seemed to show up on the Unilocal reviews frequently — the eggs and bacon plate. This pork lovers’ plate showed up with 8 pieces of perfectly fried bacon, eggs, crispy hashbrowns and side of carbs. I got myself the biscuit and gravy. We also ordered a biscuit without gravy and a chocolate pancake. Cause the kid had to have it. We also got coffee and hot chocolate with a ton of whipped crea. It was quite a bit of food, especially for two small girls. The egg and bacon plate was awesome, probably the best bargain at 8.99. Easily shareable between two people. The biscuits and gravy were just OK, quite dry and unappealing unless it was lathered in gravy which by the way was pretty good. The pancake was good, very chocolatey indeed. Service was good. We got checked on frequently. I would have given this place a 3 stars because it was a nice breakfast spot but didn’t serve anything that had me floored. However, the extra star had to be given due to the great value. All that stuff we had, we only paid 18 and change. Wow. I was amazed. What a great value this was.

First time here and the food tasted great. We got 2 silver dollar specials, one with Swedish pancakes and the other with Manhattan cakes. Both tasted real good! Our server was Connie and she was awesome and very nice. I was apprehensive about the sour cream and powdered sugar mix on the Manhattan cakes but I really enjoyed them.

A++++ for food B for service If you come here on a weekend, you can almost guarantee that you are going to wait at least fifteen minutes. That’s because people know to come here for delicious breakfast food. I seriously dream about the pancakes at this place. They have a variety of pancakes that they specialize in. It’s nice how diverse and unique the types of pancakes they offer are. Banana pecan pancakes — bananas are cut up and mixed into the delicious, moist batter and pecans top the pancakes and caramel is drizzled over the pancakes with mounds of whipped cream on top. This is honestly the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. They make it not overwhelmingly sweet(but it is definitely like a dessert pancake) and the pancakes are never dry. Every time I come, I order this and never regret it(until the next morning). Veggie omelette — Huge omelette that comes with mushroom, cheese, spinach, and onions. You can get a side of pancakes or hash Browns with toast or even request biscuits and gravy on the side. I got the biscuits and gravy and regretted it. Not the best side dish so I would stick with the toast next time. The omelette was good though! They don’t skimp out on the filling and it tastes fresh and delicious. The price here is fair for good food. They offer the silver dollar combo which comes with your choice of their speciality pancakes. It’s only about $ 9 and it comes with eggs, bacon, and sausages. Service here isn’t the greatest because it’s always so busy. They do try to be friendly and attentive, but it’s always just so busy for them to check on you often.
