Piss poor. The floor in the booth we were sitting at was sticky. The rib I ordered was less than ¼ think and very tough. The vegetables that came with it were like mush. Service was extremely slow and they seemed more interested in chatting at the waitress station. I sent a letter corporate and never heard a thing back. Shameful for what is normally a quality restaurant group.

Very ok. Food was good … pretty same quality at all locations. Our server forgot our oil for our bread and couldn’t open our wine bottle lol but over all ok

Always good food. Love the chicken Parmesan. I always ask for it with alfredo sauce instead, and it’s perfect.

This was a great experience. Would have given 5 stars but the food came out very staggered and the salads didn’t come out right. Our server was worth all 5 stars– Cole. He was attentive, polite and patient. He never showed any sign of being agitated with us even when some in our party were difficult. He wasn’t pushy with the wine promo as some can be, but he was very informative. We were impressed with his attitude– so respectful. It was a great experience and well be back!

As an Italian, this is not a place I would normally choose. However, we had a gift card, and Maggiano’s(also part of the Darden chain) was too far for a quick dinner. Boy were we sorry! Ordered the calamari fritti, which came out WAY overcooked and tough. My lobster ravioli was so fishy I could only eat two pieces, and someone they made the mushrooms in my son’s pasta taste bitter. Service was on par with food. Booth we sat in was torn and food of some kind was wedged in the seat. There was even vomit in the parking lot. Suffice it to say… never again.

In short :”), came to this location earlier today. The service was for the most part very good and attentive. House wine(red) was yum. Food was palatable(chicken parmesan dish), not the best that I’ve had compared to other locations. But, at least it arrived nice and hot.(Sorry, didn’t take pictures) The table cloth was filthy with today’s patrons’ food/food stains. Thankfully the drawing/coloring paper was on top of it to hide it. Ooor, better yet, why not just be sanitary and replace it with a clean table cloth.(rhetorical) My daughter’s high chair was really sticky-dirty. And, if it weren’t for the baby wipes that I had brought with me, I would’ve requested a different high-chair ;) Lastly, the women’s restroom was very clean except for the horrendous sewer smell that permeated from the inside out. Yikes Soo, with the above said, when I’m in the area again and desperate, I’ll give this location another chance.

Sad to say it but the food was awful. My server brought out a plate of pasta and it looked like it was over cooked and reheated several times. I had to send it back. After being there for over two hours, I left hungry, and didn’t order anything else.

Dropped in for a before-movie Saturday brunch of chicken parm eggs Benedict with tiramisu and a couple of their famous $ 2 Bloody Mary’s. Once again, this was another disappointing visit for the following reasons: 1. Bloody Mary had so much Tabasco or other hot sauce in it that my tongue and throat was burning. Server said there were other complaints as well. WHY, if the bloody Mary mix is already a spicy one, would you add even more hot sauce to it? Second one I had when I told them NOHOTSAUCE was perfect. 2. Eggs were over cooked with NO runny yolks, as were the potatoes that seemed like they had been sitting around for some time and were also lukewarm. 3. NO Hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict. When I asked my server she said«what’s that??» How can you be a server and never heard of that sauce. She was not familiar with Bernaise either that is commonly served with filet mignon. The kitchen responded via the server that because they only serve that meal on Saturdays and Sundays, they have no such sauce. WHAT? That is ridiculous… 4. For some reason, the server could find no one with quick change for a $ 100 bill, and I had to wait and wait for my change to arrive. Come on guys, let’s get your act together, as I’m sure I was not the only person who paid with a large bill. The only highlight of the meal was the dessert, but even that was way too soggy on the bottom, as other Unilocalers have mentioned in their reviews… After squandering my $ 25 on this visit, I may not be back, as I have much better results 50 feet away at Chili’s, where the prices are more reasonable and the food is more consistent.

First and last. Slow to get seated on a Tuesday at 1:30 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. Server forgot I ordered gluten free pasta so the meal was delayed twenty minutes. The meal came and the chicken was over cooked, perhaps they reheated the chicken. My boyfriends pasta was cold arrabiatta. I felt bad because it was my idea. I decided to speak to the manager Javier and he did try to address the situation professionally. Maybe, I’ll return on a better day after the holidays

I feel as though I’m experiencing a bad breakup. I use to come to this location on a biweekly basics for year’s. After tonight’s main entrée, and the 3 previous ones. I’m sorry to say that our relationship has run it’s course. For year’s you had my full attention with your Chicken Scaloppini. Aww, the slightly fried tender pieces of chicken, in a fantastic butter sauce, with capers, artichokes, prosciutto bits all with a side off perfectly cooked angel hair pasta. Yummmm. Then there were the baked pasta dishes that lacked any flavor. You can only add so much grated parmasan cheese for flavor. The meatballs that were served cool to the touch & had to be sent back. My biggest heartache is over my favorite dish the Chicken Scaloppini. Last 4 times, I can honestly say it’s been very disappointing. Over cooked(almost mushy) pasta. Lack of flavor. Under cooked artichokes, and once as though they forgot to add the butter sauce all together. I’ve finally come to the conclusion that it’ll never be the same as it once was. I will have to find another buttery pasta dish at another restaurant. The appetizers were ok. The Bibb & Blue was yummy. But again very dry. Had to request more dressing. BUT…One thing great did come out of this meal… your desserts are amazing! The lemon cake was absolutely delicious! Not too tart, and very moist. triple layers of yummyness. The chocolate cake again was amazing. The center is extremely moist with a hard crust served with Hot fudge & whipped cream. Another huge winner! We’ll definitely be back again, but only for desserts & coffee. The service from Kristina, was great. I will truly miss eating food from here …:(because of the convince and I truly did love most of your pasta dishes for many years.

We were on the way back to my girlfriend’s place in Diamond Bar this past weekend when we hit some really rough traffic on the 15 North — and seeing how our stomachs were grumbling(not to mention needing to use the facilities), we pulled into this Romano’s Macaroni Grill for some dinner and to wait out the traffic. It had been a long while since I’d been to this chain; the last time was with my ex, and I remembered that the place had some great tableside bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. Fortunately, this was still the case — the bread was nicely toasted and the rosemary baked inside gave out a great aroma. As we didn’t have lunch, we decided to start with the two appetizers for $ 9 promotion they had going on; we opted for the Goat Cheese Peppadew Peppers and the Loaded Fries. The peppadew peppers came in a row of six; these small bites were pretty good, with the goat cheese stuffing and panko bread crumbs giving the sweet peppers a bit of oomph. The Loaded Fries… think of it as an Italian-American take on carne asada fries, with crispy prosciutto, gorgonzola, parmesan, mozzarella cheese sauce, and calabrese peppers. Unfortunately, the toppings were centered around the middle of the app, and they hadn’t blended into the bottom, leading it to be a bit uneven in flavors. For our main dishes, I went with the Classic Italian Bake(rigatoni with beef, veal, and ricotta meatballs and Italian sausage, served with roasted tomatoes, tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, and basil) and my lady ordered the Penne Rustica(penne pasta served with roasted chicken, shrimp, and prosciutto mixed with parmesan cheese and rosemary cream sauce). Now, one would think that with the price points for each item($ 16.99 or so each), the dishes would be about the size of a Small from Bucca di Beppo and large enough for sharing. Instead, imagine our chagrin at seeing that our dishes were made for single dining; while they certainly were delicious(in fact, I thought Kat’s dish was better than mine), I was expecting a bit larger portion. The ambiance was hit or miss; whenever our server Anthony came to our table, he was pretty attentive. However, as it seemed like a busy night, he was being run ragged between our section(and the fact there were quite a few large parties going on didn’t help matters much). While the restaurant was pretty comfy, the restrooms were actually mislabeled… fortunately, no accidents here! Although this visit wasn’t too bad overall — consider this a 3.5 star review — our visits to Romano’s Macaroni Grill will be few and far between.

Went with the son & granddaughters a couple months ago. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu has been updated & improved since we’ve been last. I say give it a try & see for yourself. The appetizers were great. I had the pork shank & it was amazing! Ate off of it for 2 days.

We tried Romano’s after a period of time to see if they had improved in the food and prices. The food is still unexciting and the prices if anything have gone up. We had a party of 12 and the server, Anthony did a good job keeping everyone happy with refills and correcting the mistakes made with 2 of the dinners. Unfortunately no one found their entrée to be more then average in taste. The portions are on the small side and I thought $ 5 for a bowl of soup that consisted of about 10 spoonfuls of tomato soup which tasted like the soup from Trader Joe’s to be a little high. The restaurant was about half full on a Thursday night which is not a good sign they are bringing people back in. Unlike some other dinners we were greeted by a hostess who seated us right away. I based the rating on the value vs quality of the experience.

Ah yes, that’s why there are so few of these places left. We figured, we haven’t been in a while, so why not go. Most of these are gone from where we live… and yeah, I can see why. While Olive Garden is corporate slop in a bowl, it’s amazing corporate slop in a bowl compared to this place. We arrived to a manager greeting us at the door that looks like he’s in the wrong isle at Walmart. I’m amazed at how offputting a first impression at the restaurant door can be sometimes and this was certainly one of those«Oh, so this wont be that great» type of moments. We sat down and noticed a distinct lack of people in the restaurant. Nothing like starting your meal off with stale bread and ominously dirty bottles of balsamic vinegar on the table. Continue with uneventful drinks from apparently inexperienced staff that don’t know if they can make a regular bellini… Bring on the utterly flavorless sauces(with no body or creaminess to them) and chewy pasta. Lets splurge and get $ 3 worth of chicken in the pasta… that arrives cut almost deli thin, overcooked, and lacks anything tasting of poultry. Lastly, let us finish with bland deserts that have not even a slightly flavored chain restaurant ‘façade’ to them and instead are just bland and pathetic. Upon leaving, a bus boy did smile at us and thank us for coming in… promote him to greeter/manager and make the manager a bus boy… Long story short– when a place makes you WANT to go to Olive Garden, something is very, very wrong.

I like this place, especially if you get the $ 9 value meals. It was plenty, added a small salad, and beverage and it was enough. Two of us got the $ 9 meals and were satisfied, and even had the leftovers for dinner the second night. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely go again. My five dollar signs affordability rating with 5 dollar signs being an extremely high end restaurant. I give it: $- $$ dollar signs with the value meals, $$ — $$$ if you don’t get the value meals.

$ 7 lunch meal in 7 minutes!(There’s also a $ 10 dinner meal option, too) I love the idea of a quick lunch! The only issue, it’s no EVERY menu item. Only a few select items fall into the 7 for 7 category. Good thing I wasn’t in a rush so I ended up ordering from the main menu. The bruschetta appetizer was really delicious. My favorite of the day. It’s different from what I actually ate in Italy, but the taste was a close second. The lunch portions are surprisingly big. I had leftovers to take(and even ate the rest for dinner the same night! winning.) I ordered the baked ravioli and there were a least 15 or so pieces and my friend ordered some Alfredo dish. I actually liked hers more than mine. It was creamy without making your overly sick.(Some restaurants make their alfredo sauces incredibly cheesy/creamy) The kids meals were HUGE! There’s definitely plenty to split or share if you are dining with 1 – 2 kids. I ordered the chicken with spagetti & brocolini. My daughter loved the noodles with this dish. For $ 6, it was a winning dish. Of course, you can’t forget the fresh foccacia bread! Although, I thought most RMG offered balsamic with it, but we didn’t have on our table except olive oil. No problems with service and was happy the bathroom had a changing table.

The servers were peasant but there were several problems with our meal. My dad and I had some hanger 24 beers, give them a shot, it’s a tasty beer. Bead — The hot bread is fantastic. Calamari Fritti — Deep fried to death. Dry, burnt looking, like chewing on rubber. The second order that came out was almost as bad as the first. We gave up and ate them anyway. Goat Cheese Peppadew Peppers — Delicious, the best thing everyone ate all night. If you’re going to eat here I highly recommend you try these. Stuffed Mushrooms — Weird, strange flavor. The macaroni grille had the best stuffed mushrooms I’ve had at any restaurant many years ago. They changed their menu and put these tiny odd flavored mushrooms on the menu. All these years later I still can’t get over it. They had probably the best mushroom dish I’ve ever had in any restaurant and they swapped that decedent dish out for a vastly inferior dish. Cremini Pork Shank — I wanted to eat this but after our order was put in I was informed that it had been 86ed. Calabrese Steak — I ordered a mid rare steak with all vegetables because the pork was 86ed. I got a steak on its way to being well done with a tiny amount of pink in the very center. It was served with potatoes despite ordering it with all vegetables. So much of our order had been sent back that I just gave up and ate it. Grilled Salmon — Was cooked to death and sent back. Lemon Passion — The girls at the table liked this. New York Style Cheesecake — My dad said you could use this cheesecake as mortar to lay bricks. He ate two bites of it. Homemade Chocolate Cake — The best thing on the plate was the whipped cream. The chocolate cake was dry. This meal was filled with errors, the kitchen is a mess. The servers and bartender were kind.

It had been a while since my last visit to a Macaroni Grill and came in and sat at the bar. We had Kyle help us out and he was a great guy with knowledge and on point service. I had mentioned to him that I missed the Vodka Rustica and he was able to get the chef to make it for me. I was really happy with flavor and suggestions on wine etc. Great experience will be coming out again.

The food here is so-so at best. I always leave Mac Grill disappointed. For good Italian food go to Olive Garden or something. This place usually has a long wait, and is overpriced«okay» food. They don’t have anything on the menu that makes me crave their food. It all tasted kind of blah in my opinion. Just hit the Chili’s right next door for good food! The best part about this place is drawing on the table.
