They should not even deserve an star. Horrible customer service. We were at the reception, waiting to be seated for about 10 mins.– a really 10 mins.– no one from the restaurant came to greet us or even to say that they will be with us after whatever they were doing. We could see the waitress getting drinks for her table and another one putting a take out in the bag. They could see us, but they preferred to avoid eye contact and seat us. We try to go to local and small business restaurants to keep the money within our city. Oh well, some businesses don’t deserve our money at all. So we decided to not stay where we are not welcomed and we went to another restaurant to spend our money.

Great food, prices as to be expected from a Persian restaurant, staff is friendly but service could be better. Absolutely love that it has a drive-thru! Been here a plethora of times and always come here to celebrate birthdays and/or anniversaries. They also have live music and belly dancing on certain days. Chicken soltani is my favorite! I used to LOVE their Hot sauce but people complained about how hot it was so they made it into less than a mild sauce AND they started charging for it. Very disappointed with that. if you can’t handle a ‘hot’ sauce, don’t order it instead of complaining it’s ‘hot’

Went to this place for dinner recently with cousins. It was late Sunday night and we were very hungry after a day in mountains. The place was not crowded so we were seated right away. There was plenty of parking available outside. The restaurant was decorated elegantly and the service was outstanding. I was very pleased with Lamb Shish Kebobs and other entrees. My cousins loved their food as well. Will definitely stop by again when I am in the area.

DONOTORDERONLINE! I ordered vegetarian dishes online but on their end came up as the meat versions. Being a vegetarian and biting into a huge chunk of beef is disgusting. I called them and they sent a driver to come retrieve the food in order to get a refund. Funny this is, I still haven’t received the refund on my credit card and have not heard back from management. Some things are way overpriced for the size of portion.

Kabob never disappoints me. I order the chicken tender with half House salad and each time it comes out Great. I love how they updated the patio now so it’s open to have some friends for a dinner by the fireplace. I would recommend you order the hummus to your order too.

Waited 45 minutes just to get a table then 30 minutes to get the food! The food here is just okay, doesn’t have any taste compared to other Persian restaurants, the rice wasn’t event cooked right. The beef and chicken skewers are small. If you want good local Persian food just go down the street to Rumies!

I live in LA and was visiting my Iranian aunt in Corona and I have to say I’ve never had Persian food as good as this in Los Angeles. Even Rafi’s doesn’t compare to the Persian stews and their rice dishes. Now I’ll have to drive in from LA.

Horrible. I want my money back! I ordered a filet mignon bowl and the amount of meat it had was a joke. It was like 3 little scraps from someone else’s plate! My chicken plate was overly burnt and there was no garlic sauce. Wow not worth $ 24!!! I’m so mad. True kitchen is so much better and cheaper. If you’re out of sauce that someone wants, you shouldn’t be charging for another sauce. The chicken was gross. Ruined my day.

I was so excited to try this place. I’m sorely disappointed. I got the lamb chops($ 17.99) and a pomegranate Margarita($ 7.50). Margarita was decent, and the lamb chops were well seasoned, however, the waitress had asked if medium well was ok. I asked for medium rare. When I received my meal, it was cooked medium well so I let my server know so she could rectify it. I wasnt even upset. Until i got it back. When I received the newly cooked lamb back, it was to my surprise that it had come out a little above rare. Chewy and so hard to swallow I couldn’t even finish it. The cook must have been offended because I also got less of a portion and a bad cut of meat full of tendon and fat. I had high hopes for this place as I travel through this area often but unfortunately it looks like it will be another ‘one and done’.

The bread brought out by the waitress should have been a sign the food will be tasteless… The waitress brought out a few slices of something that looked like flat pita bread… extremely dry and hard bread… I ordered a wrap and same thing… the bread was the same… very dry and hard… one bite and the whole wrap fell apart. Had to eat most of the wrap with my fork and it was mostly dressing and largely cut vegetables

Got the chicken shish kabob plate, everything was really good! It is pricey though. I’m not giving more stars because, first off they took forever to get my order. I ordered take-out and was literally seated in their waiting area for 40 minutes, with no other customers visibly waiting. Then, my kabob was a bit on the burnt side. perhaps explained why they took so long? They are generous with the rice though, I still don’t think the plate should have been $ 15. Overall taste of everything was good, I also got a side of hummus and that was good. not great, but good. I honestly would rather go to Rumi’s down the street. All in all, not too good of a first time experience and pricey. I don’t think I may come back, I might opt for Rumi’s instead, it is worth a try though. There was a nice Ferrari parked out front, perhaps the owner? If so, their service should have been top notch at this moment in time in which it was not.

So this used to be a GREAT place to eat! However over the past year or so the amount of food given and the quality has steadily declined while the price has increased. Tonight we ordered the juicy chicken and fessenjoon — the fessenjoon is great– we learned a long time ago to order it vegetarian– If you get it with chicken the chicken is dry and has much less fessenjoon — the juicy chicken while it tastes good — the amount given for the price is a joke. It was literally 3 small nuggets of chicken and a box full of rice. Not anywhere near worth the $ 9.00 they charge.

If you have been anywhere near the 91 Fwy and Main St in Corona you know there is some major construction going on. I have been avoiding this area of Corona like the plague but it keeps popping up when I am searching for places to eat on Unilocal.I need to give shout out to my Unilocal peeps, Xandra M., Kim O., and Wendy B. for their awesome reviews. I recently got turned onto Mediterranean food and I love it. I always think about making tacos with the different meats. Walked in on a Friday evening and they had live music playing. I had to take a second look when I walked past the musicians because they were twins. The music was a nice touch. They played a variety of hits along with traditional music you may here in a Mediterranean/Persian restaurant. We opted to sit in the front dining area near the entrance that was further away from the music. We had the kids with us and they were not digging the music too much. I liked it but if you have little ones then you know what I mean. Our server, Carmen was very nice. She greeted us in Spanish and we just kept it going. We thought it was funny because the English and Spanish kept going back and forth. It didn’t bother us. She took our order right away and brought us drinks. They have a full bar if you’re interested in drinks. I went with one Heineken($ 4.25). They do bring out some flat bread with butter and a raw onion wedge. I googled the onion wedge thing and apparently you can make a buttered bread with onion taco; at least that is what I did. Google also said to eat the onion in between bites of food from the main dish. Started with a large hummus($ 5.99). The menu states small and regular but the regular is the large. The hummus was tasty and perfect with the flat bread. The wife went with the Shish kabob chicken(14.99) and added a half house salad(3.50). The chicken was very tender and had a great taste from the marinade. I had the Filet Mignon Barg(17.59) with a half house salad(3.50). The meat was very tender and fell apart as soon as I touched it. It was the perfect amount of food. The plates are served with rice but I just had a few bites. The salad was my favorite part. The house salad had raisins, dates, walnuts, and feta cheese. Paired with the house dressing/house balsamic it gave the salad a perfect balance of all the flavors. Total for the meal was $ 55, which is very inexpensive by our standards for such great food and service. Hopefully, I can work this place into my rotation. They do have a drive thru if you are interested and they do have take-out. Happy eating!

One of our fave places to dine when we lived in Corona was Kabob Hutt. There is a drive-thru which isn’t obvious unless you’ve been here before. Today I thought it was closed cuz the sign appeared blacked out(or perhaps super dirty), and the menu was covered in a green tarp. Cars were in their lot so I got outta the car. An hour and 40 minutes into my commute from Orange County, it wasn’t a bad idea to break and eat properly at a table. It’s clean, welcoming, and in it’s own way — pretty when I walk in. This restaurant has 3 seating areas: private party partially closed off, main dining, patio seating and tables. Patio has four soft cushion chairs surrounding a stone fire pit. I’m sure that’s the best spot outside on a weekend evening. I ask about their drive-thru; still open! They’re changing prices and the task hasn’t been completed yet. I’m seated in the main dining which gave me a chance to capture their charming interior décor. Again I’ve arrived before the dinner crowd. Menu given to me was a two sided flip menu encased in a glass frame with smooth edges. Thoughts: allows menu to have longer paper life, and easy spray and wipe clean glass. Cool… Flat bread with a quarter raw onion and really cold butter is placed in front of me. Never got why cold butter was served, rather than room temp. Plus points on the raw onion… clears the sinuses. Linner was hand-rolled chicken with brown rice, side of garden salad w/creamy vinaigrette. Left the dressing alone. Squirted the lemon wedge all over my food instead — yeah that works. I hadn’t started eating yet cuz you know I gots to take a photograph. What a huge portion! Feeling full already admiring the plate. Hey, but that’s good cuz it’s worth it :-D The salad was extra though.(I have reserved opinions about salad costs.) Ultimately, deliciousness of the food here never fails. If you like exotic flavor or are adventurous in your eating choices, I recommend Kabob Hutt. Their menu includes cocktails and desserts. New stuff: Hookah and belly dancing! Must be fun here on weekends!(You ever tried belly dancing? Figure 8 movements using only hips. Try it — good workout!) Credits to the one lady serving 5 tables when I left. Docking a star for the drive-thru confusion. Otherwise, for their food, hard-workers, pleasant servers, restaurant accommodation available, and entertainment; it’s a cool place to hangout and enjoy some. On a trailing note, I was given a butter mint with my tab. I actually needed more than one mint…

This place has been one of our go-to’s. Absolutely our our favorite place for Mediterranean food. I love the Persian hot tea. For starters, I suggest the tadigh(burnt bottom steamed rice) with the 3 stews. For main dish, we order either the chicken koobideh or the beef koobideh and we substitute the rice for house salad to cut back on carbs. My favorite dessert has got to be the coconut mango. TODIEFOR. The traffic heading here is bearable because the friendly service you get at Kabob Hut is worth the drive.

I really wanted to like it here. I tried very hard but my experience with the food did not live up to the Unilocal reviews. I ordered to go. Walked in and was greeted nicely. I ordered the juicy chicken and a side of hummus. The juicy chicken was 4 pieces of delicious chicken on top of extremely bland steamed rice. It was all packed in a to-go box, and i mean packed. It was 85% rice & the rest chicken. No sauce but yummy lemon wedges to add flavor. It came with cold, thin flat bread. The hummus was good. But for $ 25 i wouldn’t go back. The ambience was pretty. Very artistic and seems like a great date place or venue for family dinners.

Gosh I really feel foolish for not have written a review before. We’ve been coming here for years. All their dishes are delicious. I tend to order their tenderloin chicken salad. It’s on a bed of very fresh romaine lettuce, sliced crispy cucumbers and sliced fresh tomatoes never soggy. And it comes with this delicious creamy balsamic dressing. Yum! My husband on the other hand goes ALLOUT. From their steak/chicken kabobs, humus and so much more. Their rice is so good too. He’s a big foodie, and always says their food is always very fresh! Just try something you’ll be thankful you did ;)

Came here for a business lunch and am so glad that I did! The restaurant is a classic Persian restaurant with the most delicious kabob meats I’ve ever had. The best place I’ve ever had Kabob this good was in Glendale at Raffi’s Place — maybe some of you know where that is. Since we were a larger group, we ordered family sized platters which came with 4 – 5 meats and 2 large types of rice. The filet mignon slices were my favorite and the dill rice was amazing! Parking can get a little busy here so beware of that!
