Eclipse Medical Group

I thought this eclipse medical group was going to be a good medical group for my daughter but they have disappointed me so much every time i call to schedule my daughter in for an appointment they are fully booked and i can never get her in for a dr visit!!! I 100% agree with crystal S the girls do not do their job in putting the referrals in its been 2 months since i have been waiting for my daughter to be ref out to a specialist and nothing… This medical group is disappointing

My 3 children go to Eclipse Medical Group and have been going there for about 2.5 years now. Their doctor was Dr. Shih (such an amazing doctor. loved him!!) but he no longer practices there and is hours away now so now my kids basically just get bounced around from several different doctors in the office. Even when you have a scheduled appointment the wait times are awful! However, I would say the only good thing about this office is each room has toys in it for your children to play while waiting. All my children have seen or still go see specialists so we have to get referrals from their primary pediatrician to see a specialist. I cannot tell you how many times they either forget to put the referral in and or they don’t communicate to let me know the status of the referral. I’m always the one following up with them– getting results when it should be their job to communicate with me regarding other specialists, insurance, calling back when they say they will — etc! I never had this problem with their previous doctor 2.5 years ago and I would of stayed with them, however, my children’s insurance changed and that group no longer accepted it which forced me to start going here. Unfortunately I would have given 4 stars had Dr. Shih still be at Eclipse medical group but since he’s not anymore and based off the current doctors in the group and their office staff they deserve a 2 star rating at best. Once my children get situated with all their referrals, I will be looking for a new doctor and group.

I have been taking my kids to Eclipse for about three years now. I love Dr. Allen Shih who sadly is no longer practicing at this office. The doctors and staff are very friendly and my kids like it here. There is usually a less than 10 minute wait time which is nice. They make same day appointments as well!
