Thank you to Tracy who cut and conditioned my hair today! I came in on a Groupon, I don’t spend a lot of money on myself and beauty stuff so it was nice to have such a positive experience. The salon is meticulously clean and in top shape and Tracy is very knowledgeable. My hair looks and feels great and the scalp massage was a bonus!

After years of getting my hair cut at the mall-​strip discount chain stores (with a coupon!) I decided to live a little and find a really great salon.
My experience was worth every penny and then some! The shampoo and cut included a consultation, with shampoo neck and scalp massage blow dry. They were super friendly and put 110 percent into giving me the best customer experience possible. And because it was not a big crowd that day they really took their time with my cut. Gave me a generous goodie bag with samples and coupons to take home
I am sure to become a loyal customer!

I’ve been coming here for the past 3 months, and I have yet to entertain the thought of getting my hair Cut and styled anywhere else.

I am disappointed with my hair color. I used the $ 85 groupon for cut, condition, color and highlights. They are very friendly there and I got an appt without any problem. My hair was a light/​med brown. I wanted light brown with highlights. I specifically said I do not want dark hair with blond highlights as I hate that look. Guess what I got, dark brown hair with very blond highlights.

I loved this place! I had a young gentlemen named Davey! He knew exactly how I wanted my hair and suggested new and better ways and hair styles! GREAT customer service!

I saw Brianne last week for a cut, full color, highlights and toner. I asked to get my red out so I can get back to a golden blonde. She knew exactly what she was doing and is a color master! I LOVE my new color and fresh cut. I told her to only take off what was dead because I wanted to save my length, and she listened. She listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for! She totally took her time & even called her client scheduled after me to come in a little later. Super cute and comfortable shop! Even got a little gift bag at the end with a $ 5 gift card for next time and some nice samples. Traci & Brianne were both so friendly. Love the vibe & can’t wait to go back!

I called to make appointment for a haircut and deep conditioner treatment. Tracy (the owner) was really nice on the phone and got me 2 pm appointment on Saturday with Brianne. I mentioned a deal from Groupon and she honored it which was really cool (I think that’s only apply to first time customer).
On the day of, upon entered a salon I was greeted by Tracy and Brianne. I showed up 10 minute early (2 pm appointment) and Brianne (stylist) imediately apologized to me that she was running late and it would take about 20 minute for her to finish the job with prior customer. They offered water, coffee and magazines which I thought it was neat. The salon was cleaned and well organized.
Anyway, Brianne finally got to work on my hair at 2:30 pm. The hair treatment and scalp massage were nice. She took almost 45 minute to cut my hair which I thought it was a bit slow and another 15 minute to blow dry/​style. I did not get out of there until 4:30 pm.
The result? I love it! I got the hair I wanted. Brianne was really nice and took time to cut my hair. 4 stars since I had to wait 30 minute as I mentioned earlier.

I came in with a groupon, which can be risky business, as I’ve been in situations where service was meh because I wasn’t paying full price (which is duuuumb, because I will always tip as if it was full price if I’m satisfied).
Anyway! If you’re coming in with the groupon, or wanting to come in for the first time, you will not be disappointed! Actually, I keep talking as if I used the groupon. I did not. Call them before making the groupon purchase, and they will honor the groupon price (I guess it’s better for them this way?)
Brianne was my stylist and she gave the best scalp massage I’ve ever had at a salon. So stinkin’ relaxing. She’s very meticulous, inspecting each follicle with each snip. I felt like a piece of art when she was done. You get a goody bag with a $ 5 gift card at the end, which was a cute touch. Emails are also sent out with sweet deals. Considering how generous they are with coupons and how satisfied I was at the end, I’ll likely return!

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I will be starting chemotherapy soon. In the event that I lose my hair, I want to have a natural wig that I can fall back on for those times I venture outside my home. I spoke with Tracy, the owner, over the telephone to obtain some information. She was extremely polite, warm and helpful. We made an appointment for me to come in to the salon for a complimentary consultation. I received and email and text to verify my appointment with the address, telephone number date and time. Tracy verbally gave me easy directions to the salon. Once I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Tracy who introduced me to Brianne, her daughter, who was equally as lovely. Brianne took my grown daughter and myself to a clean, quiet and private room with approximately 75 wig designs to choose from. I found Brianne to not only be quite informative and knowledgeable but she also did not apply pressure for me to purchase the most expensive types of wigs. I found all the wigs to be moderately priced. She encouraged and assisted me in trying on as many wigs as I needed to see and several times, if need be. She took thorough notes throughout the consultation, allowing me to relax and have a little fun. Now, when and if I lose my hair, I will only need to make a telephone call to Tracy or Brianne, give my credit card number and my wigs will arrive within 5 business days to their salon and a wonderfully supportive friend of mine will pick them up for me. Thank you ladies. You are wonderful.

Moved to Corona 4 years ago and have been apprehensive to try a new salon. Driving to Los Alamitos for a cut is just not practical so I tried Sugar Skulls after reading the rave reviews. So happy I did! Brianne was great; the scalp massage was heavenly. She took great time cutting and drying my very long, thick hair — it looks and feels like silk. I will definitely be back and share cards with friends and coworkers.

Just got my hair done by Brianne! Girl is amazing! Completely changed my dull, damaged hair to what I wanted! This will be my new salon and Brianne will be my new stylist! Thank you!

I had purchased a Groupon for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment and called to book an appointment. Brianne took my call and checked to see what time would be available for me to come in. After agreeing to a late afternoon appointment, she was good about obtaining my contact information, such as cell phone number, cell provider and email address. Afterwards, I immediately received two texts and two emails to confirm my hair appointment.
Upon arriving a half hour early, I was greeted and then offered coffee, tea, and water. It was a cozy and inviting atmosphere to be in and their updated magazine assortment kept me occupied as I waited for my appointment.
Brianne personally introduced herself and once seated in her chair, she asked me what I loved about my hair. When I told her I didn’t like anything and explained that I wanted to grow my hair out and wanted layers and some volume in my hair again.
She did well shampooing my hair and the head and scalp massage was so relaxing. Afterwards, the deep conditioner treatment made me feel even better. Oh, and I loved how good my hair smelled afterwards too!
The haircut, blowout and styling made me feel refreshed again. Brianne tried a couple of hair products on me to give my hair volume and lift. I loved them enough to buy them to try at home. I was very satisfied with the service and value I got. Thank you Groupon and thank you to Brianne at Sugar Skulls Beauty Lab in Corona. I will definitely return! :)

So this is my first Unilocal review and I am so excited to be doing it for this place! I had the absolute privilege of having my done by Brianne. I have never had so many compliments on my hair in my life.
First off l, you are treated like royalty when you get there. Immediately you are acknowledged and asked if you need anything; tea, water, coffee, snacks. I suggest you take them, These people are professionals and take pride in there work, YOU ARE GOING TO BE THERE FOR A WHILE. but it’s cool because it’s so laid back there the time will just fly, bring a book or an iPad and let the good times roll because your going to look absolutely fabulous coming out.
This place is a little tricky to find especially if you don’t know your way around Corona but once you find it you’ll never forget.
I have never been one of those people who habitually get there hair did every couple months but after coming here and having such a wonderful experience I’m definitely willing to commit.

This will be my first review on Unilocal,ever… which is strange because I tend to try new places after I have read other people’s reviews. With that said, I hope that my review will help others who are on the fence make a good choice!
I purchased a living social deal last week and used it that Friday. I was nervous at first because I paid only half the price or so for full color, full highlights, a haircut, and a deep conditioning treatment. Granted, I paid a little extra because my hair needed some color correcting. Anyway, what a great deal, right?
This salon is quite new and is very quaint and cozy with only 6 stations. I prefer it that way because its less chaotic and I feel more attended to. Further, the employees are very friendly and treat you like a valued customer, which is definitely a plus.
My appointment was with Heather and she was beyond accommodating and talented. I came in with an overgrown a-​line cut and asked her to keep as much length as possible as I am trying to grow it out. I also showed her a picture of how I wanted it colored using a bayalage highlight technique. She understood what I wanted and made sure I was happy throughout the (nearly) 5 hour process. Those hours flew by because the owner as well as Heather were making sure I had water and snacks to make the wait a little less daunting. My hair turned out to be above my expectations and I LOVE IT! Its so much more voluminous and the color is playful and it suits me.
One last thing: Because I was at the salon for a while I was able to see all the stylists work and witness their finished products. All three stylists are seriously experts at hair. Everyone’s color turned out so beautiful and left with cuts to compliment! Once they put up a gallery, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Bottom line: Visit this salon! you will not regret it :)

Tracy has been doing my hair now for 8 yrs. She is as good as they get! Not only is she an expert at color & cuts but also knows how to make your time with her relaxing & special. When you are there, she teats you like royalty. Shop is clean & inviting and her attention is always on her client. Tracy is always warm & cheerful. Referred a friend who now looks 20 yrs younger with her new cut & color & is a new, forever client of hers!
