There is definitely a lack of flavor in their pizza dough. It’s not the worst but for price should be better

love, love this pizzeria !! They have been in business for years that says a lot about their business. The pizza is simple yet scrumptious! one of my favorite pizzerias in town.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with this place. In a neighborhood lacking in good pizza, my expectations weren’t high going in… But I was still left disappointed. I got a chicken ceasar slice and pepperoni slice. Both were relatively small and not terribly appealing looking. Both were really not tasty. I figured they were selling their slices on the cheap and therefore cutting corners… But nope. They price their slices as if they’re quality NY slices… Which they’re far from. I won’t be returning.

Well I recently tried out Corona Gyro and found out that place a big let down. So I decided to write a review on Dream Pizza. This place has been in that location for many years. I grew up going to this place. They have many different dishes in this place. They have Lasagna, Stuffed Shells, other types of pastas, different subs(meatball, chicken, etc), rolls, Calzone, Pizza and Gyro. Now I know growing up that the pizza in this place was very good. But in all honesty I haven’t ate one of their pizza in about a good eight years. The reason for this is there gyro is so damn good you really don’t want to taste anything else. Honestly I’m surprised this place doesn’t already have hundreds of reviews. Let alone that it doesn’t even show up when I searched it up on Unilocal. The guys who work here are really friendly. Whenever I go here the owner(or manager, not really sure what is his position… but he has been there forever.) is always like«Hey, it is my friend. I remember you from when you were this tall.» The kind of talk that I would have received from my old barber. He has even given me free sodas with my order from time to time. It seems like he only focuses on gyro because they usually have two workers making pizza when customers come in but when they order gyros he always comes out of the back and prepares them. The guys who make the pizza have always been very friendly as well… although it seems they cycle through a lot of workers. These guy make a lot of variety of pizza but their gyros are only made out of beef. For service these guys get a 5⁄5. They heat up the pita bread in the oven after wards they put that delicious beef, they pile a boat load of beef on their gyros. I sometimes take some beef out of it when I get home so that I can eat it later on in the day. The taste is perfect. They leave it until it gets nice and crispy on the outside but the other side of the beef is soft. The beef is so tasty sometimes wish I could have these guys working in my house all day just making that delicious beef. Then the man proceeds to add white onions– yum– lettuce and diced tomato. Every time I order gyro, he always asks if I want sauce on the side, which is great so that I can get home and add the sauce on my own and won’t have soggy pita bread. These guys are not cheap with the ingredients. They give you plenty of everything. These guys also sell Garlic Knots, which are the bomb. It has enough garlic but not an overwhelming amount of it. They sell it 5 for a dollar, which is average in Corona. You can not go wrong with this place. They have such a great gyro. It’s a shame that most people don’t know about this place even though its in a busy area. Every time I bring my buddies some gyros they fall in love with this place and soon after they start going here on a regular basis. Hopefully this place stays around for many years to come so I can continue to show people what a good gyro taste like. Hopefully their quality remains the same, as well. I recommend that you come and try this place out whenever you are in Junction. You will not be disappointed and your mouth will thank you. By the way, for those of you that look at the ratings on the door, these guys have an A. **Just a reminder, I’m rating this place on its gyro alone. I have not tried their pizzas in a very long time and don’t know if they taste the way they used to. The place is always packed so I’m assuming their pizzas are very good. **
