Well I’ve tried twice to reach out to this company. Have left two messages within a week and received no response. I’ll give a more complete review if I hear from them.

My septic tank got backed up and wasn’t draining out properly, so I knew I had a major problem. I had the tank pumped and we went into minimal water usage mode to give us some time to sort it out. Then I dug up both septic tank openings and could see the drain side wasn’t flowing out. I rented a pipe camera and ran it down the output pipe from the septic tank to see what was blocking the drain field. Instead of having several long drain pipes, I had one short pipe that was crushed by tree roots! At this point it’s beyond my ability to fix, so I started calling septic companies in Riverside to ask about what I could do. I had five different guys come out and they all agreed on one thing, I needed a new drain field. But they each suggested different types of drain fields to install. The one that stood out was CJ Tractor and Septic. Nick came out and was very understanding about my difficult situation and took plenty of time to explain each of the different options, their pluses and minuses, and the approximate cost of each. I felt that Nick was very open to discuss them and wasn’t trying to sell me on anything, just giving good advice that made sense. We decided on a new drain field that would not impact my yard and not require the old drain field to be removed, something none of the others even thought of. The estimate included a brand new double-size drain field with upgraded pipe, repairing a hole in the tank, installing a riser on the output side(it was missing), and the price was better then all the rest! Plus they are located near me in Woodcrest and I like to support local companies. Nick and his father came out with their own heavy equipment a few days later and had everything done in one day. Having a drain field twice the size of what I needed for a few hundred dollars more was something I suggested for peace of mind going forward. They worked hard and did a great job, didn’t damage anything or make a mess, and even put the extra dirt in a place I needed filled. I was very satisfied with the result and felt I got a good deal — $ 4000 for everything. They got it done quickly and worked around our schedule and were very nice to deal with. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone needing septic work or excavation.

We just had a mobile home setup in a rural area and water was leaking from the drain line. Called a few plumbers and Roto-Rooter was able to come out within the hour. They came and looked at our backyard and said it would be at least $ 235 to snake the line, run a camera down it, and tell us what the problem was. I said that sounds expensive, but was assured that it had to be done immediately and that once it was done we would at least be able to use the showers and sinks. Desperate, I agreed. 235 dollars later they said it would cost $ 1800 more to fix the problem. I told them thanks but no thanks. Thankfully, we found CJ’s Septic on Craigslist and they are awesome. Called them up, explained our issue, texted Nick some photos of the backyard, and he quoted me $ 550 max for the exact same job Roto-Rooter wanted $ 1800 for. Next morning Nick came out and spent a good two or three hours digging and probing to locate the drain lines. Turned out he needed some more fittings, and would have to do a lot more digging, so we agreed on putting the job off until the next day. Nick came back out, a friend next door trenched out the dirt for us, and Nick had it all wrapped up in a few hours. Drains are flowing great and now we can finally move into our new house. I’ll be recommending CJ’s Septic to everyone in our area. Can’t say enough good about them.
