I was a walk in and Mario in the back left corner helped me. Worst mistake of my life. Cut me three times. His equipment are super old. Don’t go unless you going to the guy with the gold watch. He also charged me after he cut me multiple times lol

Went to get my fro cut and faded up, Late Nite hooks it up every time, his line up is on point! And the vibe and energy in there is great, just like on the Barber Shop movies, just be ready to talk ish about whatever topic is going on in the shop, it will be lively no doubt!

I took my son for a haircut yesterday. We did not have an appointment so I am not sure who cut his hair. It is the worst haircut I have every seen. I would have been better off throwing my $ 20 into the trash as I know have to take him to his regular spot (which was closed yesterday) and pay to have someone fix the mess they made. I do not want to go back to have them fix it because I am fearful he would be bald by the time we’re done. Note: My son is half Asian, half Caucasian so I’m going to assume it’s not a good idea to go there if you do not have African American textured hair because he clearly did not know how to cut different textures.

This barber shop is great place to get a hair cut. They specialize in african american/​black hair styles but can deliver a quality cut no matter what type of hair you have. Marco and Jermaine are passionate about their business and it shows. You can’t go wrong with this barber shop. If you are looking for a great hair cut, go to Afros & Fades in Corona!

I can’t believe people are claiming this place is clean, professional, and a positive environment. They are very unprofessional. They have no respect for women and/​or children being in their salon. They curse, have lude conversations, and show zero professionalism. It’s unfortunate that they are the only salon in this immediate area that deals with African American hair. There are some good barbers who work there, but they should do a better job of making sure that the other men in the shop show respect when women and children are present. I choose to drive further to get my child’s hair cut in a more professional environment because giving this shop any of my money is not an option.

This is the worst experience I ever had at a barber shop. I have been here twice for emergency occasions and they butchered my hair both time, everything was horrible, the service, that haircut, and the atmosphere. Very unprofessional

My first time there and I was impressed with the environment being that it was clean, everyone seem to be friendly. I went with Mario, we hit it off, lot of conversation and laid back atmosphere. It’s in a shopping center with plenty of parking, located right of the freeway at the Magnolia Avenue exit.

I took my son here to get a haircut from Demarco, I was hesitate at first since I read the previous comments, however he did an awesome job, and I will be returning! And letting others know about this Barber shop! It has a nice setup plus the they entertainment for those who have to wait! Thanks again Afros and fades! Oh and love the name of the shop. Not too shabby!

I just moved to Corona, I needed a hair cut, I was driving by Afros & Fades, I stumbled upon a GEM!!! 1st of all I got my hair cut by a gentleman named Jose. If you go to get a haircut talk to Jose. I think it is very possible that this is the best hair cut I have ever had. Jose took his time, super attention to detail, he didn’t yapp my ear off, he focused on cutting my hair. That is what I like. sometimes barbers seem to think I am paying them to entertain me. I do enjoy good conversation but this guy was low on the yipp-​yapp and high on the cutting of the hair. He did an outstanding job on the fade and I definitely will be back. I watched the other guys cut hair. I was in the shop for about an hour total. Maybe I went on the best day ever but I watched every single barber give a phenomenal haircut. I am very impressed with this little GEM I found in Corona and I will definitely highly recommend Afros & Fades to everyone.

I can’t speak for the rest of the barbers here at Afros&Fades. However this one I think his name was Mike, specifically made me feel very unwelcome. Not only did I feel bad vibes from the guy he left me waiting in the chair for 15 mins talking to other people around him. When he finally got to me I made sure to let him know I didn’t want my sides too short, leaving the top and back long enough for me to slick back and part my hair on occasion. So first things first… what barber cuts hair with head phones on? Anyways he basically shaved half of my head. While combing my hair he combed roughly against my eyebrow somehow and didn’t apologize. He nicked me a couple of times. In the middle of cutting my hair he left to speak to his «homie»…very professional. This was a terrible experience. I spent $ 18 on a cut I wasn’t satisfied with. I didn’t want any trouble. Paid and made my way out.

Since I have been here from TX I have never had a terrible experiance in this shop. Everyone is nice, polite speaks and the wait is not that long. They are always full of barbers and have a nice walk in system. If you have someone you prefer that is not an issue. Parking is never an issue and they keep the tv’s on for entertainmet so you never miss any game highlights.

So i really dont write reviews but im a little disapointed about this place because it seems to have potential. My son has gotten his haircut twice here two different barbers, the first time he got his haircut he got all cut up with the clippers, the haircut was really nice but the cuts were bad and my son did not want to go back the second time i was refered to Donte by two different people so i thought i would try it again, wow the haircut was sooo bad he cut off his whole mohawk he had and didnt even pick out his hair first, im a hairdresser and i know the basics, comb the hair out first. i walked out truly dissapointed, im sure others like the place it looks busy but unfortunately i just did not care for it. oh also maybe this is how they do it at barbershops but at my salon it would be rude to put head phones on while cutting, to me its a lil unproffesional. Sorry guys barbershop has potential just a couple of flaws!!!
