Interesting… Like the other one star reviewer, my prior comments too have been removed! Save your money folks! Not detailed oriented ATALL. And rest assured if you agree to the hourly rate, they will hike hike hike it up and if you opt for the pay by piece, they will find an item on sale and charge you the full price!(I only realized this after we bought a dining room table) and then found out from a relative that it was on sale… On top of this, practically everything we bought fell short, the finishings were wrong, window covering wrong, etc etc… all of that and the Newport Beach attitude to boot

I love this place. So many wonderful decorative pieces to choose from. They did some custom work for us and it came out exceptional. For the high quality I received, the prices were low. I highly recommend Jackson Newman to anyone that wants to update their existing home or to find something new. They are full of ideas to help. Very happy

The service here is exceptional! They had a chair I liked but wasn’t quite perfect. The employee told me they could customize the shape of the chair and have it reupholstered to my liking. I went ahead with the transaction and it came out amazing. Thanks so much for the extra work to get me what I wanted. I’ll be a customer again in the future.

I came in looking for a lamp for my bedside table and ended up with a really cool Indonesian carved mahogany Buddha lamp! The lady at the front desk greeted me when I walked in and was very helpful. I see this store front driving down pch or getting doughnuts across the street at Roses all the time. I finally stopped in to check it out and I’m glad I did, there’s a lot of interesting items in there and I’ll definitely keep them in mind in the future.

I want to give a big shout-out to Jackson Newman Interiors. My husband and I recently remodeled a home in Newport Beach and needed a few key pieces. With help from Rebecca, we bought an amazing L-shaped couch, custom-made to fit the dimensions of our open space first floor. You can find similar pieces in catalogues, but not for the price and expert quality. The couch is the centerpiece of our downstairs. Jackson Newman’s owner, Anita, also helped us choose the fabric and look for treatment of our bedroom window on the second floor. The window is extremely large, with a rounded, half-circle top half. We didn’t want to lose the view or the sunlight, and with Anita’s help we chose the perfect window covering, airy, gauzy curtains hung from a brass rod and looped around simple but elegant knobs on either side. Anita measured the window and just a month later the curtains were installed. What we love most about Jackson Newman though are the many unique objects it offers. A beautiful mosaic cloisonné canister by Fabienne Jouvin, exotic statues made of driftwood, blue and white porcelain lamps, and an antique cooper tray we’ve filled with shells from our walks on the beach — these are just a few of the great finds we were lucky enough to purchase from Jackson Newman Interiors. I highly recommend this place!

What a beautiful store with unique and tasteful decorating ideas! I stop in often just to visit with Rebecca and see what new items are available to dress up my home. I enjoy the beauty of the store and the lamps and accessories are one of a kind.

Interesting, my comments from 6÷21÷12, have been removed so I will re-post them. Worst experience ever. While on vacation, I purchased a bed which they quickly and gladly offered to have shipped. What great service, or so I thought. They told me that the bed was so well made that I will have it for the rest of my life. Once I got back home and received the bed, as we began putting it together, we began finding several damaged parts that prevented us from being able to put the bed together. Thinking the damages occurred during the shipping, I was beyond shocked to learn that the owner and employee that sold it to me, were well aware if was damaged. The first thing the employee said when I called and said there was damage was«oh you mean the foot board? We already know about it, it was damaged when we got it so we glued it so it is really not a problem. The crack is so large that it can no longer fit together. Oh yes, there is more. I told her that’s not all that’s damaged, 3 of the 6 slats that hold the box spring were also damaged. One of the feet was completely off. The other two, were hanging by a thread and dandling from the screw. Her response to this, oh we know about that too. All you have to do is screw the foot back on. I said I would do that but we can’t because the screws have been stripped. Her response, she’s aware of it and all I have to do to fix it is hire a handyman, which she did offer to pay for. But there was more damage. One of the sideboards was cracked and without repairs, the bed could not be put together. When I called and tried to work out the issues with the owner, all she would offer to do is pay for a handyman to come out and repair a bed that was damaged so badly that it would never be like new. I tool the day off of work to move the old bed out and set up the new bed. I also paid my assistant to come out and help me. As I told the owner, had she disclosed the known damages rather than hard sell it as an excellent quality bed, which it is not, I would never had purchased it. The bed cost $ 2800 which included $ 200 for shipping. All the owner said she would do is pay for the handyman and if I didn’t like it, I could ship it back and of course, she was not going to cover the cost of shipping it back, for my time to ship it back or, a refund for the $ 200 I paid her to ship it to me. What she told me is that she would not give me one penny for anything except to pay for the handyman. She then hung up. Once my visa statement came, I planned to dispute the charge, which I informed her I planned on doing. The charge appeared on my Statement about 13 days before the bed even arrived. I called the store to confirm the name of the owner and was very polite. Once she provided me with her name, I said good bye and hung up. Within about 2 minutes, my cell phone rang and according to the caller ID, it was the store so I let if go through to my voice mail. They left a message. The message left did not include words, only sounds. The sound they left was a sound that sounds like someone passing gas, which I thought was very immature and counter productive. 12÷16÷13 — About a year after I posted the above comments, I received an email from Unilocal that included a response by the owner of Jackson Newman. Why did it take her a year to respond??? The second issuer I have with the owners response is that her comments, in my opinion, were not factual. In her comments the owner stated that the problem was resolved and that I ended up with a beautiful new bed, FORFREE. Not true. The bed, which turned out to be a piece of junk that NOONE would buy, was hardly free. The money that I spent out of my own pocket included: (1) Over $ 200 for shipping(keep in mind, that I live two states away. I can only assume the owner thought she would never see or hear from me again), (2) I paid someone to help me dismantle and remove my old bed; sit around waiting for the delivery to arrive(which was late); unpack and put together the new bed; then go to the hardware store to purchase what we thought was needed to fix the severely damaged bed. (3) Upon learning of the damages, since my old bed had been discarded, I then had to take the time off work to try and locate someone to repair it. (4) I then paid this person to come to my home to make the repairs. (5) From start to finish, this entire ordeal wound up taking the entire day and even into the evening. None of this would have been necessary had they been forthright when I asked them about the quality of the bed, before purchasing it. The damages, which they later acknowledged they new about, were not visible or disclosed. In the end, the damages to me for out of pocket costs amounted to more than I paid for the bed. I didn’t want the bed and offered let them pick it up, in exchange I asked them to reimburse me for my out of pocket expenses. No only did the owner refused, she called back leaving a nasty voicemail on my cell which included profanity.

Great customer service. I usually don’t write reviews but after reading the previous review I felt I must. I was greeted and assisted by Rebecca. She was helpful and charming and answered all my questions. I really was, just walking down PCH when the sofa in the window caught my eye. Rebecca made me feel comfortable to walk in and I didn’t feel like I was being chased around like I do in other places. The head designer when to my home to make sure it would fit properly. THESAMEDAY! I ended up buying the sofa and Michael, their assistant, delivered it to me the next day. What a great experience!!! I will go back here before I would ever again go to those more commercial and corporate interior stores.
