Gina’s Pizza

Super frustrating experience the other night trying to grab a slice and small salad from their walk up window. After about 10 minutes of waiting (and seeing people after me pick up their order) I checked with the girl at the register to see if my order was ready. I was met with attitude as I let her know i was sitting on the bench if she was looking for me. Another 10 minutes go by and I go to the window again and ask if my dinner was ready and only then did she realize my pizza was given to another girl so they had to make mine again. She just laughed it off and blamed someone else in the kitchen. Aren’t you the one handling orders? She gave me an extra slice which was a nice gesture but when I got home I realized I didn’t have any salad dressing which pissed me off all over again. Seriously get it together and ditch the attitude.

We stumbled upon this gem. It is a bit of a hole in the wall but man it has some great Italian food.
Spaghetti and meatballs were so good. I had the bigga slice of pizza and they aren’t kidding it’s pretty big but really delicious. I recommend this place as a neighborhood gem.

Once one of my favorite places to order pizza and salad has unfortunately become one of the worst places to order take out from because of the repeated poor service! They consistently get the order wrong, never complete or missing items. I’ve been going here for years but have finally had enough as they are no longer the only game in town! Cmon Gina’s get your act together and focus more on your patrons!

This place is as consistent and good as it gets. The food quality, the service, and the employee’s are what keep me coming back. I’ve lived in Corona del mar/​Newport beach my whole life and have never had a bad experience at Gina’s. Not to name drop, but Rudy and Cruz have given me nothing but the greatest customer service since day one! Best Pizza in Orange County!

Quick delivery and great tasting pizza. We always order gluten free, and it is hard to tell that it isn’t regular. Ever since fresh brothers took their GF option off of their mobile app, we have only ordered from Gina’s and have not been sorry. It is a little pricey, but on the very few occasions we have a pizza night, we always go Gina’s.

My favorite pizza in the hood: convenient and consistent. You can’t go wrong with their meatballs or their specialty pizzas. I love their multigrain thin crust option.
If you’re a meat lover, get the Godfather with thin multigrain crust, well-​done.
Feeling a little frisky? Try their BBQ chicken or Hawaiian.

This place is pretty good I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and they were good, the marinara sauce is a little unique but its good and fresh. It came with cheesy garlic bread which was also very good. I also got a large Godfather pizza with thin crust. This was also good however the crust was not that thin, however the crust was very good.

Horrible service !!! I was waiting for my personal pizza1 hours and 35 min because they had some rich customers and they did not care about my order !!! They are looking for who pays more tip than customer’s order ! Low quality customer services and low class !!!
I was a customer in 3 years and it was their attitude !!!

Delivery that arrives earlier than expected, YAY! Gina’s is a good choice especially for today football/​netflix binge Sunday. We ordered two things we had never tried before this time. A mushroom and sausage calzone and a chicken pesto sandwich. Both were really good. The chicken sandwich was not swimming in pesto either, just the right amount.
Gina’s pizza’s are consistently good. We are fans of the bbq pizza as well as the option to choose your own sauces and toppings. The field green salad is excellent (add chicken and it’s an entrée).

Rudy really knows what customer service is all about!!! Great food as well.

This is the best pizza I think I’ve had in at least 20 years. I started coming here maybe just a little over a year ago. The place is small — really tiny restaurant squeezed in a small strip mall type place behind Haggens (or whatever that grocery store is called that took over many Von’s)… Anyway, I started with the thin crust because that’s usually what I prefer. It was very good too but the next time I went, I tried the regular crust and I was in love ! So, now every time I visit Newport Beach I try to squeeze some time in for this pizza paradise. The key seems to be in their fresh ingredients and their super yummy rich cheese. I usually order pepperoni — I wish we had a Gina’s Pizza in Vegas: D

Location specific review:
The venue is small but inviting. Seriously though they really have it on lock down both on take out and dine in. Especially their take out. Almost seems like they read your mind. Yes it’s that fast.
General overview:
I have always enjoyed Gina’s pizza. Their pizza is always made fresh and their specialty pizzas are pretty good. I would consider it one of the best chain pizza restaurants out there.
Suggestions:
In terms of salad, look no further than the rasta salad and antipasto salad. Best ones on the menu by far.
Best pizzas are definitely Bianca, BBQ chicken, and house special. Don’t try to branch out with anything else. Don’t do it. I’m serious. Don’t. Just don’t

I have been dining here for the past twenty years.
This is a family owned restaurant and you can feel the love and care in the delicious food and the awesome service.
Mama Gina was a true Italian chef and now that she is gone her family carries on her tradition of authentic and homemade scintillating creations.
I think the prices are fair for the amazing amount of tasty food they bring to the table.
I usually need a carry out container and have a second Italian dinner the next day.
Highly recommend!

The chicken palermo pizza is gangster

This place always has the best pizza and good service. I normally order for pickup but eating in their tiny closed patio is fun too.
The ranch dressing on their salad is home made from what I remember and wow– it’s the bet I’ve ever had! Sometimes I order two containers so I have one for my salad and one to dip pizza crusts into. I highly recommend their pesto pizza which is loaded with veggies. Order it, you won’t be sorry!

Going to have to try somewhere new for pizza delivery because after several tries, apparently three miles is too far for Gina’s to deliver a hot pizza. Luke warm, dried out pizza … Again.

Update: The Original Review still stands BUT I have to say their Calzones were pretty freakin good. Stuffed to the Brim with cheesy and meaty goodness that I will gladly take over their pizza.
I will say that our group did try their sweet potato fries but found them bland. Not really excited about them.
The 4 Stars is for the customer service in the restaurant and the calzone.

Came across this place on Unilocal,while leaving another restaurant down the street because the wait was too long. We were STARVING!!!
Who doesn’t love PIZZA?
Walked up to this place and instantly notice the outdoor seating facing PCH. There is seating inside, but space is limited. We were immediate greeted and offered assistance if we had any questions about the menu. He also provides us with a «Happy Hour» menu that had most appetizers at a discounted price.
We got «The Godfather Pizza» (Pepperoni, Italian sausage, crisp bacon, Ginas Meatballs & Pastrami and roasted garlic. We ordered the small 12″ and it was perfect for 2 people, 8 slices.
Also got the Parmesan fries! Best cooked fries I’ve ever had. SUPER CRISPY on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. They also fry them with some fresh rosemary. You get that unique aroma of Rosemary while eating these fries.
Aaaaannd… The Messina Fire wings. Go try them for yourself! They’re freaking amazing! Not too spicy either!
HINT: Sit outside on the patio facing PCH, you get a peek-​a-​boo view of the ocean. And you get to people watch and see all the nice cars cruise by. For the guys, you can check out all the ladies. And for the ladies you get your eye candy too and dogs! Lol

theb place can use a refresher… its dark and 80’s looking. They could stp it up by making the place look a bit more inviting
Now, the pizza was excellent. The Margherita was delicious, their beer cold

This is on my top 3 pizza joints.
I don’t live close by but the distance has never kept me away.
50 miles worth the drive.
