Everything we got here– the crabs, the steamed shrimp, the hushpuppies, even the pie– were on point! We’ll definitely be coming back for some fresh fish!

I stop here for the crabcakes every year. I believe they told me it was a grandmothers recipe, and I pick some up for me and always try to take some home for my grandmother who also seems to love these. She has liked others, but doesn’t ever say no when I tell her where these are coming from.
I haven’t gotten other foods from here yet, but always seem to have a fresh and large supply of fish, crabs, and other seafoods. Staff always shows willingness to help.
Prices are comparable to others. Crabcakes are $ 7.00 each, but I really think they only put enough filler to keep it together and you will see the large chunks of crab meat.
Even when not staying all the way up on Corolla, I will make a special trip up just for these crabcakes.

Really, really fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Ordered a pound of shrimp to have them freshly steamed — definitely go for this option as the pre-​steamed ones aren’t half as good. A family member had soft crabs that were cleaned really well and freshly fried. Only complaint is they were breaded a little heavy and the cooking oil probably could have been changed.

Fresh + clean + good selection + HUGE crabs = cooked and stayed in a lot more than we’d planned on. This is your total seafood go-​to for any stay in Corolla involving a kitchen.

This was a great find during my recent trip to OBX. My friends and I were looking for some great seafood to cook as a means of diverting from our days long diet of burgers and wings. We found this place while driving around Corolla and I’m glad we did. The owners were super friendly and the seafood was great… fresh, delicious and affordable. They have authentic Jamaican Jerk seasoning which is incredibly hard to find outside of NYC or a place where there is a large Jamaican population… this place rocks!!! I’m Jamaican and trust me… if you love spicy anything, buy this seasoning and your palate will love you. We got crab legs, some lobster and the most amazing crab cakes I’ve ever had. They were made fresh just a few minutes before we purchased them and they were delectable!!! The cakes were made with lump crab and very little breading… just enough to hold everything together… which is just the only way to ever make crab cakes. This place is a delight and I cannot wait until our next trip back to OBX next May so that we can come back and enjoy their amazing seafood.
