Deadbeat. I also had a living social deal and had ZERO response from the company. Tried numerous times to schedule and they NEVER responded. I get it they were busy, but at least respond. Filed a complaint.

I had the same experience as the others. I bought the Living Social deal in early December. Tried to book the appointment for a couple weeks later, when I was moving out of an apartment, but was informed by Lertak that they had no openings until January. So I booked the appointment for February, the Friday before my birthday. I was expecting house guests so thought it would be nice to have the cleaning people come then(it was kind of a treat for me, since I usually don’t spring for professional cleaners). My husband stayed home to let them in and even did some«pre-cleaning» in anticipation. Basically, we were thrilled to have cleaners come. They never showed up. They never called to cancel. They never emailed. Nothing. After an hour had passed from the time they were scheduled to come, we tried calling and emailing them to see what happened. Their phone number went straight to voicemail each time. There wasn’t even a professional-sounding answering machine, which made me think this company is some sort of scam. I also never heard back from my emails. This company is definitely not legit. I just reached out to Living Social for a refund, but haven’t heard back yet. I agree with the others — this reflects poorly on Living Social. Do they not do any screening of their vendors?

I also bought the living social deal and nearly three months later still can’t get an appointment scheduled! They do not return e-mails, their voicemail is consistently full and I have asked living social for a credit back for this deal.

I’m just going to piggy-back on all the rest here. Agree on all accounts. I had about 30 – 45 back and forth email exchanges which went nearly no where and phone number I believe is now disconnected. I had an appointment scheduled for 1÷14÷12 after purchasing the voucher sometime in October like everyone else. after reading these reviews and the amount of stress and anger they were causing me, i simply called Living soical and got my refund in about 2 mins. Thankfully living social has competent people working.

So, I thought I caught a great deal on living social to have my apartment cleaned. Lertak called me to set up an appointment for a week later and I thought everything was fine. I get off early from work just so I can meet the person coming to clean my apartment. The person was due at 5:30 and I purposely got there at 5pm just so I can be home early if there were any issues with directions. The time came and went with no phone call or even an attempt to contact me regarding my appointment. I tried calling for two days and I didn’t receive an answer. I left messages and emails and still no answer. I have to say, after initially being excited about this, my enthusiasm has be severally dampened. I can’t comment on the actually cleaning because they haven’t even been here to do the work. This review is primarily on their customer service and customer service alone. What a first impression. **UPDATE1/5/2012** As you can see below the owner got in contact with me due to my review and asked that I give them a 2nd chance. It was explained that due to the extreme demand for the service due to the Living Social deal and slim staffing that they couldn’t meet my first appointment. I understood this and the owner was willing to give me an extra hour of cleaning for the inconvenience. I felt, this might have been going in the right direction. So 18 back and forth emails later, I get booked for an appointment on January 5th at 6pm. I was really looking forward to given this company a 2nd shot. I informed the company that I don’t have a working vacuum and I was told they would bring one with them. One gentleman showed up, which was agreed, but didn’t have a vacuum. Not only did this ONE gentleman show up without a vacuum, he showed up on foot with a back pack. WTF! When I inquired about the vacuum, he explained why they don’t provide one. I showed him the email from Michael that shows they were supposed to have a vacuum, he promptly called his owner. I witnessed this poor guy get the owner on the phone, TWICE, but the call conveniently dropped. No biggie, I said, I’ll call for you. The poor guy had At&t service but that’s neither here, nor there. So I call, twice, and no answer. Straight to voicemail. He repeatedly tries to call, straight to voicemail. I text, no answer. At this point, I said, no thank you. I won’t be using this service. I will be requesting a refund from Living Social for this HORRIBLE service. DONOTUSEUNDERANYCIRCUMSTANCES! I hope the poor guy that works for them gets a job with another cleaning company that will actually PROVIDE him with a vehicle to get to appointments. Called Living Social, referred the customer service rep to my Unilocal review and credit was issued. I do not blame Living Social at all.

I would actually give zero stars if I could. I bought the living social coupon, and I was really excited to have my kitchen get a thorough cleaning before the holidays. Then I tried using it… I emailed to try to set up an appointment. Several days later, I got an email asking my address, I responded to that, they said they’d find out who was near me next and then… nothing. I’ve emailed them repeatedly, not a single response. When I call(and my husband spent most of a day calling them every ten minutes just to see) it rings and rings and rings and eventually cuts off. We filled out the contact request on the website mutliple times, and got no response. We tried a form on the calender page and I got an email that had no from address, the subject was«appointment notification» with no time, date, location, information about the sender or appointment. I’m not sure I could have gotten worse customer service if they were actually trying to alienate their customers and go bankrupt. The good news is that I contacted Living Social, and THEY were incredibly helpful. They’re looking into the contact problems, and have already offered me a store credit with them, which I really appreciate.
