My group did a half day sea caves tour, which was fantastic. The guides were very friendly and informative about the caves, and allowed us to kayak and explore at our own pace. The staff was also very accommodating when I had to change our reservation twice. Make sure you read the cancellation policy, as well as the weather policy, since they’re very detailed and could affect your trip.

Took the sea cave tour and it was wonderful! We had a full group with 2 guides. They did an excellent job of leading and handling so many different skill levels. They were very professional and patient with answering all questions and helping everyone. The caves are amazing to see up close and be able to explore. I got some amazing pictures that look like postcards! I plan to do another tour when I’m back in the area! Can’t go wrong with Lost Creek Adventures!!!

Yes it is a bit out of the way from Bayfield but the extra 20min drive is worth it. The staff are so amazingly friendly and professional. We felt really comfortable kayaking miles by ourselves after the training. Next time we make it up north we’re coming back!

Our trip was on 7÷5÷14 for a half day sea caves trip. When we arrived they told us that we probably wouldn’t see the sea caves because there was a storm coming. We got on the water and within 20 minutes they made us turn around because one of the guides«saw lightning». We called about getting our money refunded since we have paid for a four hour trip and were on the water for less than half an hour. The lady on the phone was very rude and said that their inclement weather refund policy was void as soon as we got into the water even though they knew we probably wouldn’t get to the sea caves anyways. We drove 3.5 hours from Minneapolis for this trip and it was a complete waste. They wouldnt even give us 50% of our money back! I am amazed!!! Visited July 2014

Went on a 430 paddle to the sea caves yesterday. Ben was our guide, nice guy, first year leading trips. As often happens on Lake Superior, a storm blew in just as we approached the caves. Ben had to make the difficult(right) decision to turn back. As we paddled back, the storm intensified and I was happy to be heading in, not out. This outfitter takes things seriously — good equipment, solid preparation. I will definitely seek them out again!
