A few people suggested this place has the best pizza on the Market Street strip so I checked it out and it did not live up to expectations. Not bad, but I hope it isn’t the best there is on this block. We went in late night before going to the bar and it was completely dead in there, a little surprising since it was a Friday night. I’ve seen a few of the other pizza places full of people so it always makes me a little nervous when restaurants are completely empty. I ordered one slice of pizza and a soda for $ 4. It seems a bit expensive, maybe I’m just picky. We also ordered garlic knots, which didn’t seem all the way cooked through. I expected them to be more crispy, less mushy and it’s not what I got; it didn’t taste bad, they were pretty good but too greasy for me. My +1 ordered the eggparm sandwich and for $ 6, I nearly laughed when I saw the size of it. It was small, didn’t even take up the whole plate, it looked like half of his sandwich was missing. The beer selection is limited but at least they have a selection. $ 4.50 for a bottle, meh. I like the décor, the tables are cool and if you have a big party or you’re taking a sports team there, the huge table in the middle will accommodate you. The painting on the wall is also very cool. A nice vibe to the whole place but a bit lacking on the food. I will stop by again someday, but until then I will have to try the other places before I loop back around.

My family of four wanted a quick bite after a long drive to Corning. We used Unilocal and it was a toss up between this the other top rated piZZA JOINT. The Person behind the counter was awesome, happy, and very helpful. The sitting area was very cool and covered with art in the form of paintings and light fixtures. The one problem is there is only one spot for groups larger than 2 to sit down unless you move the tables and chairs for a group of 4 max. The calzones and cheese sticks were good. T One very nice touch were the kids magazines and Wall Street journals to read while you wait. One negative the menu could be seen or read with out being right at the counter. This didn’t allow you to plan ahead before it was your turn to order. Priced right and friendly.

Great pizza! Atmosphere is fantastic and the service was helpful. Plenty of street parking, and the restaurant was clean. One star deducted because the manager(Rico?) was tearing up the waitress making her cry in front of customers. Guy clearly has a temper issue.

I love Corning, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. A good example of why is Rico’s Pizza. The staff went out of their way to make my daughter’s food delicious and safe. She has a dairy allergy and cannot have an ounce of any dairy of ANY kind. My daughter feel welcomed and was completed in love with her cheese less pepperoni personal pizza. Dealing with customers with allergies is tricky at times, but the staff’s great attitude and let’s make this happen cheer made us felt welcome and at home. The food is amazing and unique, as the salad came with pickled carrots, which was a suprising new taste, amazing garlic knots and a cannoli to die for! Also, Rico himself came out when everything was handled and had a great conversation with us. He was a real sweetheart! With the wonderful contemporary setting and exemplary staff, we will not only be back, but will tell all our friends and family back home! Thank you for you patience and service Rico’s. I am a gauranteed customer while in this area for now on!

I was very happy with Rico’s, not only was it one of the only places we found while on vacation that had a clue on how to handle allergy issues, but the cannoli they made my wife was one of the best she’s ever had. When we return to the area we are coming back.

When I learned that this is the favorite pizzeria of all 8 of my Corning sister’s children, I recently called for delivery of a «birthday treat» for one of them, and my ‘long distance” order was fulfilled easily, quickly, and correctly! …Many thanks from Boston MA! :)

My fave pizza place in corning! Better than the others in the area in my opinion! I like the décor too, especially the purple utensils! For some reason, it makes eating a slice of pizza much more fun!

This pizza was very good. I would consider my family very picky and even my kid that does not generally like or eat pizza finished all of it, even the crust! Lots of variety for individual slices. Slices were crunchy and thin on the bottom, cooked through without being burnt. Super yummy would come again!

Sad example of a sub. ¼ of a tomato slice, two pieces of onion and you have to search for the meat.

Being from out of town this was a fantastic surprise and a great place to have stumbled upon! The service was both friendly and inviting. Rico’s unique atmosphere was welcoming and their pizza was excellent. Very friendly service and the owner offered great after dinner conversation showing a personal touch and a commitment to his customers. Definitely recommend the white garden pizza.

Rico’s is one better Pizza places in Corning it is less greasy than Aniello’s. I love the chicken wing and the Pagliacci pizzas, also the garlic knots are good. One thing I love is they dont try to be cheap on the toppings plus everything taste fresh which i cant say about alot of places. The chicken wings are ok nothing special but decent. All in all its above average food if you like pizza its one my favorites.

We drove by Corning on our way to Niagara falls and found this little treasure! The people who worked there were just amazing! Very friendly and good crowd. And to top it all of, the pizza was beyond amazing! Best one I probably ever had. This place is a must to visit!

We ate at Rico’s on a sunday night of a holiday weekend; sort of early in the evening. It was empty at first and then quickly fillled. We had 2 pizzas; large pep and small veggie plus a salad. All was very good. Salad was fresh, had a good variety of veggies and tastedUn good. Pizzas were great also. I loved the really crisp crust. Definitely a favorite of mine especially when they load up the shronies like they did. Sometimes that can get a bit greasy and lead to soggy crust. Didn’t happen here. Even though it may not have the feel of some of the places nearby, we highly recommend it. This is 4 star for a smaller community scale.

If you’re in Corning for any reason and want pizza, this is the place you have to go! This is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. Plus, a good selection of Jones soda. Good times!

Tasty Pizza and ready really fast for pick up. Was working late this week and we had a few pies brought in. We enjoyed the Veggie(minus mushrooms, plus jalapeños) and a pie with Sausage and pepperoni. The pizza we well cooked, great thickness and had great topping coverage. Hadn’t had Jalapeños on a pizza before, but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend the above combinations.

Calling all locals! It’s 2012. This is the best pizza in town, hands down. Rico has perfected his dough recipe it would even make Peter Reinhart drool for more more more… Google Peter Reinhart you fools. Tourist, you’ll send postcards from this place and wonder why the other locals used the«A» word. Unilocaler’s? Trust this review, ’nuff said Rico’s won’t disappoint.

We have eaten here in the past with family members that live in the area. The location is great, the atmosphere is fun, and the food(NY-style pizza, wings, knots) are all top-notch.

If you dine in it is pretty good pizza. Delivery is awful, our last order was sideways in the box, and all the cheese was in the corner of the box. What a bummer. They said we will get a refund via gift card, but it kinda stinks when you have guests waiting. I’ll keep you updated if they actually refund us.
