Stayed two nights here(not in a row) — once prior to going to our flight the next morning and once after arriving back from our flight after our trip to Bahamas. I had a promo deal from our first nights stay from a membership I’m a part of and it was booked months in advance. The price slowly went up over our time spent in the Bahamas and we didn’t decide until returning that we were going to stay the night instead of driving back home to Buffalo that night. So instead of charging me the price increase, the man that had checked us in the first night offered to honor our promo from the night we had stayed before our trip, and I was only charged the discount price again. I still think the normal rates $ 74-$ 83 for a night at a Days Inn is ridiculously pricey, however compared to $ 150-$ 200 range at other close by hotels, just for a place to sleep for a few hours, was ok. Easy to find a parking spot and not a long walk to the rooms. It’s free parking for the night. But if you want to stay here during a vacation it’s a flat rate of $ 40 to park in the lot for a 7 day period and specific times for an airport shuttle — our rate ended up being $ 40 for the 5 days we had our car parked at the airport and was much easier when carrying a ton of luggage anyway… But I guess it’s a better deal if you are staying a week and don’t mind the shuttle wait to and from hotel. The rooms were pretty clean compared to what I was expecting. Everything worked in both of the rooms we had. They have a «green» remote control, flat screen tv, desk, mini fridge(was pretty roomy, fit a personal pizza nicely), microwave(which I hardly ever remember having at other higher star hotels), closet hanging area, and an extra stand/table. The bathrooms were pretty small but served their purpose. I didn’t like how there wasn’t a spot other than the ground to put your shower supplies, however. It was a little difficult to get used to. Bed was decent size and comfortable, pillows were comfortable. We stopped down for the free breakfast, which goes from 6−9am. We went closer to 9 and it was still stocked up but my fiancé had to throw out his coffee because the milk was sitting out too long without being on ice(I don’t believe there was ice) or refrigerated and didn’t taste right to him. I liked we were able to pour premade batter to create waffles. We did that and yogurt(was in a fridge) with orange juice. So it was a decent small breakfast. We still had a couple hours til check out and they began cleaning the floor our room was on. Usually I don’t mind the sound or anything but you could smell all the nasty cleaning product scents coming through either our door or vents. It was so strong as if I had sprayed a bottle of Lysol in front of my face and sniffed it in. Only other downfall is somebody knocked on our door ten minutes before check out time to ask if we’re staying another day. Not sure why this happened but it was just weird to me. Overall this is a cheaper place to stay in the Pittsburgh area. It’s much closer to the airport than to Pittsburgh itself so it’s super convenient if you have a flight to catch or coming back from one it’s close by with good service and a decent rate.

Flower pots outside, a little picnic area, real half & half for my coffee and clean sheets! It’s a five for this little hotel whose amenities are beating some ‘nicer’ chains. A large number of us were routed here when a flight was cancelled and they handled it all efficiently and professionally. Breakfast is very limited but the coffee is good and the aforementioned cream makes up for a lot!

Stayed 2 nights, in 2 rooms. Rooms were clean, equipped with free wifi(which worked great), microwave, fridge, TV. Everything worked and was fine. Staff was extremely friendly. Rates were cheap. Very convenient to restaurants, highway and stores. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Indian fellows who run this joint are a blast. I took off a star because it is in the azz end of nowhere if yu want to go into p burg(30 – 40 $ cab ride) but it is on a big mysterious mountain next to a closed k mart and that’s kinda cool. The mall is across the way if your into that, I ain’t rly tho… The room is clean and fun and the shower was hot with good pressure — clean. It’s a days in im over here writing a review what do you want???

I was visiting the Pittsburgh area for a long weekend and decided to stay at the Days Inn, since I felt the price was right, plus it offered a pool and WiFi. Service was fine, rooms are clean and have the essential amenities. It’s a slightly older hotel, but it’s in good condition and fairly convenient to major highways and the airport. The breakfast nook was small, and while it offered a limited continental breakfast, it also offered waffles.

Room was dirty. Others were complaining at front desk as well. It took four minutes for the shower water to get warm. They described it as an «engineering problem» with no solution. SODON’T GIVEOUTTHATROOM. I got athletes foot from the shower. Free breakfast was cereal and doughnuts. Avoid!

The good: Room is small, clean, and had basic hotel amenities — pool, free parking, free wifi, free morning breakfast. Room we had was with a mini-frig and microwave. TV reception was«iffy» but it worked. Bed is comfortable. Stayed three nights. It is right next to the Robinson Township Mall and I-376, so easy to get to. Price was a deciding factor, and priceline gave a good value for our three nights there. Staff were all pleasant and smiled when meeting them, and they did seem accommodating to most needs. Breakfast offerings were basic(apples, oranges, juice, cereal, waffles, bagels, coffee, store bought muffins, toast, milk, tea, etc.) But there is also an IHOP and COSTCO nearby, as well as other, better dining options in the mall area. Also you can walk to Kmart, if you just need something small. The bad: Hotel was being repaired during our stay and maintenance on the hotel was well behind schedule. On the last day, we got a very strong smell of turpentine in the room and saw someone outside with a caulking gun.(shrug) At least it seems they are trying to make things better. But the toilet ran continuously, even though we reported it on the first day(loss of one star) — and no one there seems to really understand how to use a broom or a vacuum cleaner. The grounds were dirty, and the same trash I noted on day one in the parking lot — didn’t move for our entire stay.(Even though there was staff inside sitting idle in the lobby, with seemingly nothing to do.) Inside, it seemed hit and miss for the cleaning as well. Some parts were very well done(bathrooms & Elevators were clean and our beds were made well) while hallways and the lobby seemed to be forgotten — including the ice maker on our floor being busted, and there was trash overflowing on the floor in that room. The blanket for my bed looked like it had been splattered with paint and had a torn hole in it, so I am guessing they don’t look at the bed much when they make it — or have limited replacement linen.(loss of second star) Bottom line: If I needed a room for one night, or a business layover, this would be fine. Good option if on a budget with kids and you need the mini-frig and microwave. Hotel for us was okie, since we were on a budget for this trip — and the staff were nice.
