This is another gem of a Coral Springs park. It is one of the city’s older parks, therefore there are a lot of native trees, well established trees and shrubs. There is a very nice path that winds through a small forest area and when you are walking on it you forget, just for a few minutes, that you are in the city. The paths are nice and shady. This park is a great place to spend the day with friends or family. There is a nice picnic pavilion next to a large volleyball court and a large open space with plenty of room for a game of frisbee or catch. The park also has a brightly colored playground and a few swings. A few more tables and grills are spread throughout the park. Parks and Rec keeps the bathrooms impeccably maintained. There is ample parking here, so be sure to invite the whole family to spend the day enjoying the fresh air and shade!
