I didn’t feel like cooking this morning so I decided to stop here for breakfast. I was greeted very warmly with a «Buenos dias» by the server and cook. Honestly, its your typical Colombian restaurant with typical Colombian food. I arrived at 9:15 am on a Friday morning. I’m assuming they may have been busy for breakfast as most of the tables were quite disheveled. It seems as though there was only one server so perhaps she had her hands full. There were numerous TVs throughout the joint that were playing one of those overly dramatic telenovelas and the sound on one of them was about a second off from the others which was actually extremely annoying. I moved my seat to the other side of the restaurant without a problem. I ordered the typical Colombian breakfast, eggs with peppers and onions, a corn cake with cheese, and coffee. It was ready in about 5 minutes, and the server delivered my coffee a few minutes after that. (Usually the drink comes first). After she put down my food she checked my little silverware packet and then went to another table to fetch me another one. I accidentally put sugar instead of salt on my eggs (the sugar is in a small shaker too) and the server was very nice and offered to replace my eggs. The cook even came out of the kitchen and offered to replace my eggs but it was my mistake so I just lived with it, lol. The breakfast was about $ 5.50. I would visit this restaurant again, but honestly I would probably drive a mile East and go to El Balcon where they have more staff and keep on top of things a little bit more. However, if you’re just looking for cheap, quick, good quality food with friendly service, this place will do fine.
