Ramblewood Diner

Went for the first time this morning for breakfast.
It was around 10:30 so breakfast rush was over.
Waitress was the LOUDEST she-​beast ever.
My breakfast came out COLD. Husbands omelette was SUPER SALTY.
What kind of a restaurant SALTS eggs?
Lesters is closed for reno soooooo… we gotta find some other place.

Had 2 dinner «specials» and boy were they «special». Had a meatloaf dinner with 2 mystery meat paddies that had lots of cheap canned gravy dumped on it. Wifey had a half of chicken that was just tasteless. Will visit for breakfast but nothing else.

Went for breakfast, everything was great, including service.

My family and I have been coming to this diner for the last 15 years, it’s unfortunate that the level of service has dropped tremendously since its been under new management. Today was the worst experience I have ever encountered out of any restaurant I have ever gone too. It started over coffee. I asked the waitress for a glass of ice coffee. The coffee tasted old, so I asked the waitress when it was made and she informed me with an attitude, «it was made last night». I politely asked her if she would bring me fresh coffee. She took my glass away and stormed off. She threw my glass in the sink with anger. She came back with a new cup and slammed it down on the table. When my food came, she slammed the plate down on the table as well, she gave me a dirty look and stormed off. I could hear her complaining about me from 10 feet away to her co-​worker. About 10 minutes later she asked me if I wanted more coffee. I said «yes please and without the attitude». She slammed my glass back down on the table and said to me «I am not getting you anything, you can ask someone else» and she stormed off again. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time that I didn’t even want to finish my food. I could hear her complaining extensively to her manager. When I went to pay the bill I spoke to the manager who stands at the podium and she was rude as well. I tried to explain to her what transpired and before I could get a word out, she told me there is 2 sides to a story, she gave me the impression she wasn’t interested I what I had to say. I asked for the owner. The owner came out and I explained everything to him. He seemed pretty but I don’t think he issue will be address internally.

decent food okay service not really into there menu was worth a try but ill stick to pancake house or ihop or dennys for breakfast more often

Great food great service!!! Breakfast is awesome and dinner is even better! The service is amazing the staff is all friendly and attentive.

This is where the locals go to eat breakfast! I have eaten here several times and always enjoy the good diner favorites like pancakes, french toast, omelets, bacon etc.
The servers are friendly and know a lot of the regulars by name.
Today, we both ate jumbo french toast which is made with fresh brioche… it’s light, fluffy and delicious.

Has alot of the same quality of a Jersey diner. Get the Turkey dinner special and the Gyro Omelet
Serve can be hit or miss depending on waitress.

ZERO STARS! I would never go here again, nor would I recommend it, even to my worst enemy! Asked the waitress about how their cheesesteak sandwich was. That was my second mistake. She emphatically told me it was great. Got my sandwich about ten minutes after ordering it and, to my disbelief I was served something resembling a steak-​um! My sandwich was an oversized hoagie, with one sliver of a compressed cooked meat square. To cover up that abomity, the cook had covered the pathetic protein with a slew of peppers, onions, and cheese. Suffice it to say, I was served a veggie hoagie with a wonder-​meat garnish.
My third mistake was complaining to the waitress about it. You would have thought she just slaved for hours in a hot kitchen, making my dish herself. She was clearly offended that I dare criticize my entrée. She made a scene in going to the other staff and manager to share her disbelief. At one point five staffers, including the managers were all staring at me from across the restaurant as she obviously pointed me out. So what did I do? I waved hello to them and sang out, «yup​.it was, my sandwich. im the guilty party.». The manager came and tried a feigned attemp at concern. I have her a piece of my mind not so much about the pathetic offering of whatever it was they tried to serve me, but moreso, about the pathetically unprofessional way they handled the situation. I had to insist on having them take my food off of my bill (really) and I left. Never again.
Ps​.my first mistake, if you are wondering? Going to that establishment in the first place. Ugh. Truly. ZERO STARS!

Food is always fresh and always delish. We have been going here for years. Aside from the place being old and in desperate need of renovation, the food is always good.

This place is kind of a dump as far as the décor goes. With that said I go every Tuesday night with friends and the service and food make up for the aging décor. The dinner specials come with soup, salad, soft drink, entrée and dessert.

Sloppy service for take out. Waited about 10 min to get serviced for take out for the waitress to tell me because I was ordering 3 scrambled eggs plates & 2 sunny side up plates they were to busy to give me that type of order. Waitress was rude & I decided to walk out. the place was slightly busy but geesh! Waitress needs some common sense. If it were for me no star! Go somewhere else.

HARRRRRRRIBLE. Let me say I’ve gone to this place on off for 25 years. Its just awful. One time the waitress sweating in our food… but i digress. THIS time, was prerty standard for this place. First the atmosphere: Its drab and has no décor. Service? We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order and an othet 25 minutes for food to come out at various times. And then it came out in like three waves. Home fries undercooked, grilled cheese undercooked, eggs were overcooked. Salad took the longest to come out. Instead of warming coffee the waitress just brought more cups which crowded up the table. Someone in our group went to use the restroom and had to leave to go use one at some other establishment because it was so bad.

Had breakfast here recently with a dear friend in from out of town. We spent over two hours visiting bu were never bothered by our server to «hurry up and order» or «eat it and beat it» to clear the table. Love that and thank you to her.
Food was also good. A varied menu that can satisfy any and all appetites, I had a hard time trying to make up my mind but once I did, I wasn’t disappointed. I like my bacon VERY soft and they made me happy!
Don’t go for the décor, go for the good food and enjoy the good service.

They put a 2 top table next to a booth for our party of 6. This made a a waitress complain as she walked by «Well this isn’t gonna work.» The owner put it there. A member in my party asked if she could get some heated syrup and the waitress responded «We don’t do that here.» Party member asked «You can’t put some syrup in a bowl and heat it up?» As the waitress walked away I heard her say «You got to be kidding me.» Waffles doughy in the middle. Not a good experience… we won’t be back. Waffles weren’t eaten and they didn’t even offer to take tyoff the bill.

Bad service, dirty dining room, bad food… if your in coral springs and want breakfast do not go here. My hash browns were served almost raw in a plate full of grease. The two slices of bacon were paper thin. I ordered French toast and got pancakes. Will not be going back. Coral Springs diner is much better for breakfast… period

Charming place. Super friendly staff. Extremely fast and attentive service. Good food. Affordable prices. Some may say the décor is a little outdated, but it is nice and clean which is all that really matters. The place would definitely lose that «diner» feel if it underwent a modern overhaul. Will definitely be back. Places like this are few and far between and therefore deserve the community’s support.

Been coming here for 12 years, great service, great value, no frills meals. Typical diner fair, nothing fancy, don’t expect a red carpet. But the staff is GREAT! One of the friendliest in Coral Springs… they know your name, have your drinks and ready to take your order as you sit down. Kitchen is fast, food is consistent, nothing fancy, just a good value for a decent meal. Our kids love the staff and the older clientele, always a good time.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what the food was like.
My daughter and I went in for breakfast this morning. There were plenty of tables open and we were seated right away (restaurant was at about 50% of capacity).
The waitress takes our drink orders, brings the drinks back and pulls out her pen/​pad to take our orders. I tell her «Sorry, can we have another minute? We haven’t figured it out yet.»
She says «Oh, why not? You bet you can.» Then she disappears.
After ten minutes, my daughter and I left. I offered to pay for the coffee, but the cashier wouldn’t take it. I hate to admit it, but that was the first time I’d ever left a restaurant on account of bad service; if the place is slammed, I’ll cope with bad service… but this waitress just flat out vanished. Even the manager/​cashier lady at the front was having difficulty finding her as I was walking out.

Good food at a great value.
When I walk into a place and see it filled with senior citizens, it tells me three things:
1. The food will be decent.
2. The value will be excellent.
3. The servers will be patience/​good.
Now is my assessment politically correct? Well my answer is, probably not, but I really don’t care because my observations were spot on.
I had the Club Sandwich on wheat, dry with swiss cheese and home fries. (see pic) My daughter had Belgium Waffles. The sandwich was constructed good and it tasted great. My daughter loved the waffles and ate ever bit.
The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance was your typical diner nothing fancy.
Overall, decent place with some good chow, reasonable prices, and efficient service. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!
