I wish I could rate the store/​café higher… but its just sad that a shop like this in an amazing location and great concept is just not a friendly place to go.
The selection is ok, mostly spanish music, books, bibles, gifts and a small children’s area. The set up is nice. It’s just that the people are not friendly — I wish they were…

I came here looking for breakfast and despite being open was told they didn’t serve breakfast. Hrm. I proceeded to order off of their very limited menu (which is even more limited for vegetarians) and got the nachos. My mom ordered a sandwich, which was made an issue as the waitress didn’t know if they still served it (even though it was on the new very limited menu).
The nachos tasted like they were covered in velveta cheese and came with bland salsa. The only saving grace were the fresh cut tomatoes on top. My mom said her sandwich was less than mediocre, and had to pull things out of it and ultimately not finish it. She said the ingredient combinations simply didn’t match.
The bookstore within the restaurant is nice, although it’s all Christian material.
I think this place needs to get it’s act together to attract customers to dine there.
2.5 stars for being a limited bookstore with a lack of dining options and an absence of quality product.
