Good food terrible service! As we arrived very welcoming by the hostess, but all changed as table service started. Server wasn’t writing orders as expected in a restaurant, I had to repeat the food and wine orders a couple times more as questioned because he forgot! As guest’s of a restaurant you expect attention from all service staff not only the server but instead all staff was eating around the coffee station area, bussers, servers, bartender on a plain view from all guest’s without a care. Food was good as expected but again like lot’s of restaurants in the Miami area Service killed the experience! I hope management does take the review as constructive and not as I am asking for anything because I wouldn’t return…

I’m so disappointed to say that this is one of the worst Italian restaurants I have ever been to. Let me start by saying that the inside and outside décor is absolutely beautiful and I was so excited to have lunch there. It took forever for the waiter to acknowledge our presence and bring us menus. He then took a long while to come back and collect our order. The restaurant was completely empty with the exception of one other table. There were several waiters, hostesses and servers who clearly had nothing to do. Why did everything take so long? We started with a glass of wine and ordered the Chicago calamari appetizer. The positive part was the red sauce and cheese was delicious. The unbearable part is that the calamari was still partially frozen and it took about 5 minutes to chew each piece because of its rubbery texture. We were so disgusted that we could not eat it and decided to pay the bill and leave before trying anymore of their overpriced and disastrous food. What a shame! It is such a beautiful place and would be perfect for an outdoor lunch or romantic dinner. Too bad the food is inedible.

Went on Tuesday night. Service was horrible. Staff not very bright. Don’t know why they have those older women wear those outfits. Ate in the bar area. Ordered 3 entrees. Apparently only 2 were communicated to the kitchen. Although 3rd entrée did appear on bill. Large portions, but nothing special. 50 better places to eat in the Gables.

old school red sauce place. big portions. had the spaghetti with sunday gravy and my friend had the seafood liguini. not cheap at over $ 30/entrée, but it was good and it took me three sittings to finish up my spaghetti. would definitely be back.

The food was delicious– I’ll give them that. However, I can’t give 5 stars. First off– I had the fettuccine Alfredo that was supposed to come with shrimp. For some reason, there weren’t any shrimp in mine. I had to ask the waiter and they took the food back and brought it back with the shrimp. It was really delicious after the order was fixed but still on the pricier end. Dessert was delicious– tiramisu and cannolis! Would def recommend the cannolis. They are fresh, crunchy, and not soggy at all like some cannolis.

My coworkers and I Ordered food for pick up on Jan.22, 2016, when my coworker picked up the order and arrived back at the office the order was completely wrong. She asked what I had ordered because the bill was expensive? When we open up the order we realize that it was completely wrong. Our original order was for $ 40.00 and the order that was given to us and charged was for $ 70.00. We had to return to the restaurant to give the order back, had to wait an additional 20min for our order to be made. The only thing I must be honest if it weren’t for how great there food is and the portions I would never eat here again. To sum this up we didn’t get our money returned till 2 wks after the whole ordeal because the manager at the time did not complete the refund properly. I’m done with this review I don’t think there’s anything else left to say.

Came here with a group of 8 and a puppy so we sat outdoors, which had a nice ambiance on miracle mile and twinkly lights– only a lil awkward because we were the only ones sitting outside. The waiter started us off with some focaccia bread and chill infused olive oil it was really yummy(we got seconds). We skilled appetizers since we had a lot of bread before the waiter came to get our orders. I had the fettuccini Alfredo which includes shrimp and was pleasantly surprised at how large the shrimp was! And the portions are humongous — can probably get 2 – 2.5 meals out of it! The gnocchi was the special for the night and 4 people in our group got it with various sauces. I snagged a bite of ones and it was really good– def freshly made. We had the cannolis(average) and tiramisu(v good) for dessert and were beyond stuffed. Food was overall good but definitely on the pricey side(22 – 30 for pasta dishes)
Meal was a 7 out of 10, chicken marsala was overpowered by the mushrooms. The dish also came with a piece of steak in it and it was not part of the dish. Although we got our food in a timely manner I noticed that everyone else had not received their meals yet. The restaurant was indeed full and I sat outside. Two people never got their order when i left and they sat at a table before me. Felt sorry for some guests. Service needs to be more organized and attentive to customers and inform them there will be some delay without having the customer think they are being ignored by the employees

The atmosphere at this place was amazing for a date night. The patio-like lights along with outside seating was awesome for date night. It was little odd that the hostess was wearing a sparkly corset along with a strange matching sparkly top hat. We liked the little stories on the menu but they didn’t tell you what came in the dishes, which made me get it on my phone which then makes me look rude. The food was alright and the server was a little inexperienced and literally said he recommends everything on the drink and food menu, not much of a help. He didn’t give us the best experience. For wines, we asked for a dry white wine, and he just named all the wines as if he didn’t know. As far as food he said, «everything was good» and he recommended it all, and nothing more than that. I ordered the veal piccata dinner($ 32) and expected a nice plate with lots of flavor and got three pieces of veal, some broccoli and potato slices, not really worth $ 32. The picata sauce was all over the place, didn’t look that appealing, and had more of a sour taste than a lemony zest. My girlfriend had the rigatoni with vodka sauce and she liked it, but agreed it wasn’t worth $ 24. I like the ambiance and the drinks but I wouldn’t recommend the food or service here.

We came for our girls holiday dinner and after reading some iffy reviews about new owners and changes made at Randazzo’s, we were relieved to have an excellent meal. The service was a bit subpar — right from the moment we walked in we felt neglected. We were waiting for other members of our party to arrive for about 15 minutes or so but we had been seated at our table, and they could have at least offered to take our drink order. The place wasn’t crowded; it was a Thursday night and yet it took entirely too long for bread to arrive. They were also seemingly out of menus and had to pick them up and rotate them among us and the guests at other tables. Finally, they only had house wines available because they had not received their shipment, which was disappointing. On to the food — the real reason we’re here, right?! We started with the mozzarella«bread» as an appetizer which was like a giant mozzarella stick — gooey, crispy, delicious! The garlic bread they serve is also excellent and so is the dipping oil they have — it has pepperoncinis and spices so it has a nice bite to it. Our group had meat lasagna(a special for the evening), rigatoni alla vodka with prosciutto, and shrimp scampi. I tried a bit of everything and while my rigatoni alla vodka was on point and my pasta was COOKEDALDENTE(a rarity these days even in the best restaurants) I found the shrimp scampi linguine to be a bit over and the sauce itself extremely sour(too much acid). The lasagna was comforting and piled high as it should be though I did think it was a bit too cheesy and perhaps a tad unbalanced. We skipped dessert because it just didn’t seem feasible after bread, wine, and pasta, but I saw some going by and I wasn’t sure if I should be impressed — it all looked meh. I’m from NY so I know a good cannoli and I’m just not sure these were on par but I’ll definitely have to give them a shot the next time I’m there! A bit pricey overall($ 22-$ 26/entrée) but worth it because you’ll easily get two meals out of it!

I’m being generous with a 3 stars, it was more like a 2.5, but I don’t have that option and 2 stars seems a tad too harsh. I do love the menu though, it was very entertaining. The food was on the meh side. My veal piccata was too chewy, the calamari too wet, and the service, although ok, was a bit spotty. The cheesecake tasted way too old. Really, for the mostly good reviews, and it being a Friday night, I was expecting a bit more. Not to be wowed, but just better quality than what we got, especially since the dishes were a bit too pricey for the quality. I will say though, that you will most likely have enough to take home for another meal: the portions are huge! However, Not one of the 5 in my party was happy with their meal. The ambience is ok, although I think I would have preferred the 2nd floor. Will I return? I don’t think so.

As you walk into a palace filled with exquisite taste from the beautiful stained glass windows to the small little plastic green grapes dangling from a red and white painted roof making randazzos truly unique. I frequent the very best Italian restaurants such as Eataly and Tramonte and I have to say in my opinion the meatballs are better here at randazzos. The meatballs are a little different than the norm in regards to texture and softness. Randazzos meatball is so soft and nicely breaded that only one utensil is needed to split the meatball. It feels wonderful going down! From their most prominent server Henry Medina to the best cook on the block of miracle mile Marc Randazzo I was truly impressed. I will come back shortly Henry told me about their mouthwatering steak so I am definitely a fan of randazzos thank you for this special afternoon delight Marc and Yesenia!

Went to this place on a weekday to celebrate a coworker’s birthday and were served very well by the owner. The food was excellent and the service good, only have good things to say about my visit. We started off by ordering the calamari and took the owners’ suggestion of Monsanto Chianti, which went down nicely, be careful with this wine, you will feel it later. The server brought us bread with an spicy vinaigrette which was awesome if you can stand its heat. For entrees we ordered the seafood linguini and the snapper with pasta, both were delicious. Had a great experience at this place and will be returning for more.

Randazzo’s Little Italy has one hell of a superiority complex. I am in awe of the better reviews on here… Yes, the food is delicious, but sometimes, good food is simply not enough. I chose this place for my birthday dinner this year, and made a reservation for a large party. They seated us immediately, but it was 6pm so I was not anticipating having to wait much when we got there(we had our toddler in tow, as well as some senior citizens in our party). The elevator was broken, so we had to climb the stairs to our table, which was fine except for one person in our party who has horrible knee problems. She mentioned it, and they didn’t even offer to seat us downstairs. RUDE. Strike one. The menu is kind of limited, definitely not what I was expecting after a couple of people recommended the restaurant to me. There is nothing kid-friendly on it. I asked if they had anything simple and the snooty waiter basically said«sorry you’re S.O.L.» I figured I’d share my meal with my kid, in case she didn’t like the food, but there’s a TWELVEDOLLARSHARINGCHARGE. REALLY?! Umm, nope. Strike two. There was no iced tea. WHODOESN’T HAVEICEDTEA?! OR Lemonade? Again, the waiter was very snooty when asked about what there WAS to drink… Randazzo’s, is this a ploy to force everyone into a bottle of wine? Ugh, the more I reminisce about this place, the more I hate it. Strike three. You’re already out at this point, Randazzo’s…ensuring I will never return, with your nose-in-the-air attitude and your very limited options for both food and drink. You didn’t have to rub salt in the wound by taking about 30 minutes to get our check squared away. You’re lucky that what I ordered was pretty tasty, it was the saving grace of my birthday dinner.

Tried the meat balls and I was very disappointed. I, personally believe the frozen meatballs at public are wayyyyy better. I had the chicken parm and it was pretty good. The seating arrangements wasn’t that bad.
