Mimi’s Touch Salon

Love Mimi and the salon treats you like royalty from the second you walk in. Really it’s something else. Greeted sometimes with wine snacks coffee etc. The only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 is because I’ve literally have had a three hr wait for my appt. and unfortunately it’s happened every time I’ve gone, which sucks bc Mimi and her staff are the sweetest. Mimi once didn’t charge me for blow dry after that happened, but still Ive literally never had a appt. on time. :/

Mimi’s Touch is the best hair salon I’ve been to up to this day! I’ve always gone from salon to salon because either they don’t listen to what I want, or over cut my hair, or damage my hair or the ambience is crappy. Mimi’s is perfect, great vibe, she listens to you and will give you advice on what’s best for you to do to not over process your hair and make sure you’re happy with the results. She takes her time with you and is not happy until you’re happy and your hair looks spectacular. She gave me a great haircut and highlights and went back to get some more highlights and a trim. I took my mom to the salon as well and Mimi made her look 10 years younger! She is an artist. The salon is in Coral Gables and has very very good prices! Her staff is great as well, very attentive and outgoing ladies.

I have been really disappointed by the customer service here. I made an appointment to get my hair cut and manicure, but after my manicure it was clear that Mimi was behind and wouldn’t get to me for a while. I offered to reschedule which she accepted.
Before my next appointment I was called, and asked to come in later (after my appointment time), which I couldn’t do because I had plans. I rescheduled AGAIN and the next time, they asked me to come in later AGAIN. In fairness, they offered a free mani as an apology but I didn’t not accept. I don’t think it’s fair to consistently ask someone to come in later for an appointment they made in advance. This salon needs to really start becoming more organized and streamlined.

I have been coming to mimis for 3 years now! And she is amazing, i actually found mimis touch through Unilocal!Love mimi and her staff, they are very welcoming :), make sure to book your appointment with enough time since she is always busy! Never felt so at peace at a hair salon. From the moment I walked in Mimi and her staff treated me nothing short of that of a Queen. I was recommended by my friend who has been going to Mimi’s for years. I’m glad I went! I’ve found that salon where I leave feeling amazing and my hair looks flawless! Thanks to all the Unilocalers for recommending this place. Just came back from my first manicure/​pedicure here and loved it. They charge $ 37 for mani and spa pedicure. Salon is nice, modern, and most importantly clean. They carry a ton of Essie colors and have their latest collections.
I highly recommend Gladys who worked on me. She is meticulous and a perfectionist which is exactly what I was looking for. She redid a nail with a tiny speck I did not even notice. She removed all my excess cuticle and shaped my nails beautifully. I will definitely be back.

Great service! Mimi is the sweetest. Had a manicure and pedicure done by Gladys, she was great and very entertaining. Best part was the price… $ 37 for a manicure and pedicure in the Gables. Can’t beat that. I will definitely be back!

The minute you go in, you get a good vibe, thats because God’s greeting you. Theyre a family Christian who love what they do. Glaris was great doing my nails, very clean and efficient.

Wow! What was i thinking giving this place a not so good review! I finally was able to give this place another try and i LOVED IT they are so clean Mimi is the sweetest lady ever. I loved the attention they gave me the service is amazing everything is sterilized. They dont do designs but they did do a great job with my mani and pedi i was so happy there massages a great they use amazing products omg i cant get enough im making a new appointment and coming back ASAP

Sometimes a great relationship starts with a bump and at first I wasn’t so sure. After feeling like the «way of my hair» was not acknowledged, Mimi reached out to me to perfect her work. She wound up doing exactly as I was used to with a nice smooth blowout and a smile.
She is a true professional and takes great pride in her work. You will also enjoy a very pleasant environment and a happy staff.
She says she really wants happy clients and I believe that 100 percent.

Mimi is amazing, I actually found this place thanks to Unilocal more than two years ago, I was driving around on a Wednesday night, trying to find a place for a blow-​dry, when I called The salon Mimi herself, said to come over and she was gonna take care of me, and so she did!!! Since that night Mimis Touch its been my go to salon, even when I moved out of state, everytime I knew I was comjng down to Mia I’ll will call and make an appointment, I didn’t want anyone else besides her to cut my hair.
Mimi is very professional and creative, detail oriented and honest so she will let you know what works and what doesn’t.
Now that Im back in town this is not only my place to go for my hair, now also its my place mani pedi, and wax! 1 place for all my beauty needs!

I don’t usually do reviews, but Mimi is great. I was looking for a new hairstylist with more availability and saw Mimi’s reviews on Unilocal and they were all correct. She has an amazing personality and so do all the ladies that work there. Not only is her personality great, but she works magic with her hands. She definitely knows what she is doing.

A friend of mine referred me to Mimi when I wanted to go blonde. My hair had been so brittle and damaged from the keratin treatments I had done at other salons, she made sure that my hair was healthy before I became blonde. The service is outstanding and I always feel at home when I come here. Been coming to Mimi for 3 years now and I could never see myself with anyone else. My hair is at its best thanks to Mimi and her wonderful staff.

Amazing Service. Always treated like royalty. My hair was a hot mess and now it’s exactly what I wanted. Mimi has this magic about her that without saying much, she knows just what you want and need!!! Trust the process and she will deliver. Everyone is friendly and they always call to confirm you’re going. We show up with 5 – 6 friends and we can all have wine and have a girls night all while pampering ourselves!!!
