Very small grassy spot in the middle of roads, it is nice but odd. It has some benches and shady trees, and as a bonus the area around it has some beautiful buildings. There is parking for the park too!

A little, park and great respite in an otherwise busy intersection. Nice shade tree and a good place to meet friends before painting the town

I love Village of Merrick Park!!! If you come to Miami, it’s a must stop place. The beautiful landscaping, upscale stores, and regular brand stores, and many good restaurants. My favorite place is to dine is Villagio. Good food, good price, and lovely setting to enjoy during the day or evenings.

This is a cute little park right off the Mile. It doesn’t have much to offer, but if you’re meeting some friends for a workday lunch(what I did recently), it works great. There’s plenty of parking nearby and a couple tables. Give it a try!

My first memories of this park was the yearly Christmas park with the lit trees, Santa’s house and the big guy himself. Besides the pretty colored lights I also recall animated reindeer figures and Christmasy music. Now that I’m older, I prefer to think of it as a cool little oasis for a Friday«Winter» lunch with a couple of fellow Unilocalers. Thanks to Maria’s picnic UYE I had the pleasure of enjoying a brown bag lunch(from one of my favorite restos) with 3 good friends and meeting a new one! Besides where we were seated, there was another picnic table that made it perfect for about 5 or 6 people to socialize. Fun conversation, a good tree canopy that provided plenty of natural A/C, and the bonus of seeing two of the Art Basel snails. This is how Friday Lunch should be! P. S. to my friends in the Northern climes — Ha Ha! :)

Small park across the street from Coral Gables City hall– great space to go for a quiet lunch under the tree. It also serves as host to the start/finish of the Tour of the Gables 5K and the Tribute to the Military 5K races. Most importantly this time of the year(WINTER) they hold the Tree Ligthing and Winter Theme Park throughout the holidays. Excellent for families to bring their small children and partake in the holiday spirit activities.
