Gables Smile Aesthetic & Cosmetic

This a review based solely on the Zoom Whitening.
A few years back when I got my wisdom teeth removed I was prescribed a mouth wash that left my teeth yellow along with some stains. I tried doing multiple cleanings and deep cleaning with hygienists but it really wouldn’t make it any better. My husband suggested I do the Zoom Whitening, as he had done a few years back. I went to my dentist and to a hygienist and they both also suggested that it may be a good option, but that they weren’t entirely sure that the stains would definitely come out.
Anyhow, my husband had done the Zoom at Gables Smile, and we were lucky to find a Groupon to do it. I called a couple of weeks prior and scheduled the appointment. I did a lot of research on the procedure, and it is best if you have your teeth cleaned right before the Zoom. So, I had my cleaning scheduled that morning and in the afternoon I had the Zoom done.
During the procedure, they will put in a rubber mouth guard type of thing to protect your gums. Then, they will apply a gel to your teeth and you will be underneath the laser for 3 sessions of 15 minutes. I did not get any sensation for the first 2 sessions, but during the last one I started feeling multiple zingers. As soon as I started to look uncomfortable, I was done.
Now, the results were AMAZING! Though the technician said she was not sure it would come off, everything actually did come off. My teeth are now perfectly white and have no visible stains on them. I am SO glad I was able to bear through the zingers because it was definitely worth it!
However, I would suggest for anyone that wants to do the Zoom Whitening to consult their dentist and do their own research. If you have very sensitive teeth it may not be something you may want to do as the zingers are pretty feisty.
I knocked off a star from Gables Smile because I felt that the technician could have been a bit more communicative. Throughout the whole procedure, I had not a clue what she was doing but I could deduce from what I had read online. As well, I wasn’t given any proper guidance on to how to care for my teeth. She basically told me not to eat anything that could stain them for 3 days. I had to do the research on exactly what those things were.
Besides that, it wasn’t a pleasant experience but it was definitely worth it! I would do it again if I had to!
