Cosi Chic Blow Bar, Salon & Spa

Visiting and wanted a nice blow out after being on a cruise. I don’t recall my stylists name but she’s sweet, Puerto Rican with beautiful curly hair. She asked what I wanted and went to work. Precise, quick and on point. I recommend this salon to all of my friends in Miami and will be back when I travel.

The staff is great, so nice and welcoming. I have only ever done my hair (wash and blow) but they are my go to for a blow dry. They always do a great job and I leave with fabulous locks. My favorite stylists have to be Carol and Elio. The blow dries are also super affordable and they offer a great blow dry package! They alway try to accommodate me with appointments even when I call last minute.
Give this place a shot i promise you won’t regret it.

My hair was cut in this salon and LET ME TELL YOU HOW AMAAAAAAZING my hair is right now! I don’t even have to blow dry it for it to look beautiful. Best haircut ever ever. I got layers & bangs and could not be happier. As my hair was being cut, I was told exactly what was being done and what was being cut and frequently asked about how I wanted my hair to look before any big cuts. I got exactly what I wanted and more. Definitely coming back. It’s worth every penny!

I absolutely love going to the salon. Juan is great and is an amazing stylist. I love getting my extensions done with him. He is an artist when it comes to doing extensions! Best in Miami!

I have known the owner Juan and his family for over 10 years and he and his family are the sweetest most caring people you will ever meet. Juan has a true gift from God for doing hair. I started doing my hair with him years ago when he was doing hair from his house. He is trust worthy and truly listens to what his clients want done to their hair, and he is always willing to give his opinion if necessary. He will never let you down!!! I recommend this salon from the bottom of my heart.

Very knowledgable stylist! Juan an amazing blowout and haircut. He was even able to tone down my hair to take out the brassy tones I had. I will make sure to come back to get a deep conditioning treatment. Loved the service I received. Would recommend 100 percent.

Excellent service and very welcoming salon, from entrance to exit. Got a facial and a chemical peel by Julie Terrero and left my face glowing and rejuvenated. Already booked again for next month. Highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much!

Dear owner of cosí chic salon, if you would truly care about your customers you would have reach out to me to apologize and right YOUR wrong. Just like you wrote that beautiful essay saying that your place is amazing and that it’s my fault, you could have included there an «I’m sorry for our mistake, please come in to fir ur hair or if you already did we will give you a refund» this way you don’t look bad in front of other customers and you keep one (me). The only thing you did with your response is make yourself look bad. You have no idea how many people have contacted me saying that your response was horrible, and thanking me for saving them for what could have been an experienced like mine.
FYI: this is here so customers can leave comments about the business, good or bad. This was my experience, I wish it could have been better but it wasn’t.

I really wanted to leave this place a good review. I was super excited when I first went I read the reviews and thought thst it would be perfect place to do my hair but I was very wrong. The first time I went I told them that I wanted an ombré but I didn’t want it too yellow. The results was an orange ombré yes orange. I instantly hated it, I knew that there was something wrong by the way they looked at each other when he rinsed my hair.
I hated my hair so much that I went back not even a month after. I thought to give it another try maybe I was just crazy and my hair wasn’t really orange.
When I got there the second time I sit in the chair he let’s go of my hair and says your hair is orange. He starts critiquing my hair he never official said thought it was bad but I can see it in his face that he thought it was horrible. I’m my head I was like WTF really you did this shit, at that point I should have gotten up abs walked away but I was so desperate to get the orange our they I stayed. He went to get the bleach when he cones back he was like oh you’ve been here before, I don’t remember you leaving here with orange hair. At this point I was mad and embarrassed I told him that my hair does that, which it doesn’t!
OK so he asked what I wanted and asked if I had a picture of it, I don’t understand why he ask for a picture of he doesn’t fallow it. Yes he did get the orange out and yes he did give me the highlights I wanted but my hair is white! The highlights are white, neat my root they are find but tours the bottom they are white. I look like a grandma. He kk eat the bleach on for too long. Now Im with no money to fix this mess and I hate looking in the mirror.

In love with my loose curls! Excellent and friendly service. Carol is amazing and fast. Prices are fair, which is an added bonus. Will definitely come back :)

I love getting my nails done with Wanda! She’s the best! And they always make sure you leave with a smile on your face!

I am in every way satisfied with this salon. I called on a Monday which they’re closed and they answered my call and gave me an appointment for Tuesday morning. I got a color correction, treatment and blow dry done with Elio Chang. He is incredible ! I’ve never left a salon happy with my hair color until I came here. I also got 20% off for being a first time customer. Everyone was very friendly, I can’t wait until my next appointment. I posted a photo everyone should definitely go look at

Went there about a week ago, had my hair blown out and my nails done… FANTASTIC SERVICE! Not only where they super accommodating (bc I booked my appointment super last minute) they were hospitable and there was a wonderful sense of calm and teamwork that you don’t often find that other salons. They were very attentive and everything came out as I wanted it to. It’s been almost a week and my nails have been shipped and that’s a miracle for me so I give them very high praise. I am so glad I found the salon on Unilocal!!!I will most definitely be going there from here on out.

This is a beautiful salon and the staff is very friendly and professional. Wanda did my nails and Janet did my pedicure. Both take obvious pride in their work and each did a great job.
The pedicure area has those wonderful «thrones» with whirlpool for your feet and massage chairs. The icing on the cake was when someone brought around cups of Cuban coffee!
I highly recommend this hidden gem.

I had the pleasure of visiting Cosi Chic for the first time on Valentine’s day. I’d purchased a Gilt deal for a mani/​pedi and a blowout. I am usually hesitant to buy Gilt deals, however given the great reviews on Unilocal I decided to take a risk. I’m so glad that I did!
The salon is family owned and family operated. When I called to make my appointment the gentleman who answered the phone was polite and accomodating. The day of my appointment, my manicurist was running 15 mins late. Instead of making me wait in their lovely lobby, they were courteous enough to call and let me know about the delay. I was able to spend the extra time tending to my own tasks. Major brownie points in my book.
When I arrived at the salon, I was greeted warmly by the staff and offered a beverage of my choice. I had only made the mani/​pedi appt ahead of time. However, I saw another client getting a blowout and I wanted one immediately. Lucky for me, Cosi Chic was able to accomodate my whim.
I had my hair washed and dried by Carol. She was sweet as can be, and did a beautiful job. Also, so I’d make good time, Carol blow dried my hair while I got my manicure. Amazing service!
My manicure and pedicure were meticulous. A real mani/​pedi, not like what you get at a lot of local salons. My manicurist was Wanda, who happens to own the salon with her husband. Wanda was pleasant and proficient. She did an excellent job and made sure that I was comfortable throughout my manicure and pedicure.
The salon is beautiful and clean. Also, it’s quiet. Another rarity in Miami. The quiet makes for a relaxing environment. If you haven’t been to Cosi Chic, definitely check them out. I had a wonderul experience and you will too.

I’m so glad I found this lil gem of a salon, thanks to GILT. They were having a promotion for a $ 17 blowout and $ 17 for a mani/​pedi. I naturally, jumped on both deals.
Thanks to the coupons, this is now my go-​to salon. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The salon is kept in pristine conditions and is adorably chic. The pricing, fantastic.
I used my first coupon for an updo for a black-​tie event I had, and the stylist John, did exactly what I wanted. I only had to pay an extra $ 10.00 on top of coupon to pay the difference (I was also told this when making the appointment, so there were no surprises). Which with the job he did, it was worth every penny.
I went back on another occasion for my mani/​pedi coupon. Same experience. An absolute pleasure and a gorgeous manicure. I kid you not, it lasted TWO & A HALF WEEKS. And I DID NOT do shellac and on top of that I choose a dark color, which we all know dark colors somehow manage to chip faster. But not this mani/​pedi.
Seeing as my two GILT experiences were so fabulous, I decided to try them out with no coupons for a full on haircut and blowdry.
Juan, who is the owner, gave me my haircut. Best haircut, I’m still getting compliments everyday. He was incredibly attentive, listened and suggested. It was the first time in a long time that I felt so comfortable and knew that my haircut was going to be everything that I wanted.
I have to say, I’ve been chasing that «white elephant» ever since my hair stylist moved away. I’ve bought countless coupons and deals for beauty services to see if I can fill that void, but sadly, I always end up disappointed and continue on with my chase. Well, I can FINALLY say I found my white elephant.

Went in with a gilt city coupon for a blow out and couldn’t be happier. The owner john is extremely nice and did a beautiful job blow drying my curly hair. I will return.

I was in dire need, yes dire, of a haircut. I had walked past Cosi Chic numerous times, and it is busy morning, noon, and night. I, nervously, decided to give it a shot.
Well, I walked out raving and a loyal customer (good thing I have my loyalty card!)
I made an appointment with John, explained to him that I didn’t want much cut off, and held my breath.
The salon is sparkling and well kept, the coffee is a nice touch, and John and the entire staff was very friendly. There is definitely a family-​like atmosphere.
First time customers receive a 20 percent discount, and it is very reasonably priced.
I have found my hair a new home, and I will certainly be returning next time I need a cut!

Absolutely loved my manicure and pedicure. Have gone there twice and will continue to go just because they are great and the price is reasonable! I’ve also had a haircut and it was fabulous! I don’t trust most with my hair and took a leap of faith and landed in great hair land! :)

I purchased a coupon for a mani-​pedi for this salon from Gilt City. It was a great deal and though I had never been there, I thought I might take a chance. Very conveniently located in the heart of South Miami, this delightful little spot offers all types of nail services, blow dry service, miscellaneous spa treatments, and also provides full salon service. Unlike some of the «sweat shop» type salons in this city, the space is cozy and comfortable, with lush interior design and friendly, welcoming staff. This business is family-​owned, which really shows. From the moment I walked in, I felt as though I was being welcomed into their home rather than an impersonal salon space. Although they do not have a website ready just yet (they’re relatively new to the city, they’ve only been open a couple of months), they do offer individual consultations for hair services provided by the head stylist, who also happens to be the owner. Browsing through the portfolio of his work, and seeing it firsthand, as he’s styled at least a few employee’s heads, one can see the quality of work they provide.
Overall a great experience, as they continue to provide great service I will continue to spread the word about them!
