Cherry Blow Dry Bar – Coral Gables

First time here and loved it! I heard from this establishment from Miami Today. Nicole did my daughter’s hair for her prom — amazing! They were on time, super courteous, offered drinks to my daughter and I. They should have prom specials with hair and make– up and sample pictures. Highly recommend.

I wish i could give this place more stars! i have long super thick hair and not to mention after some color process my hair is pretty damaged, but i always leave there looking great ! i have the unlimited membership and it is soooo worth it! i go about twice a week and i get compliments all the time. i have done my hair with almost everyone there and no one has disappointed. i look forward to having my «me «time there. the staff is great the facility is beautiful and clean. I definitely have found my new spot.

The only reason I will give this place two stars is because of the hair stylist being extremely friendly. However I just got a half done blow dry and some waves that only lasted until I got to my car. Save yourself the time!

Last week was my first time here and I absolutely loved my hair. I have thick, curly hair and Tanya did an amazing job. I found her because I read the other reviews. I usually go to the Blo Bar in Merrick Park but they had no appts in the morning. The only thing I didn’t like was the price of full makeup – their flyer says $ 45 and at the salon says $ 60. For express makeup the flyer says $ 30 and the sign in the salon says $ 45. The flyer I have I got it from Alex. If the prices on the flyer are not accurate, then they shouldn’t be handing them out. Overall the experience was amazing and the staff is very courteous and attentive. I am definitely coming back!

Highly recommend. I have a lot of thick curly hair that is a beast to tackle. Tanya tamed my mane in under and hour (including a wash), which is unheard of. The staff is friendly, the appointments are taken on time, the place is tastefully decorated. What I loved most is that the stylist did not resort to letting the flat iron do all the work for her, she dried my hair with a giant round brush so that it has a great amount of bounce and shine. This is so much better than any other blow dry bar.

This place is exactly what I was looking for & at a great price! As soon as Michelle started washing my hair I knew I was in good hands! She took her time and didn’t rush throughout the two shampoos and conditioning (grant it my hair was really dirty) and was so sweet and polite throughout the whole time I was there. She blowdried and styled my hair just as I wanted and also maintained great convo while I was in the chair (there is nothing worse at least for me than a silent hair stylist). I was offered a water, tea or champagne and I chose champagne of course ;) which is a simple gesture that many places overlook and the customer service (which is a priority for me) is wonderful. Greeted by name when I came in (mind you it was my first time) and as I left again wished me a great day and weekend. It’s very clean and calming environment. Best thing of all for someone like me who hates doing their hair, they have an unlimited package for 139.00 a month which I eagerly signed up for! Another positive is that they are open 7 days a week and as early as 7am which is perfect to go before work! Can’t wait to go back to my next appointment!

If you want the best blow out, curls or waves go to Cherry! The entire staff is incredibly nice and very talented. I go about 3 times a week and regardless of what I get done I walk out happy. The unlimited monthly membership was a no brainer, everyone should get it. Thanks Cherry for making sure I always look great!

Ashley was great! My hair is tough to straighten and she did an amazing job with it, she gave me the look that I was looking for! Bonus was the scalp massage! Thank you!

NOT HAPPY from the wash to the way my hair was done by Soh (Chinese Male) sorry if he wasn’t Chinese. Walking into the place showed a clean, fancy location, the owner (or women who looked like the owner or manager very nice. The experience from getting my hair washed I knew it was starting to go wrong, I had my hair shampoo only one time and condition right after something I’ve never seen done, and when he dried my hair with the towel my hair was splashing water all over my face… now time for the real truth of all my doubting feelings… when Soh started blow drying he used a round brush for the front of my hair and when he moved to the back he started just drying with his fingers and the hair dryer, and I asked if he was going to dry it more because it felt wet… he stated «it must be your fingers that are cold» I was surprised about his response, so I explained to him that I wanted my hair completely blow dry and then iron, he stated «because your hair is short it will hurt your neck» AGAIN! I was surprised to his response, but I said please blow dry my hair and then iron, like that it would be less damage to my hair, so he started with a few parts of it with the brush and just went ahead to use the iron not caring to what I had just explained… I was about to get up from the chair and just leave, but JESS came to the rescue and gave me that silk finish look, but even though it was saved for that moment, it doesn’t feel or look as I expected to look, but it is a lot better than it was, but my hair feels frizzy, and puffy. I will not be going there again.

This place is heaven sent!!! Twice I made an appointment during the holiday’s last minute (on the same day) they accommodated me wonderfully. Not only do they accommodate you but the treatment when you arrive is spectacular. They offer drinks, water, and champagne. I usually go in for a wash and blow dry. The way they wash your hair and massage your scalp is incredible. Both times I’ve request the blow dry to be different, once was more flat it came out beautiful and the second was with lots of volume. All I know is that she pinned it up blow dried, put some spray and when she finished I was a super model!!! They offer make up, updos and even braids. Their work and treatment is on point. They don’t cut hair but if you need a nice blow dry or updo for a special occasion definitely try them out.

Excellent experience at Cherry! So happy to have found it thru Unilocal.The salon is super cute and everyone including the owner, Yani are extremely nice and friendly. Needed a last minute appointment and was able to get an appointment a few minutes later and did not have to wait for my stylist. Love the fact they open early by appointment and on Sundays. I will definitely come back soon. Best of luck.

Waste of a blowout. I told the dude I wanted curls, he literally dried my hair so straight it looked like it has been flat ironed. They also took forever. Go to BLO instead.

I loved it! Every, single little detail was great! My appointment was taken on time. My wash with scalp massage was excellent. My blow out with soft curls was one of the best I’ve ever gotten. The service was great and with a smile. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be back.

I never write reviews or complain for that much, but today I’m extremely upset with the service I received at Cherry.
It was my first time at this blow bar, and I was hoping I’d find my new go to spot, but I was wrong. I got my hair done by Nicole, and I must say I have never been more disappointed. I hate complaining and since it’s Christmas I didn’t want to start an issue, I didn’t mention it at the salon, but I am now forced to come
home and iron my own hair.
As I looked at my hair, the bottom of my hair is not straightened. All I asked for was a sleek, silky look with loose waves (as I’ve done forever at Blo Blow Bar). My hair is puffy, STILL wet & frizzy– she put NO effort into my hair AT ALL. I’m a usual customer at Blo, and I have NEVER left the salon looking like this. I am so upset.
Its now Christmas Eve, I’m out of $ 35 for NOTHING, and I have to come home and do my OWN hair. I will not return.
I give this salon 2 stars because the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming and every other girl who was getting their hair done from someone else looked FABULOUS. Can’t believe this.
Word of advice: If you’re tired, don’t work.

If you’re looking for superb blow dry services in Miami, look no further! I recently moved to Miami from the Dominican Republic (known worldwide for their excellent hair salon service). To say the very least, I have very high standards when it comes to the entire hair salon experience. I basically lived in the hair salon back in the Dominican Republic, almost never styling my hair at home. Since moving to Miami a month ago, I visited a few of salons and wasn’t crazy about any of them. I decided to turn to Unilocal to help me find the perfect choice in my area of Coral Gables. I was mainly interested in finding a salon that offered professional blow dry services for an affordable price.
I made my first appointment at Cherry Blow Dry Coral Gables at 2pm on a Friday. I was greeted by a lovely woman at the front desk and only waited a minutes. I may not know how to style my hair myself, but I do know a thing or two on hair care products, this salon does not disappoint!
The lady that washed my hair took her time to get the shampoo to a full lather and massaged the product for various minutes. The deep conditioner she chose for me left my hair soft to the touch. During the process of drying my hair, I was offered something to drink. I think this is a small gesture that sadly is overlooked by many salons here in Miami. I chose one style from the six available and was in love with the final look! Will definitely be visiting again! If you live in the Coral Gables area, you must try them! You won’t regret it!

My new obsession! I love this place they do great work and have quality hair products. I like their shampoos because they are light most blow outs use heavy shampoos but these are just prefect for every day. Their membership is a steal with unlimited blow drys! I recommend booking in advance so you get a convenient time. I booked with Devon and he was great last time but everyone I have used did quality work! Such a great edition to the mile. My only complaint is parking but that’s with anything on the mile.
