Great cozy place to get a fast bite to eat and off coarse a cafecito. I highly recommend Als to anyone in the area, they have been a gables staple for 13 years!

So I’ve been ordering from Al’s Coffee Shop for the past 5 years and couldn’t go wrong with them. They were absolutely great! Within the past few months I’ve noticed downfalls. They are right across the street from where I work and have been taking up to an hour to deliver my food! I usually order their croqueta breakfast sandwich off their breakfast menu online, then one day physically went and ordered it and they had no idea what I was talking about. I told them I order this at least once a week how do you not know what I’m talking about. So that right there pissed me off. I haven’t been ordering from them as much anymore because I can’t rely on them getting here on time and I waste my lunch hour on nothing. They make good food but the service and delivery times are awful.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I’ve been ordering from this place for over 6 years now, and 3 years from my current location which happens to be across the street. Food is just ok and they screw up the order ¼ times but the food is convenient and inexpensive. Not only have I placed delivery orders about twice a week myself but everyone in my office has as well give or take the same number of times a week. Today I placed a delivery order for two(2) of their specials and was told that«we don’t deliver specials. In the 20 years I’ve been here we have never delivered specials’. I replied«I’ve been placing this same order for years». Their response, «that’s not possible». This is BS as I’ve been placing delivery orders for specials for years and have never had an issue until today. Then, I believe the manager got on the phone and said ‘we’re not delivering specials today’. This contradicts what the person I was previously speaking with told me. I then told them I would never order from them again. Their response, ‘ok’.

I used to love Als but the last 3 times I ordered they sent me only half of my order and make me wait 30 min to get the other part after calling them and the last time my coworker ordered for all of us in the office and she asked to please make sure the order was fine to avoid that problem again and the guy in the phone said«I’ll do my best» we received the delivery and guess what? 2 orders were missing, we called and the person on the phone said that we never place those two orders and then said that those were on the way with a different delivery guy, so after 30min we got the other two orders, I felt bad for the delivery guy since he is not the one who organize the orders, obviously the manager doesn’t care about his customers, you are losing 12 customers that order at least 3 times at week. Never again.

Great spot to grab a quick bite. They have the best croquetas in town, and every Tuesday they’re only .25 cents. Staff is super nice, you will never be disappointed with service. And last but not least they deliver… Always a plus, and it’s free!

Pretty dang good! I usually work nights and they’re long since closed by then. But today I opened and was able to give them a shot. 8.50 for the biggest croissant breakfast sandwich I have ever seen and a steaming hot cup of coffee. It was delivered 15 minutes ago and it’s still too hot to drink. Delivery was fast, food was no frills, tasty and well cooked. Will order from Al’s again!

This little café is truly a hidden gem. The salads are a great option for lunch and the sandwiches are pretty good too for breakfast. One HUGE tip: keep an eye out for when they have pan con lechón… One of the very best I’ve had in Miami! Call them to check when they’re making it becuase it’s not an everyday dish.

So I placed an online order for their daily bail out salad which stated to be «popcorn chicken Cobb». When the order was delivered, to my dismay, it was a Greek tuna salad. So I call to advise the wrong salad was delivered, and I was told that I was wrong. I told them what I saw online, and they continued to argue with me regarding my order. The gentleman then proceeded to place me on hold, not realizing he never did, and said that I was going off on him and also saying he was going to hang up on me. I heard everything! And then, he hung up! I mean, really?! Get your customer service together guys, cause the food ain’t that good either! 2 thumbs way down!

I’ve been ordering croquetas from Al’s every Tuesday since I started working in the Gables and so far my office has yet to be disappointed! Al has the best croquetas and service! They even went as far to bring me an official shirt before I leave Miami. If you love great food and even better croquetas– Al’s is the spot.

If you are in a rush for lunch and work in the Gables area, Al’s Coffee Shop is the place to go. They treat you like family and very professional. The food is fresh and hot. The line moves very fast and the food is amazing. I love the fries, Sloppy Joe and steak sandwich etc. I highly recommend them. They are in the Bank Atlantic Building.

I love this place! My favorite wrap is the Turkey Philly Protein Wrap. I have never tasted a wrap so yummy as this one. They are quick for take out and you are in and out in secs. Why 2 starts and not all 5? 1.When I call they never give me the total EVER! 2.They are so quick to hang up on you they never tell you how long it’s going to take EVER! 3. When I decided I couldn’t go over there and wanted delivery I asked the guy how much was the total(cause of course he was gonna hang up quickly) he gave me a condescending answer. «It’s gonna be $____like they all are sweetie» SWEETIE? Excuse me? First of all what if I was a new customer? How was I suppose to know the price?! Second never call someone sweetie especially when you sound annoyed on the phone. I was gonna give this review a 3 but after typing this up and reliving what I wrote i went back to a 2.

The best part about Al’s Coffee Shop is that they provide extremely fast delivery. I order often from the Coral Gables area and receive my food in 15 – 20 minutes. My co-workers regularly order from this place because the food tastes good, it’s reasonably priced, and we receive our food quickly even if we order at noon. I’ve ordered the pan con bistec many times, and I’ve never been disappointed. It tastes great and is only $ 5.49. I wanted to try something new so I ordered the BLT sandwich. It tasted OK(How can you mess up bacon, lettuce and tomatoes?) but the bread was very stale. That was probably my only negative experience with Al’s. I ordered my food on the phone with Tony that day and he was a bit rude, but overall, their service is excellent. I always place my order with a credit card on the phone, and I don’t really like that they write out my entire card number with the expiration date on the receipt. I’ve never had an issue with that of course, but it’s not convenient. Overall, I recommend Al’s if you are ordering lunch and want a reasonably priced meal with fast delivery.

Al’s coffee shop has the fastest delivery and when I say fastest I mean it you can literally order your meal and have it at your office within 10 minutes. The food is good and very cheap. They offer a recession special menu which has salads for $ 5.00 and wraps for $ 4.00. Al’s is definitely a go to lunch spot for all my coworkers and I, speaking of which here comes my wrap now.

Ordered some sandwiches and wraps today from Al’s while at work. Let me first say that, if you’re in the Gables/Miracle Mile area, chances are that you’ll get your food FAST. At noon, we ordered way too late. I mean, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Your stomach rumbles, you look up from your computer, you check your clock, and you realize that you’ve waited for the lunch rush to order delivery. In other words, you’re screwed. Al’s, it seems, doesn’t play by the same rules. Lunch for about eight was delivered within twenty minutes, which, in my experience, is pretty unheard of. Al’s menu is a little odd. It’s separated into categories — healthy, favorites, chicken, etc. — and it provides a set of numbers under each for easy ordering. In looking it over, under the healthy section, I spotted — and subsequently ordered — the turkey and hummus wrap, which comes loaded with the two and feta, cucumber, tomatoes, and lettuce. Now, normally, I don’t even have to think twice about ordering a side. It’s something of a must for me. Today, though, I chose not to, and let me tell you, it was the right choice. The wrap was freaking huge. Not only that, but it was really tasty, and I could even have subbed grilled chicken for the turkey had I wanted it a little heartier. I don’t know where Al’s is, and I have no idea if it’s trendy or divey or if it has working plumbing, but I do know that they make a solid wrap and get it to you before your stomach starts sucking up against your spine, so it’s tops in my book.

Breakfast and an iced tea snapple for $ 8. It’s a little convenience store looking coffee shop. Reminds me of New York City where office buildings have coffee shops/breakfast and lunch spots on the first floor of office buildings. About 4 tables for eat-in. Not bad, not great, just convenient.

im very happy to add al’s to our regular lunch time delivery routine. seriously we have probably ordered from the at least 3/week for the past couple months. its shocking we had never heard of them till this past summer but are so glad we found out! they deliver super fast, less than 15 minutes and we usually have orders for at least 4 people. all of the wraps are delicious and very fresh. the meatball parm, turkey hummus, havana, are some standouts. the salads are a very nice portion. my favorite is the tuna salad but the chef looks reallllly good too! the pan con bistec, cheeseburger, als chop, are all awesome choices too. we are very happy with al’s quality, service, pricing, and delivery time!
