This was my favorite place to eat but the food slowly stopped being as well made toward the end before it closed. Sad. Loved it.

I would actually give this a 4.5. If you are looking authentic old school Italian this is not the place. But if you want delicious Italian style, this is a good place. I’m in town on business and wanted a nice place to eat and craved italian and wanted wine too. I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and one of their small salads to start off. Good wine, but awesome salad that was far from small. Candied walnuts and goat cheese and a yummy vinaigrette just complimented the field greens and each other so well. My colleague and I really enjoyed it. Then I ordered the Chicken Sfizio and it positively tasty. Unfortunately at the end I had no more room for dessert. But if I get sent back here for business I’m definitely going back to Sfizio!

The ONLY reason I’m not giving them 5-stars is their drink prices! $ 7 for a Peroni draft? Seriously!!! Martinis are good too, but too small for price. HOWEVER, their food is delicious, very well priced, and portions are huge! Pizza is made right in the bar area as you’re watching TV. Bartenders are helpful, pleasant and polite. I really love this spot, but PLEASE lower your beer prices as they are just too high.

First review ever. This place was fantastic. Waiter made suggestions for everyone and it was amazing! Try the Rigatoni Rustico. The lemon cake was also great.

Decent food.. I would say more but service for our group was on the ehhh side. And we were sat off in a side room so couldn’t even see the brick oven for our pizzas… so it was kinda like every other regular restaurant. Nothing special.

Food is great, but the service is really slow. They never move the appetizer dishes out of the way for the next course meals.

My wife and I came in just to have drinks before our flight but then it turned into dinner and dessert. This place is great! Our server John L. was the nicest and helped turn our stressful day into a very relaxing evening. We will be back without a doubt and we will be bringing friends. I highly recommend this place! When you come in get a pizza and if they have it get the chocolate cake it is to die for.

Amazing experience!!! I came in with a horrible attitude after a terrible day and John L. completely turned it around! I was convinced i was coming just for some wine and he recommended the calamari for an appetizer with my wine. The dinner rolls i had in the mean time were amazing and the calamari was fantastic! I continued with a wood fired chicken and pesto pizza per Johns recommendation and it was again, AMAZING. For dessert he recommended this chocolate cake which is made locally, and it was just the perfect amount of sweet to turn my horrible day into an amazing one!!. Thank you John for a great ending to a very stressful day. HIGHLY recommend him, and this restaurant!

Absolutely the best lunch I have had in quite some time! I opted for the Spaghetti Livornese and a house salad, delicious! I mean, really really good. Lunch prices reasonable, around 10.00 for my huge entrée and salad. If you haven’t been here, give it a try… You will not be disappointed!

The only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars, is the fact that my pasta wasn’t amazing. It was good, no doubt, but did it deserve an entire five stars? Nah, it cold have been a little better. Don’t get me wrong… it was good. I’m not complaining. But I’m not going to rush back there because I craved that specific dish. What was even better than my pasta? …the service, the bread, and the calamari. This is the second time I’ve been here. The first time, the calamari was okay. This time around, the calamari was pretty perfect. Tender, not chewy, at all. Nice light breading. Seasoned just right with a tiny bit of spicy. Delish! The bread was served with olive oil and a bit of balsamic. It was soft, warm, with a touch of sweet. They bring this to your table, complimentary, when you order. My server John, was friendly, knowledgeable, and bugged me the right amount. He showed up when he needed to, and he made sure I was happy with my choices. He was enthusiastic, and he seemed like an experienced server. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I think it’s great. The service is great, I really like the guys in the bar(there is one that is odd, but that’s a different story). The food is good, a bit salty but I think it’s good. I enjoyed the meatball pizza and the cannoli. The beer on tap is also good, not as good as J Macklins but it’s good. Worth a visit.

Great service and very comfortable atmosphere. My wife had the Chicken Marsala. Dark sauce and very flavorful, one of the best tasting Marsala sauces I have had. One of the few places that puts the Marsala sauce on the pasta(without having to request)! I had the Linguini Fruiti de Mare in red sauce. Big shrimp, plenty of clams and really full of flavor! This place is definitely on the return list!

We had an excellent experience at this cozy little Italian Bistro! The service was top notch as the waiter was very attentive and the owner took the time to stop by our table to chat with us. I got the new arugula salad & I loved it. The owner even appreciated feedback on the new dish and told me how to make the dressing :) The bread was warm and fresh. My husband’s Spicy Rigatoni dish was also awesome. A previous Unilocaler commented about the Olive Garden feel of the bistro. I couldn’t disagree more. Completely different atmosphere with a wood-fired oven, unseen at ‘olive garden’. We’ll definitely make our way back during the summer as they have a cute outdoor patio to sit at and sip a glass of their Chianti wine during happy hour! We give this local restaurant a thumbs up :)

We had great food and excellent service! The menu had a good selection and we choose several appetizers which included the meatballs, caprese salad, and the calamari. They also recommended their house wine which was very good and a nice change from the typical wines you would get from more well known restaurant chains. It is nice to have a good restaurant in Coppell and it will be at the top of our list of restaurant choices in the immediate area.

My family and I had our first visit to Sfizio last night, I can say one VERY positive thing about it– their service is great. We had a big group(10 people) celebrating my birthday and our waiter/waitress did an amazing job of taking care of us, even going so far as to go across the street and get milk so my 3 y.o. nephew could have some with his dinner. Like I said– AMAZING service. We were greeted by the owner on entrance, and he seems like a very nice guy. However– I was deeply disappointed to find that the menu had just recently changed from the one I had seen on their website. I chose Sfizio because I wanted non-Olive Garden type Italian food. Something more than the usual lasagna, chicken Caesar salad and chicken Alfredo. Unfortunately– that’s exactly what the new menu looks like. Too bad, it also tastes a bit like that too :/Mom ordered the sirloin medium rare and received it WELL done, along with some steamed vegetables that were completely unseasoned. Husband and little brother ordered Dinner sized Chicken Caesar Salads and received salads in a bowl the same size they served my 5 year old his kid’s sized spaghetti in. For a $ 10 salad!!! My dish was OKAY– I had the mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari in red sauce– I’d advise them to perhaps remove the tails from the shrimp next time. Overall– not a stunning dining experience– in fact I regret not choosing our family’s old stand by favorite in Irving instead. It wasn’t an AWFUL experience– but I’d rather them have kept the high prices and the seemingly better menu, than cut costs and serve what they did. ALSOPLEASEADVERTISEYOURCURRENTMENUONYOURWEBSITE. PEOPLECHECKTHESETHINGSBEFOREGOINGOUTTOEAT. HAD I SEENTHECURRENTMENU I WOULDHAVECHOSENTOGOELSEWHERE.(then again, maybe that’s why they don’t post the current menu…)

I really like the atmosphere. The wine bar, wood burning pizza oven, and wood-look tile floor create a very warm environment. I would prefer music to the TVs in the background. The basketball game is really out of place. I am surprised to see a pretty damn good beer selection, good enough for me to stop here after work just for a drink sometime. The house salad is good enough to get on its own for lunch. It has a good variety of flavors. The seafood dish I ordered looks great. It is well cooked and well seasoned. I only wish I had more. I will be back.

Food was bland, wonderful presentation but just not of my caliber. It’s always busy & filled with locals(who have no culture) & never cross the city limits. The owner said hi to me by accident then passed by to speak with some regulars. Cute bar selection & they are trying to make an effort to offer cocktails. Pros– happy hour & brick fire wood pizzas Cons– it’s Coppell
