I’m not sure why Unilocal locates this place in Coos Bay when it’s actually located in Charleston. It’s an odd little building. Almost looks like it was once a church that turned into a bar. Anyway, it’s where all the locals go to get a good meal in this small town. Very rustic inside with a bar like setting. Fairly clean place… except for the bathrooms. NO No NOPE. Dirty and toilets don’t work very well. Just AVOID the bathrooms and you will be fine! I grabbed a to-go fish and chips basket. You get 3 med. sized pieces of fish. Lightly battered fish that tasted great. Moist and melted in your mouth kind of great. A handful of hand cut fries that were super crispy and tasted fresh. Then… a huge amount of coleslaw on the side. Not a fan of coleslaw, but it tasted really good. I’d go back again.

We were staying at the Bandon Golf Resort and decided to go ‘off campus’ to get some local food. We always try to find a place that the locals really like. Millers at the Cove was a great choice. Easy to find even if it was a little bit off the beaten path. But the journey was well worth it. The staff was very friendly, offering tastes of draft beers and samples of their soups. The green chili stew was outstanding. We shared an Oysters Rockefeller and it was very flavorful. I had the Crab Tacos and my friend had the Crab Melt sandwich. Everything tasted very good and the portions were generous. If you’re looking for a local gem best Bandon or Coos Bay — Millers at the Cove is the place!

Great little sports pub situated near the Charleston Marina on the Oregon Coast! Great beers, nice bar, really good seafood selection, lots of screens to watch a game. Very friendly customer service. I had the halibut fish and chips and was not disappointed. We will definitely be visit again if we are in the area.

This place is nice and cozy and the perfect neighborhood bar with outstanding food. We came in for a few beers and had a great conversation with the owner about how the bar came about. When you have such a great friendly environment it really allows for a relaxing evening. We had the chips and salsa and the chips came out warm and fresh! The fish tacos some on here didn’t like but I loved them. Yes, they are simple but sometimes that’s all you need when they have the right flavored touch! We will be back for sure!

Stopped here for lunch. Someone posted that the clam chowder was brothy. Not at all. It was thick and creamy. The clams and potatoes were tender. There were fresh herbs. It was great! If you’re needing chowder, go here! My husband had the cod fish and chips. They were very good too. Friendly people, and not super noisy like some sports bars.

Friendly, laid back establishment with comfort food & good beer. I took a couple of family members here while they were in town and it was busy but the waitress took good care of us & we liked our food. Will come again!

Great food, good drinks, nice selection of beers, efficient and friendly service. Had the oyster bacon burger, a solid crab melt, and a nice clam chowder. Place was full but attentive service nonetheless.

Really dissapointed in the fish tacos! If people think this place is good, then you need to get out of town more often. Lol. The taco consisted of fish, onion, and cabbage. No salsa, no yummy sauce, etc.

Great taco sampler and crab cocktail(crab with great)! Came hungry and left very satisfied and happy. Pair $ 10.00 taco sampler with 7 Devils local IPA for a super meal. Taco special on Monday. Server funny and personable. Don’t miss this place:)

Yes the fries are magical and I hate fries. We had seared scallops, halibut tacos, local beer. What’s not to like? Plus, comfy atmosphere and great service.

Great for a Sports Pub Keep your culinary expectations in reality, and have a great time. Tasty pub fare. Exceptionally friendly staff. Very convenient location(when staying at Captain John’s Motel). I would refer my friends.

Louise here on the OR coast looking for the best fish and chips. Found a great little sports pub right here in Charleston. Actually, this is a repurposed church! Can I hear a «hallelujah and praise the Lord.» Service was fast and effecient and the Cod fish fresh off the boat. Chips were mediocre but the fresh slaw and good selection of beer made up for it. We will be back.

Seafood is fresh and prepared brilliantly. The service is excellent, we are visiting from Bend Oregon and will return next year, just loved the fish tacos, clam chowder and the clams in bacon wine broth were excellent. Yum, yum

I came in for lunch and they have a really good variety of food. I had the cod fish n chips and they were a little too greasy. Fries were very good. We also had the combination plate food was OK portion was a little small. It’s a good choice if you don’t want to make drive into Coos Bay.

The food at Millers is always fresh, fast and tasty. The service however is always lacking. We went on a busy Sunday, full-house, and spent 1.5 hours there. Our server came over once! Meanwhile the server at the table behind us was very attentive and was at her table every few mins. We planned on ordering dinner but only got drinks since no one came to our table after 45 mins of sitting with empty glasses. Luckily two other servers(not the original) asked if we needed anything. We let one know we hadn’t seen our server in 45 mins. She apologized and refilled our drinks. Another 30 mins later we received our checks from another server. Honestly not sure what our server was on, but she doesn’t even quality as a server since she didn’t serve us. We had out of town guests with us and we’re embarrassed after talking this place up to them.

I was on the search for some delicious clam chowder in the Coos Bay Area which brought me to this restaurant. My husband hates seafood so we were pleased to find this place with lots of non-seafood options. He ordered a pork sandwich with the green chili. He said his sandwich was okay but nothing special. However, the green chili was AMAZING! Pretty spicy and super flavorful, mmmm sooo good! I had the fried fish tacos and clam chowder. WOW! I enjoyed both as well. We also ordered some tasty draft beers that were nice and cold. What I thought set this place apart from the rest was the service. They were so friendly and quick. I felt welcomed which isn’t always the case when you’re somebody just passing through. I’d definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Very friendly staff. The food was average. Party of four and everyone in the group felt the same. We probably would not return for the food when visiting again.

This place was recommended to us by the girl at Fishermen’s Wharf about two blocks away because they were out of crab to our dismay!!! The place is super cute and divey. We sat at the bar and our server was great! He was patient and answered all our questions with a smile :) We were hungry so we got a few things to share. The clam chowder is really different than what were used to: more brothy than creamy, and big chunks of potato! The calamari was fresh and crispy and I mixed marinara with their lime aioli and it was SO good! Then came the tacos: the shrimp was adorable, and our reason for being in a crabbing town, the Dungeness crab was SO delicious! It left me wanting more so we ordered the crab cake to finish off the meal. It is ALL crab, hardly any filler, and super fresh! Go here. You won’t regret it!

Super Lecker! Top Preis-Leistung!

Great spot for lunch. I loved my clam chowder and crab tacos. He was particularly pleased with his cup of green chili and also enjoyed his grilled cheese with a vinegar based cole slaw. Wish that we could have tried other things on the menu. So many good choices. No wonder the restaurant was packed with what seemed to be locals including one large party. Service was good in spite of that was going on.
