The worst service provider ever. Late on bill once, seriously 4 to 5 calls a day to remind me. Modem goes out about twice a month and have to sit on hold and punch a ton of buttons to get through their annoying automated service to finally talk to the Phillipines. CHARTERSERIOUSLYSUCKS.

It is December 2015 in April 2015 I had an installation to my new home in the bedroom where the installer broke a glass on my sideboard they’ve only offered to give me $ 130 I live in the middle of nowhere and it’s at least $ 250 charge hearsay but there’s nobody to come out to give me another estimate they’re only going by Charter’s estimate ‘im sixty years old disabled on a fixed income so what up with a charter community” com! where they help people they didn’t help me and I’m still waiting months later. Please anybody do not watch those false advertisement TV commercials they put on that say they are helping the community they so do NOT!!! Hey Charter community dot com, I need insulation in my home can you help me with that since you’re not going to fix my sideboard

If I could give ZERO I would! Thank the good Lord I don’t have to use Charter where I live, but unfortunately my elderly mother who lives in North Bend, OR does. I set up her cable service for her and asked that I be put on the account as an authorized user because I am POA and I handle her finances. Guess what? That did not happen. I never recevied a bill, but they did get the phone number right and called me to say I owe 184.30 and pay up or we are turning off your service. I called to ask what on earth she owes that much for, but they can’t tell me I’m not an authorized user. I want to pay the bill but I can’t have the account number, I can’t know what the 184.30 is for because I’m not an authorized user. I faxed over the POA and a letter requesting I be added to the account to the number they gave me, but they didn’t do anything with it. I can’t even cancel the service because guess what, I’m not an authorized user. Charter is the worst, absolute worst company I have had to deal with in an extremely long time. Most companies have been willing to work with me, and help me faciliate things for my mom. Not Charter. What a horrible awful terrible company. I can’t wait till I sort all this out and get on her account SO I CANCANCELIT.

Horrible. Can’t get a person on the phone to save my life. Our business phone stopped working 4 days ago. I can’t event begin to calculate the losses that represents. And what do you think the chances are that they’ll give me a break on my bill?

I didn’t have Charter cable service. Don’t watch TV much, found out it was out of service for a week. I called, 3 times to be exact, and 2 trips to the Charter office on Newmark to attempt to solve this. The first phone call I was disconnected. The second phone call I thought solved the issue. Upon setting foot into the Charter store after second phone call, I was told I needed to show them my father’s death certificate(service in his name, he died 7 years ago, name change was completed for their records back then) in order to get the cable box, so I could watch TV, it was digital now… big secret, Charter never informed us. It would have been nice for the second person I talked to on the phone to let me know this. I get home, called again, very irritated at this point, entire morning and gas wasted for Charters lack of customer service. I go to the Charter store again, void of customers, no one eager to wait on me. All have«deer in the headlight look» The staff there began the eye rolling and smirking at me. I’m not blind, nor ignorant, just a victom of Charter. This just added insult to injury. The attitude there was beyond rude. On my way out the young female that waited on me said in a loud sing-songy voice«Have a nice day Alice» then they all laughed. I don’t recall being on a first name basis with Bambi. I am researching dish network, writing a letter to Charter’s corporate office(not expecting much)…Beyond angry at the way I was treated. If you have need to set foot inside this Charter office, bring some disposable diapers. I think the fetus’s working there all need frequent changing!

Such a love/hate relationship… mostly hate. Honestly I believe if there were viable options in the outlying areas NOBODY would choose Charter. Customer service has gotten«slightly» better but certainly not good. Mostly it’s the service that sucks. In Coquille, for example, the service is almost worse than dial up. Highest speed(supposedly) and can’t keep a connection for more than a couple of minutes. Once bumped it’s almost impossible to get back online. If it isn’t enough this company rewards young, unproven customers with the best incentives… they really stick it to their long time customers by doing… um, nothing for them. Charge more to those who’ve been with you the longest? Not that smart. Charging at all for crappy service seems unreasonable. Wonder if they’d like to pay us for all our«down time»? They don’t hesitate to call if we’re a day late paying them! Pony up and provide Charter! Fix your issues. Reward the right customers… at least with some internet service they can rely on. You do not hesitate to charge for your existence.
