I could literally eat every lunch and dinner here for the rest of my life. The staff is amazing. The pork street tacos are without a doubt the best street tacos I have ever had(kinda a street taco junkie). The beer is so good. I live in the Eugene area and travel Oregon frequently. I try many local breweries and this is top 5 no doubt. I will come back here to eat and enjoy the beer as often as possible.

Thank you Unilocal community. This is by far a brewery favorite for my Bride and me. I had 3 different beers and all 3 satisfied.(Amber Blonde and IPA) Personally the Amber was my favorite of the 3 and I give it a 4 star. The IPA and the blonde are both equally good and deserve at least a 3 star. The food was very good for a brewery. We first shared a large yummy pretzel. It was very tasty and came with this locally made melted cheese. OMG so so good. For dinner I had the Albacore Tuna sandwich and it was one of the best I’ve had. The fries are another popular item I had to try and they too didn’t disappoint. 4 star all the way… Our service was exceptional good. Our waitress was super busy but she always made sure that my Bride and I was happy. If I visit Coos bay again we definitely will be back. 5 star service!

My wife and I were in our way up the OR coast. We followed other Unilocalers recommendation on the grilled cheese. Man I was blown away by far the best grilled cheese I ever had. It pairs really well with the stouts. Oh and waiter said to get the basil tomato soup. Oh yea. It did not disappoint.

Beer is great. They have a great selection of beer. The waitress was friendly but lacked some attention to us. Very disappointed with the lack of menu items. I was expecting more items to choose from. It’s a great place for the guys to have a beer and get a snack, but I wouldn’t recommend the family for Drinks and a filling meal. I will say though that the food we had was good.

I love this area and came here optimistic, Part of a map painted on the outside of the building, an electric car charging station being used near the door. Good looking interior, brewery visible through a glass wall, tables of a variety of wood. Did take the waitress a little while to ask if we wanted a drink after she’d seated & menued us. The IPA is okay. the poutine was very good – skinny fries, sufficient tasty gravy & cheese curds(I always want more.) I’ve eaten tacos in a wide variety of place but never had them with the tortillas cold and raw. the pulled park was dry as straw, the onions had been sitting awhile & the cabbage couldn’t help being cabbage. They had 2 stouts on the menu. When I tasted it I asked if I’d been given the wrong stout; she said no and offered me a sample of the other. They were the same, I told her so; she checked and they had hooked up the same stout to the two different taps. Just seems a little lack attention to detail at this place.

I came on a quiet afternoon by myself and sat at a table in the bar. No complaints. I had a decent tuna melt which came with chips; I added a yummy fresh arugula salad for $ 2. Menu seemed a little limited.(No burger at a pub/brewery? Or did I just not see it?) Cocktail menu looked appealing. Cute décor. Service was friendly. Ample parking in the public lot. I have no reason to not come back.

Having now lived in Oregon’s Bay Area for a couple years, 7 Devils is one of the few places on our short list of places where we’re wiling to spend our hard-earned money. Is it great? Well, No. But both the food and beer are workmanlike efforts that don’t leave you feeling altogether disappointed. Although we’re still not convinced they’re fully committed to the food part. And at those prices, we really want some commitment! Still, they do have one of the nicest dining and drinking environments in town — both inside and outside. You won’t go too far wrong if you have guests, family, or business associates to entertain. Maybe just feed ‘em a snack beforehand to dull any big appetites. In a pinch there’s also free popcorn.

I ended up leaving before I ordered. The waitress walked past me three times then came up to me and said What? As I am standing by the please wait to be seated sign. What do you think?

We ordered the devils flock with the new asian flavor, it was awesome. New battered tuna was HUGE and surprisingly delicious! Never had tuna battered.

This is such a great addition to the area. Lots of indoor/Outdoor seating area. Nice ambiance. Really friendly service staff. The food is consistently gooooood. The beer is solid. The Kombucha is Delicious. You can take it to go in growlers or bombers as well. There is live music weekly. Nice restaurant environment for family’s or just a good place to get out of the rain. If your in the area, check this place out.

Décor and atmosphere is, in the case of 7 Devils simply lipstick on a hog and can’t cover up the fact of only average beer, less than average service, and terrible food. Ordered the pork shank for lunch. When it arrived it was quite obvious it had been actually cooked some time in the distant past then had a lame attempt of re-heating it for on service the center was ice cold with the accompanying congealed fat. The watery dressing was at best tepid, having been chilled thoroughly by the nearly frozen meat. We had ordered a tasting flight and of the five, only the stout was memorable. The four other selections were merely average and clearly not in the same league of other Oregon brews. The only saving grace was no argument regarding the poor quality of food, beverage, or service. Will not return and can only recommend avoiding.

Delicious beer and great atmosphere! We were too full to try the food, but we will definitely return! The menu has a really unique selection, and the poutine is even made with vegetarian gravy! My pup was able to accompany us during our sunny sit down on the patio. Highly recommended!

Amazing place. I would give it 10 stars. They are doing some magic in that small space and making it work for them. The best part is you can tell they really love what they do. I recommend the mac and cheese or pretzel and cheese. Both so good. Everything is locally bough and they also make sure to give back to there community. Love this place.

I loved the décor, the band, the ambiance… however I did not appreciate the service of our assigned waitress. The bartenders were amazing though, super friendly and if they had not there this review would be totally different. Bummed they took away the pot roast off the menu, but the breaded chicken with chipotle sauce was pretty good and my husband enjoyed his tuna sandwich. My only complaint about the food is they don’t substitute fries for their kettle chips and I don’t enjoy their kettle chips. Will be returning, hopefully their service next time is better.

In the area for work and was excited to see a brew pub had opened up. We came on Monday night — which happened to be Trivia night with DJ Trivia. Not to brag, but… ya — my team won. We got a $ 25 gift certificate, not too shabby. The beer here is yum. The service was fantastic — letting us try the different beer options before committing. The food is definitely well above pub grub. Poutine, Freka bowl, good salads — all of it very tasty. The atmosphere is comfortable with modern design and good art. I am super glad this place opened up in Coos Bay and I will most assuredly be a customer every time I am int he area.

Went here around 6:30 pm on a Saturday night. The building and décor are amazing. Probably the coolest looking place to eat in Coos Bay. The service was top notch. The drinks were also very good. The food was not so good. We got the pretzel for appetizer. Pretzel was tasty but the dipping sauce was tasteless. The menu is very small. I ordered the chicken strip with both the Asian sauce and the spicy sauce. The sauces were ok but the strips were pretty boring. My wife ordered a salad and she said it was good. My kids ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. It was on a panini bread that was extremely dry. A friend ordered the pot roast and it looked good but it was pretty small. All dinners came with kettle style potato chips for the side. For a salad, two grilled cheese sandwiches, a drink and chicken strips it was $ 55. We’ll go back for drinks, but not food.

**This review covers the food and family friendliness of this restaurant, we do not drink beer but do enjoy a brew pub for the food and atmosphere We’d been camping at Sunset Bay State Park for several days and came into town for dinner to take a break from hotdogs. Our oldest daughter wanted macaroni and cheese and based on the menu pics we’d assumed they would have it here. There were kids all over(a good indication the food is decent and kids are welcome) so we sat inside — honestly we should have left. The menu was very small, there were no burgers, fish and chips, etc. On the bottom of the menu there was a note that said they would make two children’s dishes, a grilled cheese and chips or chicken strips and chips. Our younger child chose the chicken strips and our oldest chose the bacon beer mac and cheese from the adult menu. We also ordered an adult grilled cheese and the tuna melt for my husband and I, respectively. There was another note with the ‘children’s menu’ that said they have a tiny kitchen and dishes wouldn’t necessarily come out together but they would make every effort to try. They were right, first came the chicken strips, then a few minutes later came the tuna melt and grilled cheese. This was no big deal, the waitress didn’t drop any silverware so we just waited for the strips to cool and her to come back(with the food) so we could get a fork. The Mac and Cheese didn’t come for another 5 – 10 mins though, which seemed excessive. Taste wise, the grilled cheese was all bread, the tuna melt was tuna with a ton of mayo, and no cheese, the chicken strips were Cajun spiced and the bacon in the Mac and cheese tasted off. We were VERY disappointed. At the end we noticed more tiny text at the bottom of their beer tasting menu that directed people toward other area restaurants if they wanted a full bar. They should have directed them there if they wanted a full menu as well. They do indicate that they might have a bigger kitchen in 2016, so maybe give this place a try after that, if they’re still around. Other observations: Pluses Their beer seemed cheap and brewed on site Minuses Everyone there was off put by the lack of menu The waitress was annoyed by any request(forks, filling a growler, can you tell me who the band is, etc) Overall —(maybe) drink a beer and leave. DONT eat, DONT bring kids, DONT ask any questions

When I walked in the brewery, it almost felt like I wasn’t in Coos Bay anymore haha. The atmosphere was very nice but there were a lot less tables than what I’m used to in Portland. I loved all the decorations like plants in clay pots and fresh flowers on the table. They were pretty busy that day but my food came out really fast. I got fried oysters, poutine, and bacon & beer mac n’ cheese. The oysters were delicious and a good amount came with the order. The aioli that came with it was a little spicy and went really well with the oysters. The poutine was also delicious and we got a mixture of garlic and jalapeño cheese curds. Not too salty so I really liked it but couldn’t really taste the favored curds. The mac n’ cheese was very yummy, creamy, and seasoned well. Loved the panko topping. I also got a flight taster of their beer, all really good! I think the pale ale was my favorite.

On a recent trip up to Coos Bay and specifically to drink beer here at this brewery — it did not disappoint. We showed up early the first day of their work week(closed mondays and tuesdays) it was quiet and uncrowded so we sat at the bar. The young man bar tending was friendly and courteous, he poured several different short tastes for me and engaged my conversation about each of the brews that I sampled, before I settled on a pour. There are five or so regular taps, a couple seasonal taps and a local cider tap(for non beer drinkers). The bar and restaurant itself is a work of art, beautiful copper and wood behind the bar, great glass and light throughout, with a full window display into the brewery so that you can watch the brewmaster(the owner) and staff working. It is obvious when you walk in that this brewery is a labor of love, you can smell the fresh brew(like hot grain cereal cooking in the morning), and a mark that I look for when visiting hand craft brew houses. I consider myself a craft brew connoisseur and this young brewery has it going on. All of the brews that I sampled were unique and individual from extra hoppy to chocolate coffee, and even a seasonal barrel aged fig infused stout that was fresh, full of flavor and rich bodied as you would expect from such a complex stout. When it was all said and done, I even got a logo growler($ 5) filled with their seasonal stout to go — a 2 liter filled out the door $ 18(growler price included, not bad). They have a limited menu, though we did not eat. Maybe on the next trip. Well worth the stop and a solid local craft brewery that is committed to its craft and community. We will be back. 263

7 Devils is located in the heart of downtown/old town Coos Bay, and I have to say wow! I am impressed with this brewery, they have such great beer. We did a flight of 5 beers. Overall my favorite of the flight was the Lighthouse session ale, with honorable mention going to the Arago amber ale. We also ordered the pretzel with cheese sauce. The pretzel came out and it was a beautiful culinary work of art. The cheese sauce that came with it was divine. I wanted to take a picture of it but we devoured it so fast we didn’t get a chance. We were so impressed we purchased a bomber to go filled with the session ale and made a promise to ourselves to make it a priority to come back to get a refill and eat more delicious food. if you are in the area and love beer, this place is a must.
