Excellent service. It’s a small place and they had a huge party going on. That sat us promptly and we’re considerate enough to get our order in the kitchen before the big party. The food was delicious. I had the lobster ravioli and my friend had the chicken parm. Both were tasty and a good portion. I highly recommend this place.

A really nice place for an upscale Italian food dining experience. Not sure why«fusion» is in their restaurant name… seemed pretty mainstream Italian food, but a quality meal nonetheless. Was here during Baseball HOF induction weekend and ended up «dining» with Dick Enberg and his entire family(what a cool treat it was!). We started out by sharing a meatball appetizer. The meatball was mammoth, surrounded by a moat of their slightly sweet but mostly tangy red sauce. Lots of bread for dipping made this a very hearty meal starter. On to the main dishes. My buddy ordered the grilled salmon, I went«traditional» and order my go-to fav… Chicken Parmigiana. Greg really loved his salmon. The chicken parm was also quite large, pounded flat then breaded and fried served with its own moat of red sauce. Dish came with a helping of pasta with sauce on the side. The chicken was cooked very nicely and their sauce accompanied the meat perfectly. We finished the meal with a flour-less chocolate cake which we ate while Dick’s family projected several tribute videos to their newly inducted broadcaster HOF member. An evening to remember!!!

Our whole Family came to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday. We chose this place after reading other reviews on Unilocal. We expected a lot and it turned out to top these expectation. The service was great. The food was even better. And the experience with the family was priceless. Two of us enjoyed the salmon. It was some of the best fish we’ve had in a long time. One of us had the meatballs. Harty and awesome, although there was a little bit too much sauce. Our fourth meal was the seafood over pasta with red sauce. Seeing as how far we are away from the coast, It was wonderful. Our evening was topped off with a flourless chocolate cake with a lit candle in it provided complementary by the restaurant for my son’s birthday. We were joined by surrounding tables in a rousing rendition of happy birthday to you. All in all, a terrific evening. Make a reservation. The place gets busy.

Thank you fellow Unilocalers, this was a great recommendation! We were served a warm multigrain baguette with an olive oil/gorgonzola dip right when we sat down. Great start! The waitress recited a long list of specials and we ended up ordering two of them, the veal chop and the frutti di mare, along with a fried calamari appetizer. The veal chop($ 38) was bone-in, perfectly cooked, and huge. The chop was probably close to 16oz and about 1.5 inches thick with quite a lot of lot of meat on it. It came with mashed potatoes, spinach, and broccoli. the meat was tender and went really well with the sauce it was served with. I ordered the frutti di mare($ 27) with white sauce and linguini(you get a choice of pasta and red or white sauce). This differs from their standard menu zuppa di pesce because it has lobster instead of clams. The seafood in the dish was amazing and in particular, the scallops and shrimps were the highlight of the entire meal. I’d say the calamari was average — not particularly good and definitely not bad; it just didn’t shine the way the rest of the meal did. They rings were perfectly crispy and didn’t have a ton of batter which was good. The batter itself was not very flavorful and the tomato relish it came with could have been more exciting. A funny thing happened early on in the meal that sort of made this experience extra charming and fun: My husband and I each ordered a glass of red wine — he ordered a red blend and I ordered a merlot. The pours were very heavy on these glasses of wine when they came out. About five minutes after we got them, the host came over and sloshed(literally) wine into both of our glasses and said jovially«so I don’t have to come back later.» We both stared at each other very confused… What just happened? Are we on the bottomless plan?(No, there’s no such thing…). In any case, we definitely didn’t have the same wine in our glasses but very much enjoyed the top off! Overall it was a great meal with great atmosphere and service. Prices were very reasonable from a quality and portion-size standpoint. I’m not sure if I’ll get back to Cooperstown anytime soon, but this place is worth a visit.

Food was good, normal Italian style cuisine, however the service was probably the worst I’ve had in a very long time. My server, I believe his name was Nero(although I can’t be certain because I only saw him once), came to take our order and was unseen for the rest of our meal. Our check was brought by another server after we had been waiting for 15−20min. The service was completely unacceptable, which was unfortunate because I otherwise would’ve given a great rating for this place.

Above average for Italian food, but still needs some refinement. The flavors were great, most things were cooked perfectly, they just need to focus a bit more on execution and service. There was six of us for dinner and service was as good as you might expect as an Italian place in Cooperstown: amusing staff, but not too attentive. The food was really good for the most part. They definitely should think portion control — the amount of food per order was way too much for an average person to consume. Maybe combining the pasta and entrée onto one dish would be better. Or, if you do end up going, you can easily split an entrée and appetizer for two people — get the caprese and veal. I ordered one of the specials, the lamb, and it was basically raw — it looks like they just seared one side of it and put the rest in the oven to finish, but it was barely even cooked. Overall, if you’re in the mood for a family style and/or Italian meal, I would recommend Toscana. Otherwise, you’re probably better of at one of the other eateries in Cooperstown.

I had a necessary stomach operation and nothing has tasted the same since. Meaning, I can taste EVERYTHING and am amazed how so little of it tastes good, but THIS restaurant’s Eggplant Rollatini is sublime. Beautifully cooked, amazing cheese stuffing, and a delicious, fresh sauce. The décor is beautiful, our server(the budding actress) was spot on perfect, and every single dish was delicious. My favorite in the city by far! I am a fan and do not have one critique!

Good meal spoiled by slow service. We enjoyed our meal here, but when we were done we say for a full 25 minutes waiting to pay our check. This amount of time is ridiculous. Even though we were not pressed for time we felt ignored as tables to the left and right of us completed their meals and departed. Just tainted the experience. With regard to the food, our salads were wonderful. I had a caprese salad. While the tomatoes were so-so, the accompaniments — greens, olives, dressing — were sublime. DHOM had the house tossed salad which was also very good. I chose the eggplant rollatini appetizer as my main course, and it was good but bland. Lots of sauce but not much flavor. And no one bothered to offer more cheese. DHOM ordered the carbonara, which for an Italian restaurant was mediocre. The ambiance was the best thing. It is a beautiful little place close to the Hall of Fame. With better service, it would have been a lovely little meal. But having to flag down another table’s wait staff and then waiting and waiting to pay our check just made it a negative experience rather than the lovely experience it would have otherwise been.

I hear the food is great but the service was so awful and the people so rude we walked out. We called and spoke to Tony the maître d’ — we asked if he could take a large party and he told us to come in. When we got there, he told us a table would be ready soon. After waiting 15 minutes, he told us he never had a table and never would. By far, the rudest restaurant worker I have ever encountered and I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. I would really like to try the food but it’s not worth giving these horrible people business!

Amazing food and specials… The owner/chef kept coming around and filling everyone’s wine glass for no extra charge. Our waitress sang to us in Italian beautifully. I would definitely recommend this place and come back here the next time I’m in Cooperstown.

This place was AMAZING. Went about 10 days ago at around 730p. Short to reasonable wait for a table, great bread and a fantastic chicken parm. As good as most places you would find in a big city. Really liked.

This authentic trattoria, an upscale Italian restaurant across the street from the Baseball Hall of Fame, served delicious food in large portions. We ordered the pasta primavera(they accommodated my request for pomodoro sauce instead of the garlic and olive oil on the menu) and the pasta Toscana with vodka sauce; both were hearty and substantial. We were surprised at the huge size of the Caesar and house side salads. Overall, it was a relaxing experience after the hustle and bustle of the Hall of Fame.

We had an excellent meal here after a day of doing the brew tour. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and not intrusive. The food was delicious. I enjoyed every thing, though we really didn’t have much room after that delicious starter bread and the sardine appetizers. The environment is a combination of low-dark rooms and city grit. A great getaway if you have no desire to see a baseball for once in that whole town.

So delicious! The Osso Bucco was cooked to perfection along with the broccoli that was served with it. The side of spinach was simple but tasty. Staff was attentive and friendly. Great place to dine after visiting the museum all day.

Excellent food. Red sauce dishes very good from appetizers to pasta main course. Only downside was long wait for a table due to lingering prior diners but restaurant comped us salads which were the freshest, best Caesar salads I’ve ever had. Will be back

Haven’t been to many, but this place is likely the best restaurant in Cooperstown! Stopped in with my 12 year old son; we split the meatball appetizer and had the pasta fagioli… outstanding! Server was very knowledgable and pleasant.

Wow! This place was amazing! They brought out warm bread with olive oil for us to snack on while we looked over the menu. It was so good my husband and I ate 2 loaves! He ate the fagioli soup and he said it was to die for. I had the Tuscan salad and it was delicious. It come with a side of their house made roasted red pepper Italian dressing. I could drink it out of the ramekin! For our dinner, I ordered the bolognese. It was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband had the Toscana pasta. It came with a meatball and sausage link. We smelled the meatball when the plate was put on the table! Best meatball and sausage we have had!!! Huge portions, wonderful staff, and delicious food. Can’t ask for more than that.

We went to this restaurant based on other Unilocal reviews and couldn’t be happier with that decision. Our server Diane made us feel like we were a guest in her home, she was so sweet and helpful. We started with a Caesar salad which Diane split into 2 plates for us, without us even asking for it. Amazing customer service. It’s the little things! We also had the ahi tuna app which was so fresh and yummy. My fiancé had the zuppa di pesce that was overflowing with fresh shrimp, scallops and clams. I enjoyed a shrimp and scallop special that was in a white wine sauce over angel hair. No regrets on that one! Next time we come to Cooperstown, this place is definitely going to see us again!

We saw such great reviews for this place that we decided to have Sunday dinner there. To our surprise, it was empty when we showed up at 7pm. The emptiness had no affect on how delicious the food was there. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with great art work on every wall. Our waitress was so nice and helpful, we ordered the calamari as our appetizer which was perfectly cooked. I ordered the Osso Bucco, the pork was so tender and the potatoes were full of flavor. My boyfriend had the lamb special, he thought it was delicious. The food was a great portion. I would definitely come back to this place.
