The food(the steak) was very good and reasonably priced($ 15 for salad, steak and baked potato plus veggie) The server worked real hard — but the way the food and drink production went every server was 100% on there own — even if one was buried and others not so no one helped each other. Large groups expect a long wait and long service time(our 11 people took over 3 hours) Very family oriented place. Just give yourself time.

We were here for our team dinner while in C-town playing at Dreams Park, we were in a private room and had to go upstairs to the bar to get our own drinks(with my beer selection the bartender had to go down a spiral stair case in back of the bar to taps that were downstairs and enter the sale upstairs.) Well like a lot of other reviews the wait was long and orders not right. First off, the kids orders were taken first, which in one way was a good idea, get them fed first, but once they ate they got restless and wanted to go into town while the adults were still waiting for their food. Each table started off getting a deep fry variety platter(mozz. sticks, wings, onion rings) that were room temp. Then the wait, a lot in our group ordered steak, which mostly came out not cooked to order, either under or over done(more so under), and some with French fries not baked potato which were ordered, being told they were out of baked potato then being told they really weren’t. My wife and I ordered pasta dishes, my wife’s came out a good half hour before mine, while she liked the sauce, the sausage was too spicy for her taste(not their fault). But I have to say both our dinners came out piping hot, so they hadn’t been sitting around. All in all the staff was nice and tried their best, they said their delay with the steaks was they had a small grill, well with all the people that must go threw there with Dream Park being down the road you would think they’d have made a change.

Food was just barely ok so we didn’t need to send anything back. Service was awful. Ordered a side of broccoli and were told the they had to run over to their other restaurant to get it. After 15 minutes, it never came and we were offered a really gross bowl of fruit instead. Seriously, why have it on the menu of you don’t have it!!! Asked about a possible private party and were totally blown off but would not consider it anyway after our experience. So many other places in Cooperstown. Give them your business. Not here.

Took 12 minutes to get a water and over an hour and a half to get our meal. The food was alright but not the best. I would not recommend it at all.

This place is located off a side alley and has an outdoor patio– great ambience. The food is excellent! My husband had the ribs and I had a pasta dish– our dishes were delicious. The service was excellent too.

I ran into no problems eating here. I came with my mom, aunt and grandmother. These three woman are the most difficult because of how easily distracted they can get so it’s not very easy to communicate to them. But our waitress was very patient and everything moved very smoothly. The menu is great, the food is great. They have delicious waffle sweet potato fries. Their regular fries are delicious as well I couldn’t decide which one I liked more. Very southern atmosphere, family friendly. I’m from Texas so it’s funny to walk in here and see all the décor. I’m surprised the reviews didn’t give more stars because I thought this place was great! Try to make it to this place and try the lobster bisque. Very yummy. I’ll definitely come back.

The food was decent but a mistake happened on food order, then waiting on replacement order took forever. The replacement arrived after baseball party of 20 were finished eating. When the owner tried to fix the situation, she didn’t handle it very well and she let her temper get the better of her and made a loud comment on her exit. Having an upset customer was all caused by their mistake. I recommend to find a different restaurant during your visit to Cooperstown And the Dream Park.

Call me a fool for trying again. 25 minutes to get my beer and our appetizer and 50 min for our entrees. The food is ok but the wait is long and not worth it. I will find another handicapped accessible place. When we were here in October I can understand being slow due to off season but not today.

We were up in C-town for some Father and son stuff, and came here for dinner. We had the French Dip and some excellent buffalo popcorn chicken. Everything was great. Nice beers, too. The staff were a bunch of friendly locals. Really the whole experience was just great.

Glazed donut shot is awesome! $ 2.50 Food is decent. Price is good. Ambiance isn’t bad. Service is good. Beer is inexpensive. Lobster bisque tasted more of cream than anything else. Lobster was teared in shreds, so indistinguishable for the most part. And it was lukewarm. :/they’re version of serving it in a bowl was a French onion crock. Pastrami Reuben was decent, and flavorful. Ok portion. Jambalaya, rice was undercooked and shrimp needed to be seasoned, crawfish was scarce, corn bread was good. Overall, not bad.

After leaving the baseball hall of fame, we wanted to eat at a nice local place. We walked around for about 30 minutes looking for a place. None of em seem to fit what we wanted until we found this place, which Im glad I was so picky because their food was AMAZING! You’d think that for a small town and a grill their food would be tastless and generic bar food but boy was I ever WRONG! their food was great, if I lived close enough to cooperstown, I would go broke eating their haha. We ordered several things, thinking the portions would be small but the serving was so big. I got the shrimp pasta and the shrimp was so tender, the only complaint was that I wish I had more of it. Most place overcook shrimp but this was cooked to perfection. We also had the mozzarella sticks which were okay, I wouldnt say the best I’ve ever had but it had flavor. My boyfriend had their surf and turf, usually he can’t get a decently cooked steak but they knew how to cook it right to medium rare. We also got thier mac and cheese which may just be the best I’ve had. The portions were so big we had leftovers for the next day.

Upon venturing Cooperstown, we stumbled on this place once for drinks and came back the next day for an early dinner. Service was good, and enjoyed the 2nd floor deck. Good bar food, need I say more.

Decidedly mediocre. Waitress was very nice, and the deck is always great on a summer evening, but all the rest. … don’t waste your dollars. Nothing was bad but little was good. Pork chop special overcooked, fried fish sandwich and burger while prepared properly where tasteless, salads uninspired.

If there was a 3 ½ i would give it this. Walking up we were served quick and the waitress was sassy, in a good way. We were a party of 9. So keep that in mind. We ordered drinks and they came out in a timely matter no issue there at all. While waiting for food the drunk parents of teenage kids were spilling drinks onto the pavement which splattered and shrapnel our party of 9. We complained because we were sitting below the upper deck. Then the worst part, not the food but the wait for food. We waited 45 min for food. So long we had to re up our parking meter. So long we had one party member leave to get a hoy dog. So long that our infant, 5 year old and grumpy papa all needed a plugged in unit to distract them. Food was good, experience was sub par, price was typical. I think next time Ill move on to something different. Just not for me.

A friend of ours found this place last year during our annual trek to Cooperstown for Hall of Fame Weekend so we tried it out. The food was good but the best part was we found a local beer Ommegang, brewed right in Cooperstown, which has become one of our favorites. Located down a back alley from Stage Coach Coffee makes it a little more appealing because it keeps the crowds small. We started off with the Loaded Potato Chips which were ok. The chips were made in the restaurant and topped off with cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce. The chips need a little more salt and there was too much BBQ. Plus it tasted like the BBQ sauce came out of a jar. As for lunch my wife had the falafel wrap which was awesome. And I had the Back Alley Gem, a steak sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion straws and horseradish mayo also very good. My only problem was it was a little over done. Asked for medium rare and it was medium. Would still recommend this place. Good food and good atmosphere. There is even a patio if you would like to eat outside.

We wandered here mid afternoon on a Sunday. The beer list is pretty basic but it has some local brews(Ommegang, Adirondack Brewery, etc) which is always nice to see. We ordered the Pete fries(fries with melted blue cheese crumbles and Pete’s hot sauce) which was just about as delicious and as bad for you as you’d imagine. The chipotle chicken wings were pretty tasty, but the mild chicken wings were just standard. Service was very friendly and very pleasant, but very leisurely. We ended up spending a lot of time relaxing here just because the service would take so long that someone would inevitably just end up ordering another beer. Very reasonably priced though, and the upstairs balcony seating has a great view of the HOF(especially if you’re waiting for other members of your party to finish shopping or etc).

Walking down by the HOF and saw the place. Glad we did. Clean, Friendly, Great Service, Great Food. Our server Maggie was excellent. Knew the menu, personable, made suggestions. We both ordered the special — Fish Tacos — pan seared haddock w/mango salsa. Without a doubt, best fish tacos we have ever had. Prepared fresh, perfectly cooked, good size portion, nice value. Great experience, Highly recommend

Walking to the HOF we found this spot. We had some beers, a turkey club, a French onion soup and a steak sandwich. All good. Good service and very clean. No joke less than a 250 foot walk from the HOF.
