Beechurst, Queens, NY
I would give this place one star, but my morbid curiosity brings me back each time I go there. Three quarters of the wax figures don’t look anything like their namesake. Piles of wax figures lying on the floors of displays and dust on the exhibits. Don’t forget to enjoy the racks of random kitchen stuff on the way into the gift shop!
If you want a good laugh/​goofy time, go! But don’t say I didn’t warn you.

We went after visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. It was quite dismal. Tee shirt store on the ground floor and nearly $ 40 for our family of four to tour the «Museum.» The wax figurines were very amateur and the lighting was poor. We were there less than 10 minutes and used it as a way to educate our girls about a rip-​off. Don’t waste your money.

Was a fun thing to do and see. It didn’t take much time to walk thru it. Some of the statues looked very lifelike, others were a bit creepy.

This was a pretty fun place. Some of the exhibits didn’t really resemble the actual person… but who really cares. It was a pretty entertaining place, with a good number of exhibits. Right down the street from the HoF, worth the trip.

You get what you pay for, $ 10! Don’t expect a «Madame Tussauds» figures in the baseball museum. They make there figures from pictures, not molding. Is approximately 20 characters of 2 floors. You enter for the baseball experience, not to be wowwed.

Its worth going for a different element then the Hall Of Fame, since the HOF does not have Wax Figurines. The price is reasonable at $ 10 each for adults and provides something else to do while in town and to see something different.

My boyfriend and I went to this museum when we were in Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame museum. It was okay. They didnt have too much but I did like the set up. Some of the guys didn’t really look like themselves and we didnt really like the fact that you can’t go up to the statue and take pictures as in other museums that I’ve been to.
