We decided to go to the melting pot for chocolate fondue dessert on a cold night, and it was the perfect place to be! We chose this location because it was close to home. Upon entering, we were greeted by the hostess and manager who were both friendly and welcoming. We were walked to a private booth in the back of the restaurant in a tight corner, which kind of sucked for my boyfriend because he’s a bigger guy, but I fit almost anywhere just fine so no complaints here ! Our waiter, who I do not remember his name, was extremely nice and helpful with the menu, since it was our first time there. I ordered the yin & yang martini, and my boyfriend had a glass of Moscato which was very tasty paired with chocolate. We couldn’t decide between milk chocolate or white chocolate for dipping, so our waiter suggested the yin & yang pot, so we did that! It was the perfect mix of chocolates and went so well with all the fruits and treats served to dip, without being too overbearing and chocolatey. As soon as we were finished with dessert, we had to hurry and leave unfortunately because their vents aren’t very large in the ceiling, and a table next to us were boiling their lobsters and my boyfriend is highly allergic to shellfish so the smell was making him swell up :(otherwise, we had an amazing experience, and will be back for dessert again but perhaps suggest to be sat at a different table that’s not too enclosed for some«breathe-room» !

Call me crazy, gluttonous, or just a plain old pig but yes, I ate two meals at The Melting Pot today! Maybe I need to go to Melting Pot anonymous! Actually, there was a reason for this sudden mass fondue consumption. Lunch was an absolutely fabulous Unilocal event at the Boca Raton Melting Pot location. When my family wanted to go to the Cooper City location for dinner, I could not deny them the same fantastic experience that I just had. In general, if you like fondue, you can’t beat The Melting Pot. I have been to the Cooper City Melting Pot location several times and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and the service is spot on. Tonight we shared our Cheddar Cheese Fondue. The Cheddar is not my favorite flavor but it did not stop me from eating it! We each ordered separate salads. I enjoyed my House Salad because I love the Melting Pot House Dressing. We also each ordered separate entrees. Three of us had the«Fondue by You» which included three entrée selections. Since I had the«Classic Combination» for lunch with mostly proteins I decided to try the Chicken Potstickers, the Wild Mushroom Sachetti, and some Shrimp. The Potstickers were new to me. They were a nice change and were very good. 11 year old went with a seafood theme: Ahi Tuna, Salmon, and Shrimp. 12 year old had meat: Filet Mignon, Teriyaki Sirloin, and Chicken. Husband had the«Land and Sea»: Filet Mignon, Chicken, and Shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I could not finish mine. However, I did find room for some of the S’mores Chocolate Fondue. I like this chocolate fondue with swirls of marshmallow and bits of graham cracker but the consensus was that next time we will try the white chocolate. I was never a huge fan of the fondue concept. After all, the flavors are not that original, and as my Unilocal friend Glenn G. wrote today, you pay to cook your own food! However, it can be a fun and relaxing activity with friends, and my kids love it! I have had my fill of fondue for a while, but I am sure my boys will insist on returning.

We went for my daughters sweet sixteen dinner. Pork smelled foul, I am a chef I am very aware when pork is bad. Told waiter he said owner/manager was going to check it out in kitchen, He would send him over. He never came. Girl came over I asked her quietly and discreetly to please smell it I had concerns it smelled bad enough to make me want to vomit and not finish my food. She said she would send manager over. He never came. Asked our waiter what happened with the pork he said owner/manager dealt with the kitchen, That there was a bad batch however they disposed of it. Manager still never came over. My husband went to speak with him, he was concerned and hoped my daughter and her friend we brought with us do not get sick. Manager said waiter should of never told us that. I can assure you as a proffessional in the food industry he pork was bad. Sick to my stomach. Beware. I only gave it one star because you couldn’t give it a zero. Great disappointment.

Good place! Very romantic! It’s the right place for an date night. The food is not in big amount and there’s some extras unnecessary. But everything is very good! :)

MYFAVORITERESTAURANTGOTEVENBETTER!!! They have special deals now for $ 40 and it makes my heart cry with excitement! A tip is to take a second set of Tongs if you’re that impatient, but I love the fancy cheese, chocolate, and atmosphere. This place has all memories and MAJOR potential for new memories. I love it!

My son picked this restaurant to celebrate his birthday. Unfortunately the locations close to our home closed Aventura and Ft. Lauderdale. My son chose the 4 course menu and I went a la carte just cheese fondue and entrée. Since we chose as a cooking method oil we left smelling our hair and clothes like if we worked in a fast food restaurant. You cook your own food so literally there can’t be any chefs in the back because you are the chef. So you would think if you are doing all the work it would be inexpensive. That is not the case in fact it is expensive. For the same money you could go to Capital Grill and you would leave relaxed as someone else cooked your dinner and you won’t smell. My son is very young liked it. Even though the craft beer the waitress suggested he took one sip and that was it. The server was fair at best, good thing not only can I cook my own food but lower the temperature as well as the grease was jumping out of the pot. Hopefully next year my son will pick some where else.

Beautiful place, smells delicious and food was absolutely amazing. Used our groupon there and it was still great. Such a good selection of meats and dessert fondues. Only downside was that our burner kept turning off throughout the meal so the food took awhile to cook. I was there with my boyfriend and the meal ended up taking more than 2 hours.

Great and fun place to spend with good friends. Our server was excellent, they had a wine special and paid $ 20 for really nice red blend. For appetizer we had the traditional cheese fondue and brie with pears. Our entrée was the seasoned court boullon and COQAUVIN. For dessert we the traditional chocolate fondue and yin/yang white/milk chocolate fondue. The breads, meats and sea food was all vey fresh. Great place to break bread with friends.

Came in a Saturday night no reservations. waited a few minutes and was able to get a table. Bar is decent. Our waiter was very informative and so it began we cooked our cheese appetizer of different cheese and veggies. Our main course of steal, chicken, shrimp and pork was okay. And our desert was good. All and all a very different meal but extremely expensive.

I went with my 4 year old daughter. We had no wait on a Saturday night. We ordered the cheese course and the chocolate course and the add on items for each to make sure we had enough food. The portion(with the add on) was great for us to share. We had a wonderful time.

I really wish I could give this review 5 stars for service and experience. Our waiter Justin was the bomb he made us feel at home for our first time ever. He had great recommendations and super enthusiastic and always checking up on us without even having to look for him. The manager also made sure to go around and check up to make sure everything was ok which it really was!!! I just wish the food was a little more tasty and filling. I didn’t know you had to cook your own food, it wasn’t that bad. At least you get to take it slow and it’s all for the experience. Portions are small and you have to warm them up in a boiling broth. For the experience it’s lots of fun. If you’re a starving monster, make sure you don’t come on a fully empty stomach. I really have no complaints it’s all about your personal taste. I would really unfortunately never come back, perhaps only for appetizer or dessert. Overall it was a nice experience.

I find this particular restaurant extremely average and very overpriced. However my wife and two daughters absolutely love eating here. So I am often forced to attend. Perhaps this is a restaurant brand built to be more in tune with women than it is with men. As I often find large groups of women having a fabulous time there. But for me if I’m going to spend this amount of money there are many other places I would prefer to go to. I will say our service has always been fabulous. Restaurant is very clean. And we have never had a problem with the food. I just don’t find it particularly very good. I find the portions too small for a large eater like me. But again it is very popular on special occasions so give it a try.

I was surprised that I actually liked the food from here. It was a perfect ending for the night. We were seated immediately and our server attended us as soon as we sat down. The server we had was so personable and attentive. She explained how the restaurant worked and gave us a couple of recommendations. The only down side is the strong odor that lingered in the restaurant. The place was also extremely cold but luckily once I got my drink I was able to somewhat heat up. I would definitely give this place another try though!

Okay this meal lasted over 3 hours! The entire time we enjoyed calm, soothing music and each other. Our server was Scott and he was Amazing! This week this restaurant has an unlimited entrée meal for $ 39.99 each through Friday night! Make your reservation. They have curtained off booths and it’s just so nice! The food! We opted for the Wisconsin 3 cheese blend and since its full of Vegies, fruit we skipped the salad and said bring on those pots! Lol bread pieces are also given for the cheese. You will be full! We had the oil sauce to cook the meats and veggies like potatoes, sweet potato, broccoli, carrots, and mushrooms. 2 dipping sauces to coat our food; tempura and a sesame seed based coating. Meat– this was unlimited! Fresh shrimp, chicken breast, Angus Sirloin, Teriyaki marinated sirloin and Filet Mignon. We did it Justice! There are several dipping sauces but I really only liked the scallion like one, well and Gorgonzola one lol! A lot. Scott was so good about checking our pots because we had cheese on 1 side and oil in other pan, this was Perfect! 2 cookers! I chowed on shrimp and mushrooms. Hubby just really enjoyed the other meats. Tender and juicy! I’m so good right now, it’s like after Thanksgivings Dinner and its relaxation time. BUT! Chocolate Time! Oh yay! Fresh bananas, strawberries, rice Krispy treats, various brownies, pound cake, chocolate dusted coconut marshmallows and plain coconut marshmallow. Scott laughed and could see I was happy. I did ask the Manager if they knew the cacao amount and they didn’t, but informed us they had just met with a great chocolatier and looking to bring in better choc. Quite content I am posting a copy of the bill it’s a nice treat, but there are less priced entrees. Everyone will find something. We did give Scott more tip because he was great! Thank you for a nice evening!

You’re paying for the experience. The cheese was okay. I’m not fond of any beer based food, so it wasn’t my cup of tea. As far as the main course– As a vegetarian, it wasnt anything great. Along with a lot of vegetables and some pasta they included seasoned tofu. I didn’t really like the flavor of the tofu and felt like the assortment wasn’t worth 16 dollars a person. Cooking our own food was kind of annoying to be honest. My boyfriend was disappointed with the sauces because the food is so plain, if the sauces aren’t good– its just boiled veggies. It felt like something you would make when you’re running low on groceries. The chocolate was of course amazing, and salads were okay. My raspberry vinigerrette was more oil than anything else. We each had two drinks and they were really strong surprisingly. The waitress was also really nice and awkward.

yum, yum, yum in my tum tum tum… so good, this place makes me happy. I used to remember The Melting Pot being so expensive, but now it’s downright affordable. I typically start with a salad($ 4.95), pick a cheese with bread and veggies($ 8.95/person), and then share a dessert($ 8.95). This time was no different. I ordered my favorite walnut salad, we split the beer cheddar cheese, and shared the cookies and crème for dessert.(see pix) Our waiter, Jesse, was great too! There were a lot of kids this time when we went and they seemed to all love the concept of making their own food. The only thing we did not like was the music, it was bizarre. I felt like we were in the twilight zone, it just kept getting weirder and weirder and felt like we were in a Horror movie.

My boyfriend and I went on a date to The Melting Pot. We purchased the Romance package which helped to narrow our options while keeping them open to just enough to choose from. They have a Huge variety of appetizers and entrees with different cooking methods. We tried the Swiss cheese fondue appetizer, it came with different breads, broccoli, and apples, it was delicious! We had Caesar salads which were very good as well. For the entrée we chose the mojo cooking method. They brought pieces of chicken breast, shrimp, Cajun steak, and filet mignon. Everything was great. The portions are small but since you have to many you do get full. The dessert was to die for! The variety is huge! We had the s’mores fondue. They brought out pound cake, brownies, blondies, marshmallows, strawberries, and pineapple pieces. Definitely worth breaking a diet for. The customer service was great! We had a reservation and were sat immediately. The server took his time to explain to us how everything worked and checked on us regularly but enough to not disturb. He kept reminding us not to forget the chocolate dipped strawberries that were included in our package which was pretty cool. We had the red rose wine which is now our favorite. Great experience. Very private for couples to chat. We loved it and we will definitely go back.
