This is the library branch in Howard County if you need peace and quiet for studying. Also everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful. The kids section is very warm, welcoming, and inviting. There are some cozy places to curl up and ready a book in the library which I really appreciate! The computers are fairly fast if you need to do research and I’ve never had trouble finding an unoccupied computer. It does get a lot more crowded once the all the schools get out but it’s not really much of an issue. Everyone seems to follow the rules of muting cellphones and talking quietly. The people who check out your books for you are always very friendly and willing to give you book recommendations for when you’re done your book. There are a lot of children’s activities happening in a conference type room down a hallway near the entrance so I suggest looking at the schedule of events to get your child involved in them!
