Ive been very excited to check this place out as I had heard some good things about it but I was left horribly disappointed. My girlfriend and I came here to participate in their trivia night. Upon entering we went into their video game store to look around a bit and while they had a good retro video game selection, everything was priced exactly according to ebay prices. No thank you. This is where it got bad. We went into the bar/lounge area and the entire night there was no music playing at all in the entire place. No sounds of anything at all. All the lights in the place were on and it was far to bright for a relaxing environment. Ordered a pitcher of beer and it had to 50+ degrees. Thats not an exaggeration, the beer was hot. The trivia was very unorganized and the whole time we played, a carpenter was doing construction work next to the stage and using loud power tools. The carpenter seemed to have his family there and there were about 3 – 4 very young kids running around and playing the whole time. I wasnt brave enough to even try the food. Will not ever be going back here again.

I loved this place, but it has gone downhill. The only nice thing I can say for it anymore is that the servers are nice people, and that the beer is still good. It’s virtually impossible to get a food order in less than two hours, because until you remind someone, only then will they realize that it wasn’t sent in due to a computer error. The computers the Coliseum use for checking people out/processing orders seem to be horribly slow, which cause a huge back-up in service. This means that if you want to get a beer, order food, or pay for your beer at the end of the night, you will be waiting a long time. Also, confederate flags are okay now? Gross. Not to mention that they’ve hosted comedians that do rape jokes, which is totally keeping it classy, right? There’s also the matter of kids vaping and blowing huge clouds all over the place. I don’t mind vaping one bit, but it gets absolutely ridiculous when there’s a huge fog rolling across the bar every five seconds. I know that this may not bother some people, but the Coliseum used to be at a tolerable noise level. I’m no grandma, but I can’t stand how it’s been the last few times I’ve been by past 9pm. Their sound system is god-awful, and there’s been crappy music blasting to ear-bleeding levels every night I’ve come by for the past few months. This has the side-effect of drawing very, very annoying teenagers. Maybe they spend money, but I don’t want to spend mine to be around them. It’s a huge disappointment, because I loved this place when it started, and I think that it has a lot of potential that is being squandered. It’s no longer a comfortable place to have a beer and game, and if it appeals to people as it is now, great. It just doesn’t appeal to me anymore. Back to Father Tom’s.

Still the best selection of beers in town. Also, the arcade now has Soul Edge and a NeoGeo machine(with 4 great games and more to come)

I have driven by this pub a few times in the past few weeks and always meant to check it out, and I finally decided to tonight. I went with a good friend of mine at about 7PM, to find that it was not crowded at all. This is not due to bad business, but rather the spaciousness of the location. We just walked in, sat at the bar, and were immediately served. For whatever reason, I had expected to see the normal selection of beer you would find anywhere: Bud Light, Budweiser, Guinness, etc. However, the selection was mostly local brews. There were some normal beers: Angry Orchard, PBR, and Bud Light were on tap for those less adventurous. My buddy got a flight of 4 beers for $ 4. It came with a hefeweizen, lager, chocolate porter, and an IPA. This was great, as he was able to sample some new beers and decide what his drink of choice for the night was. I got the BurgerTimes medium rare with cheddar and an order of fries. Food came out very quickly, and was incredibly fresh. Everything had obviously just been made. The burger was outstanding. Juicy, fresh, and delicious, especially considering this was a plain burger with just lettuce, tomato, and onions. I would recommend it to anyone. Game selection was great! There is appeal for everyone, with games ranging from the newest Mario Kart on the WiiU to Tron and Streetfighter. There was also air hockey, skee ball, pool tables, ping pong tables, and cornhole boards set up. Fun night at a great establishment. The building has had many vacancies over the last few years, and I sure hope this will be around for a long time.

This place has quite a bit. I can’t wait to see what else they add in the future. Their food is amazing. I love the music selection that they play. Friendly staff, special events, and great game selection! Highly recommend!
