Not even close to my regular store in Murfreesboro in terms of service, set up of the store, retail, you name it. But if you are seeking non fast food sustenance on a drive, a good stop. Just glad I don’t use this one regularly.

I’m from Ye Olde New England, where smoothies are a) something you make in a blender at home, b) buy at a hippie-dippy flower-power college town café, or c) pay too much money for at Orange Julius in the mall. But apparently down south there is a whole chain dedicated to smoothies… aka, Smoothie King. We actually called ahead to place our order(since we were in a rush) and I asked if they had a green smoothie.(Think chlorella, algae, sprouts? etc.) The response I got was, «You mean like, green tea?» No. Not like green tea. Not like green tea at all. Anyway I tried one of the breakfast smoothies and honestly I couldn’t tell you what was in it, except fruit colored goodness and a lot of sugar. But it was gooood. And for laughs, check our Smoothie King’s website… where pretty much every smoothie has the R or TM letters at the end. Just so no one steals their registered smoothie names, which must be in demand. Or something.

This is a great fun place to get healthy smoothies, served up with a smile. They also carry a variety of health supplements. They’re tucked away in the road parallel to Restaurant Row, next to a(legit) massage parlour.
