Just one reason to move to Tennessee. Where else can you stop to gas up your motorcycle or whatever. and find excellent BBQ. Just off of route 40 not far from Nashville is a great find for BBQ fanatics. The General Lee is far from anything fancy, but with Barbecue it’s all about the food. Outside of this dated truck stop is the true sign of real BBQ, a big olé Smoker and a stacked pile of hickory, filling the air with the smell of smoked meats.
The «pit boss» working his magic and sharing his secrets proudly. Portions are amazing and prices are unbelievably reasonable.
Worth the stop, hope to be there again soon.
