We like DQ’s but don’t have one in our town. Ordered a couple of Blizzards that came out promptly but neither was filled to the rim and had air gaps in the top. We thought maybe that was how they were these days but we had since gone to the one in Crossville and they were filled at least a half inch over the top and they did the hold the cup upside-​down trick we used to remember.

Bruce Bean has owned this Dairy Queen for over a decade. Bruce and his crew deliver quality shakes, sundaes and burgers that local folks have gotton into the habit of stopping for. Of course, other sandwiches, dairy products and custom cakes can also be ordered. I especially like the chocolate covered ice cream cones and the cake. This is a Cookville tradition and I like it.
