Waffle House #899

Clean and great service. Sat at the counter placed my order and was eating before I knew it.

MY KIND OF PEOPLE!
As we pulled in at approximately 7:30am, we noticed that an employee was in the parking lot sweeping up trash. As we entered the restaurant, you could smell the clean which was later verifed by an inspection score of 99.
The people work in this restaurant are more than just a team, they are family. When you walk in, you are warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. As we were seated and reviewing the menu, I noticed that the background conversation, (from employees) was very complimentary and very respectful, not just toward customers but each other as well. It was so nice to be able to enjoy breakfast in such a warm and pleasant environment.
For my breakfast, I ordered the double waffle, (LIKE A BOSS!) and my husband had an omelet, with hashbrowns and toast. I loved my two waffles with sugar free syrup, (the best I’ve had). I ordered this hearty breakfast because I knew that it would have to carry me for a while. It held me down until 3:30 when I finally had time for lunch.
My husband liked his food fine but thought that the eggs could have had more salt and less oil. Here is my thing, you should never order an omelet at the Waffle House, that is just not their thing. You can’t get fresh veggies and they only use processed cheese. No! That is just my opinion and does not figure into this rating.
For the wonderful environment, timely delivery and great customer service, this Waffle House deserves four stars!

Average customer service. She was suggestive and kept the refills coming. The sweet tea tasted a little aged. Nothing spectacular about my good… Bacon was undercooked, however, my friend enjoyed his meal.

You know you’re in the South when you see Waffle Houses. Fast breakfast food to go, this place is not as busy as other Waffle Houses but does serve a fairly urban crowd with the occasional suburbanite thrown in. The portion are not very large, so order a fair amount of food because it is pretty good as well. Can’t say much about how healthy the food is but YOSO, you’re only in the south once.

So, here’s the thing…
There isn’t a whole lot to say about The Waffle House, with a million waffle joints all over the south its hard not to sample The Waffle House after a night of debauchery. This WH is situated close to my apartment, surprisingly the customer service at this location is terrific.
I order a chocolate chip waffle (yes, there are actually tiny morsels of choco wonderfulness IN the fucking waffle, dear sweet Jesus) and a side of hash browns, add a cup of coffee and whatever sins I might have committed earlier in the evening are all washed away.
Service is speedy, of course, food is cheap, of course, wait staff is friendly, of course.
